Summary: reflections of the Vegas/Miami relationships

Catherine:
His eyes strike her as if he already knows her, and while she's sure he doesn't, she doesn't mind. She notices his slight smile at her slight joke at his southern girl, and resolves to have a few minutes' non-scientific conversation with him before the trip is over.
Horatio:
He could tell from her eyes that she'd led a life of interesting people. Not all good people, if his guess was correct. That was something he certainly knew his fair share about, and he wonders if he could be one more.
Calleigh:
She notes her boss's sell-referentiality, his smug seniority. She didn't even mind the joke at her expense; it was her boss's smile that remained in her mind. She was surprised his bathroom query flew with as little reaction as it got. But this woman, in general, she'd seen it before. Calleigh watched as she wrapped her boss snugly around the finger next to the one where her tech was perched. And Calleigh was almost convinced she did it unintentionally.
Speed:
"What do you think of Vegas?" he'd been asked.
"City or case?" he dead panned to an annoyed state. "Hope we can get enough to get the girl back."
"That it?" Eric snapped off a glove.
"Yeah." He waited. "What else?"
"You haven't noticed...?" Eric avoided looking at him.
"What?" he had to ask, as annoyed as interested.
"Sodium perchloride," was the strange response. He turned to see the woman - Willows? - just outside.
Warrick:
He had worried about the case, about the girl. About the evidence, about jurisdiction, about the feds. About the possibility of a pissing contest between Miami and Vegas labs and PDs.
He had worried about the flight (inherently but remotely dangerous), the hotels (inherently less than sterile). About transportation, the heat. J sun, the bugs, about time elapsed since the commission of the crime.
He had forgotten to worry about alligators.
And, he reflected later, as accustomed to it as he was, he had forgotten to worry about Catherine's effect on men.
