"Get up! Get up! Get up!" Zelda exclaimed into Groose's ear. The other shot up in minor panic thinking they were under attack.

"Damn Zel, I thought we were under attack." Groose sighed in releif and wiped his eyes. He could still sleep for a few more hours.

"Never the matter," Zelda smiled excited to find the rebels. "We have a full day ahead of us. Plats and Gorko are already up, and you need to get up too. We have to go! Go! Go!"

Groose groaned and complied getting up and stretching.

"Im hot!" Groose complained wiping the sweat off his forehead. This desert went on forever.

"Suck it up Groose." Zelda grumbled. "In case you haven't noticed, we're all hot."

"Zelda, what if they're not here? What if Demise got to them? Ever think of that?" Groose snapped.

Zelda rolled her eyes. "They have to be here."

It wasn't until the sun started to set that Zelda felt her hope leave her.

"Groose, maybe you're right. Maybe I'm crazy and-" Zelda's sentence was cut short when an arrow shot passed her head and made a long shallow gash across her cheek.

She spun around grabbing her own bow seeing five hooded figures. "Groose! Protect Link!" Zelda yelled and shot arrows at the figures. They easily avoided the shots and dashed to Zelda trying to take her out first. Gorko was already curled in a ball rolling towards the hooded figures. He only hit one knocking a surprised cry from the throat of the figure. They got up quickly and put on a gauntlet punching Gorko as he rolled towards them.

Gorko was surprised to find a gash on his back from where he was hit and he watched the other get up holding their fists up challenging Gorko to attack.

Plats on the other hand was having fun. One of the other figures was going after Groose and Link, Plats dug through the ground as fast as he coukd, and when he heard the loud thumps of the other running, he reached his arms up and pulled the other down trapping them in the dirt.

Zelda quickly ran out of arrows and she was forced into hand to hand combat. It was constantly ducking and kicking, hitting and slapping, and she had to admit, they were putting up a good fight.

Groose was taking the last one trying to protect Link who the person seemed to be going after. He wasn't that good at fighting, but Link was in no condition to fight. Groose had a small advantage because he was taller than the other, it didnt take him long to pin the other to the ground. He removed the hood of the figure to find a girl not much younger than Zelda.

"Zelda!" Zelda got distracted for a breif second which was long enough to get her knocked on the ground.

"Did Demise send you?" The hooded male spat venomously holding a knife to Zelda's throat.

The girl squirmed uncomfortably under the blade and replied, "I'd never work for that low life demon!"

"Who taught you how to fight then?"

"I am part of the sheikah tribe, I was trained by Impa. Unfortunately, she died."

The male got off of Zelda and put the knife away smiling and pulling away his hood. "Great, im Pipit and these are my friends." The rest of them pulled off their hoods. "The woman over there is Karane, the man in the ground is Fledge, and that's Cawlin and Strich. We're rebels and I take it you are too?"

Zelda stood and dusted herself off. "Yes, I am Zelda, that is Gorko, Plats, Groose and behind him is Link, and he is belived to be the hero."

"The hero?!" Pipit looked so happy he was about to explode.

"I wouldn't get too excited." Zelda warned. "He was found in the demon's care and he's afraid of his own shadow."

Pipit looked at the boy with pity. "Well, it's getting dark. We should get back to the others."

"Others?! There's more of you?!" Zelda couldn't stop smiling.

The female known as Karane stood up and Groose tried to help her surprised when she turned around and yelled, "DO NOT TOUCH ME!"

Groose was shocked as she stormed off. Fledge chuckled, "Don't take it personally, she doesn't cope well with defeat."

"I can tell..." Groose went back over to Link and leaded him to where the others were.

"Come on, let's get going. You dont want to be out here when nightfalls." Pipit led the group to the rebel camp and Zelda couldn't have been more prepared for what she found there.
