Tien Shinhan was meditating in the center of the Lookout. He needed to focus his mind, he knew it was only a matter of time before these Demons came to Earth. Goku and the others were gone. Now would be the best time invade the Earth with its main defenders gone. He remembered how smart Piccolo Daimaō was. He had took over the entire planet through his cunning. Destroying any martial artist just on the off chance they knew the Evil Containment Wave, showing up to the King's castle and destroying his personal guards to show his power, and then releasing all of the prison population to sow chaos and confusion. With the inmates running fear he would soak in the carnage to satiate his blood lust before going off and destroying each major province himself.

Tien actually helped with the prison cleanup after Goku had left. He felt responsible for not being able to stop this self titled 'Demon King' and wanted to make up for his weakness. He spent months helping the authorities tracking them down. He met some despicable criminals that made his stomach crawl. He may have been training to be an assassin, but there were some liens even he would not cross. Tracking down the scum had taken a lot of time and the only good thing from it was that it helped him hone his Ki sense as trying to find them all was difficult. The worst of the criminals could hide their intent perfectly so looking for someone with evil Ki when they were already emotionally detached from everything was tough.

He was stirred out of his meditation by Yamcha. "Hey it's been two hours like you said. So far nothing's changed, but I've noticed Dende's been getting tense. I think something's happening in Otherworld that he isn't telling us."

Tien's eyes furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean? Why would he hide something from us?" Tien asked standing up.

Yamcha shrugged. "He probably doesn't want to worry us. I don't blame him. This situation is just all kinds of crazy. It's like some crazy zombie movie. The dead coming back and trying to kill the living," he said chuckling.

Tien rolled his eyes in annoyance. Leave it to Yamcha to make a joke about this. "You know I should be mad at you, but we need to focus,"

"Well until it starts raining Demons I don't have to sing 'Hallelujah' right?" Yamcha said laughing.

"Yamcha are you trying to tempt fate? What's stopping the Universe sending them through some wacky wormhole to Earth?" Krillin called from to their left.

Both heads turned to find Krillin playing a card game with Android Seventeen. Both of them in a tense poker game with Androids Sixteen and Eighteen standing behind Seventeen. In Krillin's lap sat Marron looking at his cards. Based on the smirk Krillin was beating his brother-in-law.

"I don't get it..." Seventeen said tersely. "How are you beating me? It makes no sense! You must be cheating!" Seventeen accused.

The bald fighter laughed. "Hey I am not cheating! My wife can attest to that!"

Seventeen turned behind him and narrow his eyes at his sister. "Sis, are you helping him cheat by telling him my hand?"

She rolled her eyes. "Oh please if I was I wouldn't make it so obvious. It's not my fault you were always horrible at poker."

Seventeen threw the cards down in frustration. "I fold, you've won the past six rounds. You should try your luck in a casino. You might actually win big," he said giving the money he owed to his brother-in-law.

Android Eighteen rolled her eyes. "I've tried to, but he is against robbing a casino blind even though it would help us out," she grumbled.

Krillin laughed. "Sorry honey, you know I prefer to not tempt fate enough as it is."

He motioned for his daughter to get up. Marron stood up to go find Bra and eat more of the candy Seventeen had given her. Krillin stretched his legs out for a minute before standing up and walking to the other side of the Lookout.

He found Dende still standing in the same spot since the Saiyans left. He had taken up this spot to watch over the planet. Mr. Popo would occasionally bring him some water and would force him to drink. Dende had not gotten a lot of rest since he came back from King Yemma's Check-In Station. The attack had rattled him and he knew an attack was coming. He had spent most of his time looking over the planet and stretching his mind out for anything strange going on. So far nothing, but he knew something was coming.

"Hey Dende, how are you?" Krillin asked the young guardian.

The Namekian opened his eyes. The young Namek was exhausted. He had spent most of the time boosting the moral of the people he looked over. Humans normally didn't have any mental training so looking into their minds was easy for him. Despite most of their problems he would supply them small fractions of his energy to help them however he could.

"I've been better. I know that it's going to get rough so I've been helping the people however I can," Dende told him. He sighed and gripped the staff tightly as he leaned on it.

Krillin blinked. "How have you been doing that?"

The Namekian smiled. "I've been influencing their thoughts and trying to help them. For the sick and elderly I try to relieve them of their pain with small doses of my energy. Especially those that are dying..." he said slowly.

Krillin leaned in closer. "Is it really that bad?" he asked him.

