Was love worth the risk? This was a question that had plagued Dean's mind ever since he was a little boy and his father had been destroyed by his mother's death. He had risked all and nothing in the past and as he lay there watching Castiel he realized that he should learn from his mistakes. Tentative was how he should approach these feeling he had starting to stir, without haste and with the expectations of nothing, guarding his heart but trying either way. This was what Dean decided on before he fell asleep.

Castiel awoke to the slight snore of one Dean Winchester, he felt his expression relax and a small, wholesome smile grace his pleasant features. and then the sheet moved and all that Castiel could focus on was the pink bud of dean's nipple before he felt a stirring in his groin.

Dean woke to the most pleasant of sights and feeling, Looking down and seeing his cock filling Castiel's mouth was an image he was convinced would be burned into his mind until the end of his days. He came without hesitance, feeling as if his day had never started better than this.

"So", Castiel said whilst licking his lips, "what are your plans this fine weekend?" Dean had to take a moment to even concentrate on the question, never mind formulate a coherent reply, a fact that pleased a very arrogant part of Castiel.

"Honestly, I was planning on doing a whole lot of nothing. This week has tired me out good and proper." Was his final response. he made sure Cas got the gist with a salacious wink. The laugh from Cas was worth the cliche of his comment. That twinkle in his eyes paired with the gracious smile plastered across his smile was how Dean knew Cas should be.

"Well I have a spare ticket to watch Baseball today if you want?" Castiel didn't even know where this came from but hell i he was going to take it back, he was brazen but he would never dream of being rude. Dean looked at him, blinked and then smiled, a sequence much like a confused small child would play out.

'Sure", was the simple reply before Dean slipped out of the bed and padded his way to the en suite. Cas didn't understand why he had asked him, He really did have a spare ticket, Balthazar had cancelled a week ago but he was perfectly happy to go alone so why had he asked? Oh well, he supposed even he could do with a companion sometimes, he had made himself perfectly clear to Dean so he hoped this wouldn't confuse the poor man. But really was it so ridiculous to be friends with one of the men he was currently sleeping with? Castiel felt it wasn't even though it was a new experience entirely.

On the way to the game they drove in a comfortable silence, Dean wondering how he had managed to get to this position and Cas wondering, well pretty much the same thing. When cas said ticket's Dean hadn't realized how good they would be. 'The luxury of money' was the only though running through his mind at the experience of seeing a baseball game with Cas, from the Ferrari they drove there in to the front seats, it was all way out of Deans league but somehow Castiel made him feel a little bit more comfortable.

As the game drew to end, a man behind Cas yelled something crude to a women a few people over who was supporting the opposing team. Castiel felt the outrage sweep through his body, "Shut the fuck up", he calmly said turning to the insulting man who really looked as sophisticated as his words had been. The man looked shocked before he decided that Castiel was a posh twat that needed to turn around and mind his own bussiness before he got a fist through his delicate prissy face, and he proceeded to tell Castiel just that.

Dean looked on unsure as to whether or not he should jump in, but he had a feeling that that was not a welcomed action and from the look of disgust and anger on Castiel's face, perhaps it would not be needed. This was proved when in less than two seconds the man had a black eye beginning to form and the man that had given it to him was striving up the steps calmly whilst clenching and unclenching his slightly aching fist.

By the time Dean had caught up to him outside the stadium he could see the visible anger etched across Castiel's face. 'Dude thta was awesome!".

"No it was stupid and wrong but he deserved it so I will forgive myself".

"So why did you get so angry?", and that was when for some unbeknownst reason Cas proceeded to tell Dean of the story as to when he was young and his mother was insulted by his overly aggressive uncle and he never felt strong enough to defend her but had vowed to defend woever he could when it was required.

"And so now I will if I hear any comments like that not back down". When he was finsihed explaining he instantly felt that uncomfortable squirm of any sort of intimacy but masked it behind a mask of indifference.

"Cool", Dean replied and told him all about his favorite high school punches as they made their way back to the car. Some made Cas laugh, others made him disgusted at Dean's opponents action's. They carried onto lunch discussing some teenage memories, Cas smugly telling Dean about his days as and is adoring Fans, Dean telling him of his rebellious days that simply showed off his care-free attitude. It was light pleasant conversation that left both men feeling relaxed and a tentative bond of acquaintances was bred, it wasn't until Castiel got inside his home that he realised that none of it had revolved around sex. He was shocked, but strangely not regretful, he decided that yes he could be friends with Dean, nothing more of course, but friends who had mind-blowing sex he could manage with Dean. Quite easily in fact.

Or atleast that's what he thought
