A few days later, Charlene, Mary Jo, Carlene and Anthony sat in the living room of Julia's home. Allison went back to New York while Perky and Payne were staying at Suzanne's house. They wanted to leave the team alone. B.J. felt she wasn't part of the original team so she couldn't make decisions for the rest of them. She said she was only on the team because Julia lost the business to her in a drunken poker game.

"What are we going to do?" Carlene asked.

"The four of us are the only people of Sugarbakers and Associates that want to keep the business continuing. Allison and Suzanne are the last surviving Sugarbakers and neither of them want to be involved. B.J. feels she doesn't want to be here with the way she got the business. But she agreed not to pull her money out. She'll let us continue and she'll be here if we need her. But not in the office on a daily basis." They nodded.

"I'm a partner in this firm," Anthony spoke up, "and I'll miss Julia as the head. Especially being in her home, but this is the way we can honor and remember her."

"I agree." Carlene replied."

"So we'll keep up being Sugarbakers and Associates?" They all nodded to Mary Jo's question.

"I'll keep my job as the office manager." Charlene chimed in.

"I can be a decorator." Carlene spoke up.

"So will I." Mary Jo responded.

"I can stay as the delivery driver and Etienne said she'd help in any way she can."

"We're staying open." Mary Jo questioned making sure they were all on the same page one last time.

"This is our connection to Julia." Carlene stated.

"It'll be harder to close the doors than keep it open. Closing Sugarbakers would be saying goodbye to Julia forever. This was her dream, and it's the way we can keep her with us." Charlene agreed and Mary Jo nodded.

"We'll tell our clients we're open. It won't be easy, but we are doing this for Julia."

"To Julia." Charlene said with a shake in her voice, but a smile.