Dende wearily nodded. "What I saw at the Check-In Station, I don't want anyone to die and go through that. It's difficult especially for the ones in immense pain. Trying to keep them alive so they don't face...what's waiting for them is..." he trailed off looking back down onto the planet.

"Wrong to keep them suffering? I know it's tough buddy. But...I think in this situation it's better than the alternative," Krillin finished for him.

Mr. Popo approached them both handing Dende a pitcher of water. The young Namek took it with a small thanks and greedily drank the cool water. The water felt refreshing down his parched throat. He handed the pitcher back to his attendant with a grateful nod.

The air temperature began to drop and Krillin began shivering. "Hey is it getting cold and harder to breathe?" he asked.

Dende frowned at this. While the Lookout was high in the atmosphere, he had some control over the temperature and air quality with his magic. Usually he was adjusting the air quality so everyone can breathe as if they were on the ground and he made sure it was never cold.

Behind him he heard the others commenting the same. His eyes furrowed in thought as he stretched his senses out. Something was wrong. He felt something sporadic. As if someone or something was searching for something. When he tried to focus on a location all it kept moving. The presence darting around the planet. Suddenly it stopped hovering above Central City.

He felt a giant shadow open up above the city. It sat there waiting maliciously over the city as if challenging someone to confront it. Dende waited in baited breath as he knew what was coming next.

The young guardian felt himself slammed across the floor by an invisible force as he felt the shadow open itself infecting the city unleashing itself on the city. Thousands of people crying in terror as it spread over the city.

"Dende!" Mr. Popo cried rushing to him. He knelt down and helped the young Guardian up. The others ceased what they were doing and looked at the pair. Dende got up and held his staff.

"Go to Central City...something is very wrong. I don't know how to describe it...it's just pure darkness. I've never felt anything like it. You all need to go," He said trying to catch his breath.

Tien stood up with Chiaotzu. "Everyone listen up! They're here. We need to get to Central City as fast as we can!"

"Even at our top speed it would take us fifteen minutes to get there!" Yamcha exclaimed.

"Perhaps I can help," Mr Popo's voice said. He snapped his fingers and his magic carpet appeared. He focused his power and the carpet began to expand itself able to fit a large group of people comfortably. "Take my carpet, it can get you outside Central City in five seconds. I had to compensate its usual speed to fit a large group of people."

Krillin blinked. "Wow, magic is awesome! Alright let's go everyone!" he said jumping on.

Tien turned back to the group. "Hold on we need some of us to stay here to protect the others in the Lookout."

"I'll stay here Tien you go on ahead," Chiaotzu said.

"I'll stay here as well. They won't be safer than with the World Martial Arts Champion!" Hercule shouted striking a pose.

"Well good to know we're safe with Chiaotzu then. If anything you can buy us a couple of minutes by distracting them Hercule." Bulma said with her mother and the Ox-King snickering behind her.

"Hey I'll have you know that I am the reigning champion Bulma. I dare one of those stinking Demons come up here and I'll take them all on single handedly!"

Ox-King froze and pointed at Hercule. "Oh no look out! There's one behind you!"

Hercule immediately got on his knees and turned around. "I'm sorry Mr. Demon sir! I was just kidding about all that! Please don't rip us all to shreds!"

He opened his eyes and saw nothing. The others laughed behind him. He stood up red in indignation. "I was gonna lure them in to a false sense of security! Now I have to come up with another trick if one actually gets here!" he said.

"I'm sure you can come up with something," an exasperated Tien said rolling his eyes while jumping on. "Chiaotzu if anything happens contact me and I'll come back. Everyone else let's go!"

"I'm going to grab Korin and Yajirobe real quick. It'll be best to have them up here," Yamcha said running to the edge of the Lookout and jumping off.

The Androids got on the carpet without a word. Marron ran to the side and hugged her parents for a moment before running back to Bra. They stood next to each other whispering before running off into the Lookout. Dende watched them for a second in curiosity before he heard shouting getting louder. He turned his head and saw Yamcha landing with a disheveled Yajirobe under one arm and Korin in the other.

"What part of I don't like flying do you not understand?" he told Yamcha.

"Oh shut up, it's not like you could have gotten us here. We're safer up here anyway," Korin said hopping down and walking over to Dende.

"So you know what's going on?" Dende asked him.

The wise cat nodded with a bow. "Of course young Guardian, I may not have your heightened abilities from your prestigious position. But I can feel something is happening on the Earth. Besides I don't want a repeat of what happened with Majin Buu and get myself killed by a random attack. We should have came up here two days ago when everyone else did."

