Scripture 15

"Everything set up?"

"Yeah, they should come outside once it happens." A hand held receiver was in a hand as Kohza puffed on a cigarette.

"Go ahead." My eye moved to the mansion looking building before me as I had arms crossed.

"Sure thing, Boss." The button was pushed as I snorted out and the fountain behind us in the driveway blew up. Shouting was heard before the doors opened and guns were pointed to us and I waited as I heard a certain voice.

"Hold your weapons!" A smirk was upon that damned face as he walked down the stone steps. "An entrance you have made… and what interesting new scars."

"We need to talk." I told him with a glare and that damn shit eating grin appeared before he stopped with hand sin pockets.

"Would you like to come in?"

"No, here is fine." A finger shook at me as I noticed other people (mostly maids and butlers) moved inside and away from the business.

"You might want to come in." The smirk made me raise an eyebrow before he let eyes move to a second floor window. My eye followed before feeling my chest tighten and my teeth gritted.

How?!

"Do come inside, Zoro-boy."

"Tch."

"Roronoa." I raised a hand before doing a small movement and he nodded before moving back. My boots scuffed the ground as I moved to the orange haired male that moved inside.

How were they able to get to Luffy?!

Frustration rolled off of me as I was led to a small living space where he sat in an overstuffed chair and I stood on the other side of a coffee table. "Won't you sit?"

"I'm not here for your shit, Kaku."

"Sit." Eyes glared to me and this growl left me before realizing how much danger Luffy was in. Whilst gritting my teeth, I sat down in an overstuffed chair with arms crossed tightly. "It's interesting how we can make you do about anything as long as we have the boy captive." I tried to control my anger, but I was so livid with myself for not making extra precautions for my lover. "So why are you so bent on saying no?"

"Why are you so fucking bent out of shape for getting me to join you?" Humor found him as he chuckled out with a hand reaching for glass and he took a sip.

"People can never join us, they are recruited by us. Merely shows you are strong and a strong group wants you to join in." A hand found my face as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"So trying to kill me is supposed to make me run straight to ya?"

"Seemed to work…" I felt a headache coming on before I moved my hand back to grip my arm.

"Give me Luffy back."

"So you may run away again? No, the only way to get him back is to accept."

"You won't let me keep him…" This smirk found him as he stared to me and he chuckled with the glass finding a coaster.

"So you have me figured out…" My teeth gritted as I hated this all and suddenly my nerves and muscles became filled with adrenaline.

"ZORO!" The screech had me standing up quickly before I felt a barrel hit under my chin and press to my throat. He caught me off guard as I was more focused on the shout and he glared upon me.

"Move and I will shoot." My mind raced as I soon felt it blank out and I felt myself shift to move his arm and quickly flip him over. Shock found me at the action before I moved to the door and quickly rush down the hall with a hand to my ear.

"Blow it!"

"What?! You can't be serious!"

"Do it—hn!" The bullet scraped my arm and I heard another screech before I kicked down the door. A bullet found my shoulder, but I shifted into the room at the sight of Luffy on the ground.

The sight of blood on him made me lose it.

"How you feeling?"

"It still hurts." Brown eyes gazed up at me with slight worry as his hand found my face. "Are you still here?" I slowly blinked at him as I moved my hand to find his and hummed lightly at the feel of his warmth.

"I'm always here, Luffy…" I whispered as he still kept worried eyes at me.

According to him I completely lost it all when entering the room and it was like a demon came out of me. I had killed Lucci and Kaku with my bare hands as if I was wielding a blade in each. Just seconds after the building began to do its chain of explosions; I had carried Luffy off through fire like it was my friend. He was extremely startled after I came to myself before he finally succumbed to sleep when he realized I was okay. The wound he held had me contacting the only man I knew who could take on the challenge, much to my dismay, and my friends let me have my old room for us to stay in so no suspicion occurred. If we went to the hotel injured after such an explosion without the police knowing of who did it we would be a suspect. Of course they will inspect for quite some time, but I will be in a different city soon so I wasn't too worried.

"It was kind of scary, Zoro… seeing you like that." He whispered to me and this pain went through me as I closed my eye.

"I'm sorry…" The hand moved from my cheek and suddenly a body pressed to me. "You're not supposed to—!"

"Then hold me…" A huff left him as he held onto me and this smile found me as I held him. "I said you were scary, but don't mean I am going to stop loving you, stupid…" I could sense the pout on his face, so I kissed the top of his head.

"I only go into scary mode when I need to protect you." This soft giggle left him as he nuzzled his head against some more for comfort. Part of me wished I knew what exactly I did or what exactly happened to me, but it was okay…

It's over… Luffy and I can be together with peace.

"Ugh, I didn't expect them to have me work late… I'm sorry!" This angry look was at me before this pout puffed cheeks out.

"I was by myself!"

"I wanted to be there!" Arms crossed over a scarred chest as he wasn't wearing a shirt and had a towel around his waist, about to go shower. "Luffy, please, they have been overworking enough as it is and you know I can't deny them! I was lucky to get this day off!" Harsh breaths left me as I was trying not to get irritated since I knew he just wanted to spend time with me. When no reply left him, I moved closer with hands grasping hips to pull him to me and I began laying kisses on his forehead. "I'm sorry, some problems occurred, I really have been trying to get home earlier." Hands moved to grip my shirt and he leaned into me with a huff.

"No… it's okay… I know. I'm just so frustrated that they keep taking my Zoro time and you come home so agitated and tired…" The mumbles left him and I continued to hold him with arms fully around him now. My lips pressed to one spot as I closed my eyes before pulinng back lightly so I could kiss his lips. This groan left him as I soon deepened the kiss with his fingers moving to my hair and I pulled back. A tongue licked pink lips as he stared up at me and I let a hand rub his back.

"Let's take a shower and make it a date today; just you and me." I told him and a grin lit up his face, making me smile.

"Let's go to the carnival!"

The body left me with it bouncing on feet in anticipation and I stood there with a simple thought running through my mind,

I'm going to marry him one day, somehow, and in any way possible…
