A/N I own nothing
Just a reminder, but this story may or may not have anything to do with my actual beliefs. It fits with the story.
One Month!
"Success?" The wizened old man asked. A feral grin was his only response. The man and his two female companions walked through the castle with wide smiles on their flushed faces.
For Harry and Morgana, it had been far too long since they had caused such mayhem. The runic array they had just pulled off, destroying the whole of Little Whinging, was the final test. Created by the lovely Morgana about 800 years ago, this had been the first time it was used. Lily had provided the location for their little display. It was a nice little revenge on her jealous sister and her sadistic husband.
While Camelot had a noble goal, uniting the world under one banner and bringing peace to the dying world, no one would say that the two Potter's were anything less than sadistic humans. In that regard, the two were perfect for each other. Every minute of terror put onto someone, was a minute well spent in their opinion.
It was Arthur and Merlin's greatest fear that when Camelot did finally reach its ultimate goal, would the two be able to bring themselves under control. Merlin was not so conceited to think that he could take both of them down if he needed to. Hopefully it was a foolish worry. Harry had been completely loyal to Arthur since they were toddlers.
Merlin cleared his thoughts quickly. Harry and Morgana had given him no reason not to trust them. They had stood idly by for 1500 years without the bloodlust consuming them. There was no reason to think that after the war was over that it would be any different.
There would always be uprisings and criminals to deal with after the outcome as well. Merlin and Arthur would make sure that those could be dealt with, with extreme prejudice by the Potter's.
While the thought of what Camelot's plan sickened him to an extent, he had come to understand that evils were a part of the world. One had to choose which evil was the correct path to take. He had always been an advocate for peace and allowing people to live their lives without interference. Even after helping close off Camelot from the outside world, they had all thought to just live their lives in peace.
Paying attention to the outside world made living in peace impossible. The world that they had all traveled and loved was dying. Non-magicals were killing magicals just for being who they were and then justifying it by choosing to believe God wanted them to become murderers.
Crusades across the continents, mass killings for no other reason than you think everyone should believe what you do. As time moved on, weapons became more advanced, killings became easier and the world became that much more blood thirsty.
War wasn't the only thing wrong with the world either. Forests and Jungles disappearing because people were too greedy to see the damage they were doing to rest of the world. Lands being destroyed to build massive buildings. Governments supporting people that had no right to any help. Watching someone getting hardworking taxpayers money so they can go buy more drugs was hard to stomach.
These were the things, more than anything else, which Merlin saw that made him know what they were doing was the right course of action. He knew he was a hypocrite. He wanted to stop war so they were starting a new one, but it came back to which evil was greater.
Camelot wanted to unify everyone. No more hiding magical beings. Everyone would live in peace. That was the theory at least. Morgana's spell wasn't necessarily meant for the genocide of humans, but created to restore life to the way it was intended.
Waters would once again be clear as a freshly fallen snow. Animals would once again be king of their domain and not having to constantly be finding a new forest to dwell in. This was a war, not to conquer mankind, but a war to save the earth.
Merlin always had to go back and remind himself of why they were doing this. Why Arthur was willing to subject the world to the cruelties that were about to be unleashed. Without them, the world was tearing itself apart. This was the only way to world peace.
With those thoughts in mind, he picked up the pace and made after his three companions. The first strike had been delivered and their as no time for rest.

Everyone was gathered around the legendary table waiting for the meeting to begin. Arthur's 1500 years of existence had not lessened his youthful exuberance. He was known as a child in a man's body to anyone who truly knew him, but this was not one of those times.
His eyes were as focused as any of them had ever seen. It was his demeanor that everyone focused on, knowing that only war could bring out anything so serious in the man. Looking around at everyone there, they all knew who was in charge, despite the symbol of the Round table.
"I take it the operation was a success?"
With a grin, it was Harry that replied. "Complete success! And there is no one in the world who doesn't know exactly who launched the attack."
"Good," Arthur spoke. "Hopefully the world governments will be so preoccupied with their own people demanding answers for their secrets that they won't be able to completely focus on our next moves. " Turning to the head of his military, Jon Truene, a master of strategy and one of Lord Potter's first vampires, he asked a question he had already asked numerous times before. "What is the world's next move?"
"Their arrogance should get the better of them, especially with America trying to take the lead. They have been the top military power for as long as most people can remember and they will assume that they can overcome us with pure strength.