Yamcha hopped on over to the carpet. "Alright let's get going! Yajirobe you help Chiaotzu and Hercule if someone finds you here,"

"What? Why do I have to fight? I didn't sign up for this!" the samurai said sweating bullets.

"You'll help or I'll make sure to cut down your food supply if we survive this!" Korin shouted over his shoulder.

"Alright fine, but I better get some food after this..." Yajirobe grumbled.

Android Seventeen stood at the front of the carpet. "So how do we get this thing to work?" he asked the genie.

"All of you just need to think of Central City and it will take you there," he said.

"So we just thi-" Krillin said before they all disappeared in a blink.

Dende turned back to the Earth and focused on Central City barely hearing a door close in the distance.

"think?" Krillin said mid blink. He noticed they weren't on the Lookout and was surprised. He saw a massive city in the distance and dark clouds above.

"Whoa Mr. Popo wasn't kidding! We're here, man I wish I had one of these," Yamcha said giving the carpet a friendly pat.

Tien jumped off and looked at the skies something slowly appear in the sky. A massive stone door faced parallel to the ground. Stone statues of grotesque Demons were carved on the side of the door. At the top were the carvings of what looked like Supreme Kais holding their hands out against the city. Lightning struck the top of buildings, the city began shaking from the pressure, and high winds picked up.

"We need to destroy that door. I have a feeling that if it opens we're going to face something from the depths of Hell," Tien said.

The temperature began to drop and they found they couldn't move. Something had entered their minds. Old memories began appearing in their minds. The Android twins saw their capture by Dr. Gero and the process of having their bodies cruelly experimented on, Tien saw Master Shen beating him for failing to not be detected in stealing food for himself, Krillin felt Frieza gorging him in his chest, and Yamcha felt the ghost of the Saibaman blowing itself up.

Android Sixteen began floating, but he didn't hear the others lift off from the ground. "What is it? What is going on?" he asked them.

None of them responded as he saw saw them shaking more and more. Android Seventeen grit his teeth in frustration, Krillin grabbed his chest heaving, Yamcha's eyes widened in fear as he stared at something in front of him, Android Eighteen asked someone to stop, to leave her alone, not to touch her, and Tien winced as if someone was striking his back.

As the seconds ticked by it got worse. Android Eighteen began to scream louder. Her brother grabbed her in his own delusioned state standing in front of her. "Don't touch her! Let her go! Take me instead!"

"Listen to me all of you!" Android Sixteen said. "It is an illusion, whatever you are seeing and feeling is not real!"

None of them heard him as they were lost in their own worlds. Android Sixteen turned back to the city and scanned the population. He could see millions of people running all over, but he was not sure if they were suffering from the same thing. He was not sure what to do. He turned in the opposite direction back to where he guessed the Lookout was.

"Guardian of Earth, your people need you. Something is affecting the Humans, even Seventeen and Eighteen are caught in this. Please help them!"

"Citizens of Planet Earth, I have messages for you all..." a deep voice echoed across the planet.

"Some of you may remember me as your old ruler King Piccolo. I have returned and now go by the title Piccolo Daimaō as I am now the true Demon King of Hell. To my children have your fun, only leave the government and scientific buildings untouched."

Android 16 looked at the door. If this truly was the Demon King about to launch his attack...then Goku and the others had failed.

In his throne room in Hell, Piccolo Daimaō held the crystal ball to his eyes. The orb made by the wizards allowed him to contact anyone in Otherworld or the mortal Universe. Focusing his thoughts on the Earth he was ready to begin stage three of his plan. He would burn most of the planet. He had promised to give it to Dr. Gero and the scientist agreed to the attack only that it wasn't completely razed to the ground. He did not want to start over from scratch as that would take time he did not want to waste. Using his telepathy he spoke again through the ball.

"To King Furry and his military army...you will not be spared," he said focusing the ball on the blue dog in his office. He was the only one that wasn't affected by the magic his own magicians had cooked up. Having these pathetic mortals relive their worst memories so it terrified them brought pleasure to him. However, he told them to leave the leader of the planet alone so he could watch as his planet died around him.

"And to the ones that call themselves the Earth's defenders..." the Demon King said focusing his crystal ball on the group outside the city. He knew they would pop up and made sure they were affected the most. A sickening smirk appeared on his face "I have already won."

"We have to do something!" Dende said at the Lookout.

"What can we do? Everyone in that city is in a panic! I can sense dark magic down there!" Baba said next to him.

