Did I surprise you by pushing this story all the way back to the first page?
I'm sorry for not updating for a long time. I went on a long hiatus to improve my writing skills. After re-reading my already completed stories, I realized that even the title of 'amateur' was too high for me. I had no range of vocabulary, no ability to avoid typos, imperfect grammar, etc.
Another reason I went is because I just lost interest in Soul Eater, and anime in general. I picked up video-games and lost my interest in anime COMPLETELY. But, after 6 months, I began watching anime again. I got obsessed with both (Video-games are much better though) My bookshelf had more games on it than books.
I turned into Francis at one point! (Super Paper Mario reference. Anyone get it? No? Ok...)
I'm starting fresh on a new account, Gamer-Geekess if you're interested. I will have better stories, better writing, and more variety in the things I write fanfics for. This will be the last thing I will ever write on this account, so enjoy the last chapter of 'Maka the Bunny'!
After a few weeks, the bunny issue had been resolved, but it hasn't been forgotten.
Maka became the queen of emotional outbursts, as if she wasn't already the queen. She was angry a majority of the time, she would cry for the smallest things and she declared herself the dictator of the apartment. There was a night where she kicked Soul out of the apartment for eating the last cookie on the plate. He had to sleep in the dumpster, and ended up smelling worse than Black*Star.
Blair found her outbursts to be quite interesting. Until the day where she asked Maka why she didn't have Facebook and actually ended up getting Face-Booked.
Whenever Tsubaki or anyone else came over for a visit, she behaved like she would any other day. Except around Kid. She was always fangirling around him, which was very out of character for her. But then again, the bunny issue had probably made her hormones spiral out of control.
While Maka was busy yelling at Blair for bringing a horde of shirtless men into the apartment, Kid was in his oh-so-ever symmetrical house, thinking.
Why did Maka conceal the fact that she was a bunny? Why she show so much affection towards him in that state? What was this new emotion that he felt whenever he was around her? And the most important question of all...
WHY was his picture frame 1 millimeter to the right?! He SWORE that he had fixed it an hour ago!
Liz was sure to be quiet as she tip-toed down the halls of the mansion. She opened the double-doors that led to Kid's room.
She began snooping around for his diary. He usual calls it his 'Reaper Journal' so that his partners wouldn't tease him about having a diary, but that didn't stop them.
It was very well-hidden. Liz was sure she spent around half an hour just looking for it. Luckily, Kid was still adjusting the symmetry in the kitchen and wouldn't be back anytime soon.
It's not in his dresser.
It's not in his closet.
It's not in his bookcase.
It's not under his- WAIT. Yeah, it's under his pillow.
Liz was out of the mansion with in seconds, marching towards Maka's house. Literally, marching. She was wearing a band uniform, complete with a staff and extremely long top hat.
...Where did she get that costume from?
Maka was in the living room, currently occupying herself with the dictionary. It was quite obvious that Ox had a wider range of vocabulary, so she resorted to reading the dictionary to beat her rival. But who said Ox wasn't doing to same thing?
Soul made his way into the meister's room. The location of her diary was quite obvious; it was taped under the table. She liked to call it her 'Super Secret Journal Of Things Only Meant For Maka's Eyes and Maka's Eyes Only And Nobody Should Ever Touch It Unless Given Permission'. 'SSJOTOMFMEAMEOANSETIUGP' for "short". Yes, I said short.
It would be difficult to go by the living room and not get noticed, so he took a last resort and jumped out her window.
He landed on top of Liz.
"Hey Soul."
"Nice top hat."
"Get off me before I beat you with my cane."
"I'm too cool to take orders from a girl. I'm getting off because I want to, NOT because I feel threatened by your cane."
"Uh-huh."
Liz got up and dusted herself off. She entered the building and made her way up to Maka's floor. Just before Liz was able to knock on the door, she felt someone behind her. She could feel the presence of the evil being that lurked behind her. She felt a hand on her shoulder and flinched. The person came close to her ear...
"HEY SIS, WHY DIDN'T YA BRING ME ALONG?!" Patty yelled in her ear. Liz thought her left ear drum burst.
"Patty! Don't sneak up on me like that again!"
"I don't make promises I can't keep~"
The elder pistol sighed. She knocked on Maka's door a few times. The sisters heard Maka say it's open, so they made their way through the door.
Maka closed her dictionary and went to greet the Thompsons. "Nice top hat, Liz."
Liz took her hat off and gave it to Patty. "We have something important to tell you."
The younger pistol took the 'Reaper Journal' and turned to the page where Kid wrote about Maka.
Blair watched Maka's reaction from the windowsill. It was quite entertaining, to say the least.
Soul made his way to Kid's Mansion. He went up to the front door and knocked on the door three times.
"Knock eight times, or no entry."
The scythe sighed. He wondered how Liz and Patty deal with this everyday. Soul knocked the correct number of times and was allowed into the mansion. Kid opened the door and gave Soul a blank look.
"Did you need something, you asymmetrical abomination? I really don't have time for you. I'm busy adjusting the symmetry in the house, thank you very much."
Soul said nothing has he took out Maka's diary and showed one of her pages to the reaper.
He had no reaction at first. Kid shut the door in the scythe's face, and stood there for a moment. While he maintained a calm exterior, his mind was jumping to all sorts of thoughts.
The next few weeks, things had been very awkward between the pair. But one day, Kid asked something of her.

"...Will you go out with me?"
"...Sure."
I feel as if this is a cliffhanger for some reason. I'm proud of this chapter, but it's not my best work. I hope you enjoyed! If you want to read anymore fanfics of mine, check Gamer-Geekess. I don't have any up there yet though. Maybe in a day or two? This is the last time I'll be logging into this account. Thanks for reading!