"While Britain's government and its current," here he sneered out, "Queen won't allow a nuclear strike on their soil, they have many effective weapons that will give them a sense of superiority. France, Germany, and Spain will follow along like puppies. I expect to be completely surrounded on all sides and see the full brunt of their military might within a week's time."
"Thank you Jon," and then turning to Harry, he asked his next question. "The wards are at full strength? I want nothing to penetrate Camelot and taint our land."
"Yes, your majesty. Nothing will get through the wards as they are now. The military's will have to also rely on their pilots aim as well, since our wards will disrupt and laser technology that they have. If they try to use it, they will only end up bombing one of the neighboring cities and causing even more chaos."
"Excellent! How does our own military strength fare Morgana?"
"Very well, your majesty. Fifty thousand Vampires ready and waiting. They are as excited as my husband and I are. They will be ready and completely willing to do battle with the world. They have been trained to use their speed to their advantage. Their eyesight has been enhanced that they can see bullets flying at them and get out of the way without being hit. Same with spells from the magicals.
"My husband has also fixed the problem vampires have with the sunlight. They will be able to go out and fight at any time, day or night. The only issue they will have will be with the more destructive of weapons, but that is where our magical population will have to step in.
"Merlin has created a temporary ward that will hide us from any advancing planes and ships that can shoot their more potent bombs. They will not risk hitting their own men with the more destructive weapons, leaving them only able to use their precision strike attacks. Hiding us will neuter them and by the time any of their magicals can figure out what is going on, we will be victorious.
"That is just our main strike force. We have the goblins ready to completely ruin Britain and its neighboring countries economies by taking all their gold and bringing it behind Camelot's wards. They are just waiting for Your Majesties command.
"We also have our Riders that are more than ready to do battle. The Dragons and Basilisk's are being prepped for the upcoming festivities. The Griffins and Phoenix's would rather stay in the background, but are willing to help out when we need it. The Griffin's would never let anyone ride them, but the Phoenixes are ready to transport large groups in and out of anywhere we need to go. As you all know, there are no current wards that can stop their travel.
"The Elves have decided that they will fight alongside us, even though we have not asked them out of respect for their low population. My husband, Merlin, and I have decided to only use them in the safest of circumstances.
"Also, earlier this morning, right after our attack, Harry has called back the dementors and has had them placed safely away from any of our population. We used the chaos of the attack to bring them back and expect that they still do not of their desertion.
"Compared to the world's army of millions we would seem to be at a huge disadvantage, but our superior skills and magical prowess should be more than enough to tip the scales. We will not be going into open warfare, but rather doing sneak attacks like this morning. They can't get to us here and sooner or later, we will wear them down."
"Thank you Morgana," Arthur stated, impressed with his armies readiness. Plans had always been kept from the army. The only people that had known of their plan to confront the world were in that very room.
"Now onto the next phase of our plan. Merlin will explain it, and then we will hammer out the details. This will go into effect tomorrow."
"Thank you Arthur." Merlin looked at everyone in the room, stopping just a moment longer on Arthur, Harry, and Morgana. "As the muggles would say, we have shown them the stick, now we will give the carrot. Here is what we do….."

People were scared. That was nothing different. It had been that way for years, ever since Voldemort had come out into the open, or as most people called him, You-know-who. Now though it was completely different. They said Voldemort was gone. Vanished into the wind after the attack on the Potter's.
The Potter's too had completely disappeared and no one knew where they were. Extensive questioning of Sirius Black under Veritaserum, proved absolutely nothing. Somehow he had fooled the truth serum to make everyone think he was innocent, but the thing was that everyone knew he was guilty, so they put him into Azkaban anyway for his betrayal.
The next day was what many magicals considered to be a miracle. Camelot was back! Back in all its glory, for that huge castle hidden behind the most impressive wards anyone had ever heard of could only be one thing.
They had all watched as an army of highly trained soldiers marched out of the castle with Camelot's banner at the front. They walked straight up to Britain's current monarch and gave her a piece of parchment, before turning on their heels and marching straight back. Only a few were close enough to hear any words exchanged and they weren't talking.
That same night, the leaders of the muggle and magical world's broadcasted throughout the world that they were currently working with the mysterious people and held absolutely no threat. People believed them, because they refused to believe the other option. Magicals had just got out of a war and had no desire to want another one. Muggles had no clue what was going on and had to accept their leaders reasoning. That didn't stop the rumors that were going around.