"Is there anything we can do? Maybe shield the population from this?" Korin asked her.

She shook her head. "I can't shield so many people I'll only be able to shield a few from this."

Dende sighed. "Shield Krillin and the others. I will give you my energy. They need to put a stop to this. Hopefully we can help them."

Korin nodded. "I will do the same Baba. Right now we're out of options. It's the only chance we have,"

Baba summoned her magical ball and used her magic to focus on their warriors. Korin and Dende put their hands on the ball and slowly put their own power out to shield them.

Android Sixteen was torn he wanted to help his allies, but the human population was getting worse. The storms above the city was getting worse. He could detect lightning strikes hitting the streets and humans were disappearing from his sensors.

Suddenly the others stopped shaking. Android Seventeen stood next to his sister helping her up, Krillin rubbed his upper chest as the pain receded, and Tien light slapped his face as if testing if he was dreaming They looked around blinking. Before they could voice their confusion they heard a voice around them.

'I was able to shield you from most of this dark magic. Try not to stray too far from each other as I cannot keep track of you fighting. Korin and Dende are helping me, but we cannot keep this up forever,' Baba's voice said around them.

A deafening boom rocked the area as the ground shook. Android Seventeen fell to the ground with Yamcha landing on top of him. Krillin held onto Android Eighteen to not fall over. The ground below them split as the birds in the nearby trees took off into the sky.

"What the heck is going on?" Krillin asked.

Above the city the doors shook as if struck by a huge force. Something was trying to get through and the doors would not hold much longer. The citizens screamed in panic as the ground below them began rumbling. At his castle King Fury could only look out from his balcony in horror. His citizens were tearing each other apart. Mistaking each other for some unseen assailant. His men trying to get him evacuated, but he would not abandon his people to die.

The old King's nightmares were coming to life as he dreaded. Ever since that green monster took over he would sometimes have recurring dreams of his return, but he always played it up to his overactive imagination. He never thought it would happen.

'I have turned all of the Universe on its head by following the very rules the lords of the dead established and deposed of them,' the Demon King's voice reverberated in King Fury's mind.

'That's how weak these pathetic gods truly are,' The Demon King said getting up from his throne picking up the ball. He focused on the door hovering above the planet. Stretching out his power he willed it to slowly open.

'And when the dawn comes. When the Earth lies in ruin and I turn my gaze to the Universe beyond...' Daimaō paused as he took a deep breath to relish at how it was all coming together. He couldn't believe it was finally here. His victory stood before him and he would become the supreme ruler of the living and the dead.

'The legend of the Earth's mighty defenders will be worth nothing...at all!'

The doors opened and only pure darkness lay beyond. Everything waited in bated breath for the next move. Before anyone of the Human warriors could say anything thousands of lights were seen in the door and came hurtling down to the planet below. Thousands of dark masses came down raining fire onto the city. People ran as monstrous beings landed on the streets and began tearing people apart. Many children were eviscerated as they were engulfed in Ki attacks that burned them to ashes, women had their limbs ripped off and juggled in front of them as they drew their last breath, and the men had their skulls bashed to pieces.

Tien's eyes narrowed as he turned back to the others. "We have to act now! We can't afford any mistakes! We'll split into two teams. Yamcha, Krillin you're with me. We'll take care of the population down on the streets. Seventeen, Eighteen supposedly you have infinite energy and can't tire. Now's the time to see if that's true. Take Sixteen up to the door and blow it out of the sky! If you die, walk it off!" Tien shouted before taking off to the city.

"Three eyes knows I don't take orders from his right?" Seventeen asked his sister.

"Oh shut up it's a good plan. We need to focus on this," Eighteen said rolling her eyes. She walked over to Krillin and and kissed him. "Don't die again, I doubt your life insurance policy covers death by the demon spawn."

Krillin chuckled. "Don't worry, if I do kick the bucket I doubt anyone will be able to give it to you anyway as the planet will be destroyed. Be safe."

"Alright enough with the public display of affection let's take them down," Seventeen said with a grin. He rose off the ground with Sixteen. He turned back to Krillin and offered him a small thumbs up before blasting off into the sky.

Eighteen nodded at her husband and followed her brother. Krillin looked at Yamcha. The scar faced bandit was silent as he looked at the sky. More and more demons were invading. He didn't expect it to get this bad. He could feel people dying and it sickened him. For years he had been to weak to help the others and had given up training after Cell. But after Buu and this threat. He vowed to not let his friends down.

