Rachel- And at last... the final chapter.

All- ONTO THE STORY!

Months have passed since Keith disappeared. Just like Keith said, everyone did forget about him, including Kate. It was around April 5th with spring blowing into Almia. Cool breezes past by as cherry blossom petals flew along with them. Kate just woke up, hearing that today she'll be getting a new partner.

"I wonder if they'll like me." Kate sighed as she slipped out of bed, getting ready for another day of patrolling. It's been about 5 months since the Altru incident, some things she cannot remember. Her memory was blurry just on that day.

"Goodbye..."

It rung in her head. "Maybe someone said goodbye to me on that day and I don't remember?" Kate pondered, walking out of her room. "Perhaps I might meet them again? Or not? Ugh... why can't I remember."

"Morning, Kate!" Rhythmi greeted.

"Oh. Morning, Rhy!" Kate smiled, waving at the blonde.

"Hey, I was going through our Ranger School year book and I found this kid that was in our class, but I don't remember him." Rhythmi said, looking puzzled.

"Really?" Kate asked. "Let me see."

Rhythmi pulled out the year book and pointed at a picture.

"See." Rhythmi's finger was right next to a kid with red spiky hair. "Do you remember a kid like that?"

"Um.. no. Does it say what his name is?" Kate asked.

"No, it's scribbled out for some reason." Rhythmi replied.

"He seems familiar, but I don't remember him." Kate scratched her head.

"Ooh mysteries are so fun!" Rhythmi cheered. "Issac got me into mystery novels. They're so interesting!"

"Oh shoot we're going to be late for breakfast!" Kate scrambled.

"Last one down there is a Slowpoke!" Rhythmi teased, running down the stairs.

"That's not fair you got a head start!" Kate ran, laughing.

Later that day...

"I have very exciting news." Chairperson Erma announced. Murmurs spread across the room, but then stopped when Erma continued.

"We have decided on our 12th and final Top Ranger." Erma looked very pleased.

"Awesome!" Kate cheered.

"Kate, he will be your partner." Erma said.

"He? Oh, cool." Kate sweat dropped.

"Everyone, say hello to Keith Dylan, our 12th Top Ranger." Erma said. "Come on in, now."

A teenager, around the same age as Kate walked into the room. He had a goofy-like grin and his hair was red with spikes all over the place.

"He- WHA!"

BAM!

"Ack..." The guy tripped over his untied shoe laces. Everybody laughed as he stood up, laughing along.

"Heh.. sorry about that." He sweat dropped, sheepishly scratching his head. "Well, the name is Keith. Here's my partner, Aqua." A Buizel climbed up his arm.

"Bui bui!" The Buizel greeted.

"Awww." The girls in the room cooed.

"Keith?" Kate thought in her head. "Sounds familiar.."

"Keith? Keith... Dylan.." She kept repeating in her head. A small breeze past by Kate, and her eyes widened.

Keith Dylan, the lovable idiot. Her partner in the past, her best friend, and well, her lover. Memories gathered back into Kate's head, from the very beginning of Ranger School to the Altru Mission. Everything. As they recalled in her head, the moment now didn't feel like an awkward introduction, but more.. nostalgic. She smiled to herself.

"Well everyone, I hope you make Keith feel like he belongs here." Erma said. "You're all excused."

"Hello, Keith!"

"Hiya, I'm Rhythmi. I hope we can become friends!"

"How did you become a top ranger?"

"I'm Linda! I like your hair!"

"Well, erm, thanks. Haha."

People rushed over to Keith, talking to him and asking him questions. Kate stayed out for a little before the crowd died down. She walked over to Keith, introducing herself.

"Hello. My name is Catalina Katomi, but you can just call me Kate." Kate put out her hand for a handshake. "I'm your partner from now on."

"Hey, Kate." Keith grinned. "Nice to meet ya."

"I believe I've seen you before. Somewhere." Kate said. "Do you remember me or anything?"

"Um..." Keith was thinking, but no results came into his head. "Nope I don't remember a 'Kate Katomi' anywhere."

"I see." Kate weakly smiled.

"Sorry about that." Keith sweat dropped.

"No it's alright, don't need to apologize!" Kate assured him.

"I hope we can become good friends." Keith grinned, giving his famous thumbs up.

"Same here." Kate laughed.

"Now before we do that... LAST ONE DOWNSTAIRS IS A SLOWPOKE!" He ran down the stairs with Kate in tow.

"Wait up!" Kate whined, running after him. Keith doesn't remember her after all, which saddens Kate a bit. However, it's a chance for new memories and she is grateful that he's back. Everyone may not remember the past memories with Keith, but new ones won't hurt at all.

"Keith I remember you!"

"I missed you so much!

"Remember all our memories at Ranger School?"

"Where have you been?"

"I love you."

Those were words she wanted to say, but not now, maybe in the future. However for now...

Kate smiled to herself, "These are some of the..."

"Hurry up, Kate!" Keith called her from downstairs.

"Coming!" Kate called back, filling her mind with memories.

"Some of the..." She took a deep breath.

"Things I'll never say."

Rachel- Thank you all for staying with me to the end! *CRIES* WAHHHHHHHH I'M SAD THAT THIS FANFIC IS ENDING.

Sandy- *blows nose in tissue* I'd never thought this day would come!

Aqua- *sweat drops* nor did the readers.

Rachel- It's almost been 2 years, about 1 year of being busy and procrastination. I really just want to thank you all for supporting me even though I was absent for a long time. Seriously, without you guys, I probably would've gave up this fanfiction 2 years ago. But thanks to your support, I managed to push aside my summer work and finish this fanfiction for you guys. I love you guys so much. I hope this won't be the end.

Sandy- Certainly it'll be a while, though.

Rachel- But thank you once again. I hope you all enjoyed this fanfic, even though the first half of it was written by my 12 year old self *sweat drops*