After two months and only seeing the occasional person inside the wards, life had started to return to normal. The government' assurances always replaying in their minds. Everything changed on New Year's though, exactly two months after Camelot's appearance.
The government had been wrong. They didn't have things under control. Camelot, in a show of magic never seen before, completely wiped out an entire muggle city without so much as leaving a trace of anything behind.
The following announcement made by the Head of the Potter family, someone barely anyone had ever heard of, had them all reverting back to Voldemort's height of power. They may not have recognized the Potter head, but they certainly recognized the two witches at his side. Lily Potter, a witch that all muggleborns recognized. She was an inspiration to many, showing that they were just as good as any pureblood. Her standing side by side this man who caused so much destruction and without an ounce of remorse, broke many of those muggleborns. She was not the hero they thought she was.
The other witch was also unrecognizable until her name was announced. Morgana Le Fey? These people had to be kidding. Going from Voldemort to Morgana Le Fey just seemed like a nightmare that would never end. The scariest part may not have been that she was back from the dead, but the fact that the whole muggle world was listening to the same announcement. They had done something Voldemort would never do. They put magicals into open warfare with muggles.
As the population ran from door to door trying to get the base essentials needed for survival, the very thing they were dreading manifested right in front of them.
Even the magicals that were no better than Squibs could recognize the wards currently put into place. Wards that would allow no travel out of the alley. They would allow anyone to come in, but once there, they were stuck until they were removed.
Before panic could even begin to register, a commotion caught everyone's attention at the far end of the Alley. A burst of white fire, burning hotter than the sun, exploded leaving four people. One of the men, green eyes filled with an inner fire, goatee on his face, and broad frame, stood exuding magical power not seen in recent times.
To his immediate right stood his companion and only female of the group. She personified beauty. Straight black hair that reached to her lower back. Her eyes had the opposite effect as her partner. They looked like bright blue pools of ice. The Alley recognized these people right away. How could they not. There had been a never ending loop of their pictures and messages on every broadcast and paper for the past 24 hours. Harry Potter, current Lord Potter and his wife Morgana Le Fey were standing in the middle of Diagon Alley and people had no idea what they could do.
The few observers that could actually keep a calm head, looked past these two and saw the two others. A man with a white beard, not unlike one seen on everyone's favorite Headmaster. His eyes weren't full of ice and fire, but you could see depths of wisdom. He gave off an aura of trust and many people couldn't understand what he was doing with the two evil beings.
The last man had a small beard, standing overlooking the people of the Alley with confidence rarely seen in a human. The thickest of people could see that he was a predator standing among his prey. Unlike his three companions, there was no significant magical power coming off him, but that didn't make the population any less wary.
It only took a second, but they soon saw that the three were surrounding the man, protecting him. It wasn't a protection of a mother and son, knowing he doesn't have the knowledge to protect himself. It was the protection of subordinates and their leader.
It was this observation that got the last man a more significant look. This was what the gasps to go throughout the small road. This man was a legend as much as Merlin was. A man who united the kingdoms. If the crown on his head didn't let everyone know, it would have been the gleaming sword sitting its scabbard. The lost sword of legend, Excalibur was there sitting on his left hip for all to see.
Arthur had returned!
If that was Arthur, then the man who exuded kindness and trust must be Merlin. Before they could get too excited seeing two beings of legend one question had to be asked.
'What are the two lightest beings in our history doing with those two monsters?'
-JOAH ESA-
They were the face of Camelot, or soon would be. With a burst of white hot fire from one of their black Phoenixes, they stood confidently at the end of Diagon Alley. It was time for part two of their long thought out plan. As Merlin said, it was time for the carrot.
It only took a few moments and the people recognized exactly who was in their presence. The two lightest and two darkest beings in history working together had to confuse more than a few people. If heads could actually burst from confusion, there would be more than a few red smears painting the street.
Not allowing panic to catch hold, the four walked towards the gleaming white stone building in front of them with a sense of purpose. There were currently four guards in front of the famous bank, who to the shock of everyone standing in the alley, bowed to the four Magicals.
Each one bowing back, they turned around facing the entirety of the Alley. Not one of the people moved. It was no different than looking at the sickly green light of the killing curse. You knew you could dodge it, but the terror froze your feet into place. These people were no different. They couldn't move, afraid that any sudden movement would draw attention to themselves.