"Let's go Krillin. The people need us now more than ever. If Goku really has failed...then we're the last lines of defense and we can't fail," Yamcha said holding his fist out to Krillin.

The bald ex-monk walked up and gave him a fist bump with a smile. "We've been through a lot together old friend. Let's show these Demons what the Turtle School can really do!"

Their white auras ignited as small flames against the darkness above as they flew into the city to find Tien.

Tien flew around into the city as he fired multiple Ki blasts. Each on making contact with a Demon and knocking them off the people they were attacking. He saw a huge group ahead of him using humans as baseball bats and swinging them into the ground, shattering their skulls, blood spurting on the ground. The Demons laughed as nearby loved ones cried out for the shattered family members.

Tien raised his hands into a triangle as he focused on the main group laughing at the broken bodies by their feet. "TRI BEAM!" Tien cried.

The Demons turned to the voice in surprise as the last thing they saw was a concussive Ki attack hit them before they exploded into pieces. Ahead a group of thirty Demons saw their comrades explode and grinned. They weren't expecting much resistance as their superiors told them the people here were weak. They would have some fun after all.

Tien's stoic glare met their gaze. He rolled his shoulders to loosen himself up. He was ready for this. The Demons flew at him laughing at him. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a blue light come up behind him as a small smile grew on his lips. Two massive waves flew past his ears as they joined in front of him, combining into one massive beam as it vaporized the Demons. The beam then curved upwards into the sky as it went to opened door and hitting the massive wave flying down to the city. The blue wave exploded killing hundreds of Demons.

Tien turned to Yamcha and Krillin as they landed next to him. Both of them adopting the Turtle school battle pose. "It's about time you two showed up. I was beginning to think I would have had to deal with this myself," Tien said slowly getting into his Crane stance.

"Eh Yamcha just needed some coaching before diving into the deep end," Krillin responded with a laugh.

"Oh ha-ha. Let's show these overblown monsters not to mess with Humans!" Yamcha said charging ahead.

A massive ten foot reptile walked toward him with a grin. Blood dripping from his claws as his tail thrashed on the ground. The Demon bared his black teeth as his yellow eyes focused on Yamcha, determined to strike down this insignificant mortal. He would wear his skin like a pelt.

Yamcha only smiled at this behemoth. His aura behind him grew as he summoned his power. Behind him a visage of a giant feral wolf overshadowed him. "Neo Wolf Fang Fist" He brought his fist back as he punched the reptile straight through its chest.

The force of the blow sent him flying into his comrades. They only saw a giant wolf where the man once stood as it began jumping around them. They felt the teeth and claws of this massive wolf tear into them. One of them saw through the mirage and noticed there was no wolf and the technique the human used an illusion. Before the Demon could retaliate he was cut in half by a golden razor disk that sliced through him like bread. The rest were cut into pieces. Krillin jumped ahead tossing more Destructo Disks ahead to cut more down.

Around them many Demons sensed their fellows dying and began flying into where they felt the burst of resistance. Before Krillin could blink they were surrounded by hundreds of Demons. A massive wave closed around them as they were became trapped. Yamcha jumped to Krillin before holding out a pair of sunglasses. Krillin put them on without question and turned to Tien.

"We're getting swarmed, Tien can you provide some cover?" Krillin asked.

The martial artist nodded. He brought his arms to the side of his head while flying up to the sun. He angled his body in front of the dimmed sun that the door just covered. "NEO SOLAR FLARE!"

A massive white light lit up the area. The Demons cried out in pain as they rubbed their eyes in pain. Krillin and Yamcha held their eyes shut tight. They knew that over the years Tien made improvements to his technique. At this point they were surprised that the protection of the sunglasses still worked. They still saw a bright light through their eyelids and the shuddered in pain. Krillin still felt his disks flying off into the distance. He couldn't let them fade away so he raised his right arm out and directed them back to where he was. He could feel the energy of his opponents as they didn't bother to hide their power. The disks began cutting down the wall of Demons in front of him. Next to him he felt Yamcha raising his energy and felt an energy ball behind him.

"Super Spirit Ball!" Yamcha cried opening his eyes and throwing his attack in front of him. A small Demon got hit and it carried him up into the sky. He couldn't escape from the ball as his body was used as a battering ram to slam into the others knocking them over. This allowed Krillin to have his disks cut them to pieces.

Above them Tien began spinning while pointing at the Demons. "Dodon Ray!" multiple golden rays left his fingers as they drilled in the chests and leaving puncture holes. The Demons falling over like dominoes to the floor. Most of them were still rubbing their eyes and they couldn't even focus on trying to get out of the way.

