Rogue was a worthy adversary as he pursued Gajeel like the Iron Dragonslayer was covered in honey and he had a sweet tooth.

Which…may not be metaphorical as some seriously believed that perhaps that WAS the thought process of the Shadow Dragonslayer, but no matter. Let's get back to the main point here.

Rogue was a worthy adversary. He was fast, nimble, most likely due to his record as a male ballerina-…I mean, one of the strongest mages in Fiore. Gajeel knew that he was not one to mess around with, in any definition of the word. Finally, he decided to pull out the big guns. He knew that this fight might end in injury which would be severely over exaggerated, so he would have to do everything in his power to live this fight out with no regrets.

In the heat of battle, he quickly turned his head to the side, staring at one thing in particular, somehow avoiding the dangerous blows that were aimed at him due to his own dancing lessons- ehem, training as a child.

One Miss Levy McGarden flushed bright pink, her heart racing, palms sweating as she grasped onto the rail. His sharp red eyes were focused in her direction. At the exact moment he had snapped his head toward her, she had called out his name in concern, hoping that he was okay despite the fact that he hadn't been hit. She leaned forward, eyes trained on him and he seemed to do the same, his head moving in her direction, staring at her lovingly.

She smiles, brightly, widely, so very happy that finally, Gajeel had noticed her and with such a kind, raw expression to top it all off. Her breath halts in her throat, she feels her heart skip a beat, and bites on her lower lip, fluttering her eyelashes, thinking that her charms had finally paid off and that he finally realized that he couldn't live without her as she couldn't live without him.

She leans more, her belly against the cool railing as she watches him dodge another blow with his impressive dance-erm…agility. Nonetheless, she throws him a sweet look, one that she hopes screams "Come get me, tiger!" before she sees his mouth open. She is so hopeful, knowing, just KNOWING that he was going to profess his undying love to her in the crumbling arena as he SHOULD.

She watched with bated breath...as he ate his shoulder armor, licking his lips and claiming that it was some quality metal. Her mouth drops open, her heart splintering as she sees him grin and tackle Rogue, who screams like the fanboy he is and instantly begins to try to cut off a lock of Gajeel's hair with his sword.

...Well, maybe one day they'll get a legit romantic moment.

Inspired by the Official Romance Thread over on MangaFox! My first parody, I'm half proud and half ashamed.

Which is always the feeling of success, in my personal opinion! (This is also my first drabble!) Don't take me seriously, I'm so sugar high right now! Lol