Harry seeing they had everyone's attention, brought out his wand and created a platform on the steps of Gringotts. Arthur stepped onto the platform first, followed by Merlin, Harry, and then Morgana. Harry and Morgana were to his right, with Merlin on his left.
At this point, more members of the Magical community were pouring into the street. Aurors, government officials, and members of the Order were all standing there, looking at each other, not sure what to do. They had expected to come into a fight that they would be lucky to survive, but to watch as everyone stood frozen staring at four figures in front standing calmly was a little unexpected.
Arthur, knowing he had plenty of people there that would get the word out to the rest started phase two.
"WELCOME EVERYONE
"As some of you have come to figure out, I am Arthur Pendragon, the rightful King to these lands. I may not expect such loyalty from those outside this island yet, but I will expect complete obedience from those within. You have followed a usurper to my throne.
"I have left no Heir outside of the Camelot walls and your current Monarch comes from a family that was only in the right place at the right time. As much as that angers Camelot, it is of no fault of her own. If she steps down and acknowledges us as the rightful rulers, we will have no quarrel with her or her people.
"We do understand that she has very little actual power anymore, so we expect the British government to comply as well. If you have doubts to our true identities, I ask you to look no further than this!"
Arthur took on a fierce look, daring anyone to challenge his claim as he withdrew the mythical sword. The steel sparkled in the sun as it was removed from its scabbard. Not even the aged Headmaster and his black haired companion in the audience could come up with a response to seeing the sword. With a thrust into the marble steps of the bank, the sword cut through it like butter and settled in.
"As it was so long ago, the sword has once again been placed into the stone. We will give everyone in Britain a chance to prove us wrong.
"One month!
"One month is all you have to prove to us that we have absolutely no claim over this dominion. Prove us wrong and we will disappear once again to never darken your community again. Pick the sword out of the stone with any magical or non-magical means available to you. It matters not, because it will only be picked up by its true owner.
"We will be back in one month and I will pick up the sword, proving to all of you that I am the rightful ruler of this realm and then…..then you will have to decide."
Stepping back from the sword, Arthur nodded towards his mentor and Merlin stepped forward. His voice was smooth and soft, but held a commanding tone.
"One month!
"One month is all you have to think of your allegiances. Your ancestors were all a part of Camelot at one point before we decided to hide ourselves. We had hoped that the world would be able to function peacefully without us. We were tired of the wars.
"It has become painfully obvious that you cannot govern yourselves. Legend says that Arthur would be back. Back when this realm needs him more than any other time. That time is now!
"We gave everyone two months to prove to us that you were willing to change your ways or suffer the consequences. You chose to think we were bluffing. Camelot does not bluff…it doesn't know how to bluff.
"You have lost any chance of dealing peacefully, but that doesn't mean that Camelot is without mercy. You have one month to decide where your loyalties lie. We will all be back in this same spot one month from now and those who choose to side with us will be given protection behind our walls. Those who do not will feel all of Camelot's wrath.
"We would like to see you all make the correct decision. We can only hope that bloodshed is minimal in this conflict."
Merlin stepped back next to his companions looking out over the crowd. The crowd at stunned by the Great Merlin's words. This was Merlin. The Greatest and Wisest Sorcerer to ever live. Why shouldn't they listen to him? He was giving them a chance to stay protected and stay out of the war. Before they could think any more on it, Lord Potter stepped to the front.
"One month!
"One month you have to decide. Are you with us or against us?
"Think this is a bluff? Just remember what happened the last time you disregarded us.
"Think yesterday's attack was deadly? That was just a wakeup call!
"Camelot is not afraid of anything we can do and we know exactly what you can do, Magical and Non-magical alike. We have nothing to fear from any of you. Choose your sides carefully.
"Think we are just slightly worse than Voldemort and if you weathered that storm, you can weather this one?
"Voldemort was a coward and it is an insult if you ever compare us to Voldemort. You that sided with Voldemort were nothing but cowards. Think you're top of the world because you fight against people that have no way of protecting themselves back.
"Voldemort liked to think himself an enemy of the Non-magicals and people born to them. It is interesting though that the Non-magicals had no idea that he even existed. He was nothing to them. Voldemort knew he couldn't show himself to them, because he would be crushed like a bug beneath their boots.
"We have become what Voldemort could only hope to achieve. We will fight the world with the world knowing exactly who we are. We will not hide.
"Think carefully. Camelot offers you a chance to bring about a peace that this world has never seen. Magicals and Non-magicals will stand side by side. People will be responsible for themselves without living off everyone else.
"Do you want your kids to go through another war so close to the last one? Think long and hard…..if you aren't with us, you're against us. And those against us will be forced to see their errors or succumb to the same fate as Little Whinging!"
Harry Potter stepped back from his passionate speech. The crowd would soon grow restless, needing time to think over everything said to them. They only had one more quick speech left. Morgana strode to the front of the stage and it didn't matter if you thought she was evil reincarnate, no one could deny her beauty.
"One month!
"One month to think long and hard about what you want in your future.
"Everyone who sides with us will be protected and no one will be turned away.
"Camelot has shown mercy by offering you another chance, knowing that information was being withheld. Do not push us any further. You will not win!
"I came up with the spell for Little Whinging 800 years ago. Don't believe for a second that I stopped there.
Giving a little smirk to the audience, "My other spells are much more entertaining and my husband and I are definitely looking forward to using them.
"As many of you can tell, we are allies with Gringotts.
"Understand this…..they are under our protection. An attack on them is an attack on Camelot and your month will be immediately over.
"We have convinced them to leave you all of your money instead of packing it all up and coming straight to Camelot, but we can definitely change our minds. You will not be able to take out all of your money either until you choose a side. The goblins will only allow enough gold to be withdrawn for you to survive.
"Siding with Camelot will see your vaults restored in full, while siding against us will see it taken to Camelot.
"You have one month. Do not disappoint us!
She stepped back ending their speech. They just watched as the crowd looked horrified at the choice they would have to make in the future. Well, not all of them were contemplating. One of them was so angered by the man's words against his master that he chose to act without thinking of the consequences.
The silent crowd was interrupted by two hateful words, words that had put panic into the public just months ago.
"AVADA KEDAVRA!"
The green spell left the man's wand going straight for Lord Potter, the man who spoke such blasphemy against his master. As much as people hated that spell, once they saw where it was going, more than a few light and dark people hoped it would hit and end a threat. Their wishes would be denied.
The man stood calmly and then did something considered impossible. With a wave of his hand the spell vanished into thin air. He then walked forward out to the crowd who all took a step back wondering what the evil man was going to do.
"You think you could harm me with a spell I created? How foolish are you?" With a quick hand motion the idiotic man was flying forward to land at the man's feet. There was no screams. He was too scared to even make a noise.
"What is your name?"
"….."
"Maybe you need some help remembering." Taking out his wand, Harry used it as a quill to draw a rune on his upper arm. The crowd watched horrified, but not able to do anything as the man's arm began to peel. Starting from his fingernails being bent back, the skin soon followed all the way up his arm until it stopped at the rune. Layer after layer peeled back until all that was left of his arm was on the ground. Bones were the only thing left. The process had sure got the man's attention and he was screaming himself hoarse.
"Ready to tell me your name yet? Otherwise you have two legs and another arm left." Harry was speaking maliciously, enjoying every second of the torture.
"Lucius Malfoy," he screamed. "Please! I'm sorry!"
Golden hair silhouetted the scared man's face as his grey eyes filled with terror kept alternating towards the man's face and his deformed arm.
"Well Lucius Malfoy, thank you for volunteering for a demonstration." Quick as anyone had ever seen before, Lord Potter took his wand and drew the same rune, along with one more on his forehead.
It took only a second before the screaming began anew. He was peeling from head to toe. If anyone could comprehend what they were seeing over the terror, they would be puking all over the street. Instead of leaving the bones pure white as it did with his one arm, they started to take on a decaying look to them.
The coherent in the audience wondered how the man could even be standing after what happened.
With a twirl of Lord Potter's wand, a black cloak was draped over what was left of the man and Lord Potter spoke straight to them.
"Welcome to the ranks of the Dementors Lucius Malfoy. We are glad to have you. Please head back to Camelot and meet your fellow brethren."
Lucius Malfoy could only glide away, fear inducing aura being spread around him. The first new dementor in 1500 years. He could only obey his Lord's command.
Watching as he exited the magical street, Harry turned back to the audience.
"You have One Month!"
They exited the same way they came.