The giant wave of Demons grew smaller as their numbers dwindled. Krillin finally opened his eyes and saw the streets littered with dead bodies. Most were cut in half from his attack. He looked up and saw the the wave of Demons decreasing. They needed to move or they would be pinned down.

"Guys we got to move! We can't be pinned down here or we'll get slaughtered! We need to constantly be on the move!" Krillin said rising up.

Yamcha nodded at him as he realized he was right. He sent a giant Ki blast ahead of him that eviscerated a bunch of Demons in front of him. Creating a hole for them to pass through.

"Come on let's get out of here!" Yamcha said flying through the hole at full speed.

Tien and Krillin quickly followed. They weaved around buildings blasting any Demon they came across. They heard a cry from below and saw a terrified little boy shaking his mother trying to snap her out of her delusion. A large golden beast taking up half the street held the mother's gaze. It sat on four limbs as it stared at the mother. His yellow eyes glowing with power. Next to the humans were two small imps pointing at the two. Laughing hysterically at the boy's futile attempt to help his mother. They danced around him scratching him, causing him to cry out in pain as he began crying. His mother stood still as a statue, staring ahead, unresponsive to her son being tortured in front of her. Her glossy eyes seeing something in the beast's eyes.

"Is that an actual dragon?! I thought the only dragons were the ones that grant wishes!" Krillin asked in shock.

"We need to get down there and help them!" Yamcha said diving down.

He felt his leg being grabbed by Tien. "Yamcha we can't just rush down there! We don't know what kind of magic that beast has! We need to come up with a plan first!" Tien told him.

Krillin thought for a second. "I've got an idea you guys distract that massive beast and I'll use my Destructo Disk to finish him off," he said creating another disk as it shinned above his hand.

"Tien grab the mother and child. I'll take care of the imps and distract the dragon before Krillin finishes him off," Yamcha told him with a nod. "I'll play the bait this time around. Just be ready," he said flying down toward the group at full speed.

"You're still rushing down there! This is barely half a plan!" Tien shouted to him. His voice fell on deaf ears as Yamcha flew down into the group. He slammed into one of the imps with a kick. As his kick landed he pushed off the imp and flew around the trapped people and punched the other imp in the face sending him flying after his friend landing in front of the monster. He turned to the dragon with a grin.

"Sorry lizard breath, but I'm going to have to cut your sick amusement short," Yamcha told the giant lizard. The beast merely huffed as smoke came out of its nostrils. Behind him he heard the boy shaking his mother as she seemed to groan in confusion.

The dragon turned its attention to Yamcha and stared at him. Before Yamcha could leap at the beast he felt himself go rigid as his mind went blank. He could faintly hear Baba's voice telling him to flee and not look into the dragon eyes.

The beast poured more of its power in its spell. All he had to do was hold the gaze of any mortal and they would fall under his control. The dragon was so focused on keeping Yamcha in place he didn't notice another coming and grabbing his first victims nor the golden light from the corner of his eyes.

The dragon felt pain for a split second before his neck was severed from his body. He head slowly dislodged itself from his body and the light in his eyes dimmed, breaking the spell. The body tumbled over as the head landed on its size, one eye looking at Yamcha before the yellow glow left its eyes.

Krillin landed next to Yamcha looking at him. Yamcha's eyes were glassy as he stared off into the distance. Krillin shook him trying to snap him out of it. "Yamcha snap out of it!" There was no response as he snapped his fingers in his face. Suddenly Yamcha shook his head and blinked.

"Whoa that was freaky. I just felt my mind drift off and couldn't move. It's a good thing that dragon could only do that to one person at a time. We'd have serious problems if it was more powerful," Yamcha said.

Suddenly the dragon's body was writhing on the ground. A strange lump formed at its neck as it expanded. Three stubs came out of the neck and the dragon's body got on its feet and was growing. Behind them they heard Tien landed and stared at the dragon. "I thought you guys killed that thing?"

The three stubs shot out from its severed neck as three heads took the place of the original. They looked down at its first severed head with a sickening grin before turning back to its attackers. The dragon's body mass increased in size as it grew. The small buildings crushed under its new body size. It took one step forward as it crushed the two imps that were still unconscious from the attack. Blood gushed from its foot from the broken bodies. Despite the increase in size. The beast's power barely rose and they realized that it was the magic that dragon had that made it dangerous not its power.

Krillin took a step back. "Okay this is bad. I didn't think that it would just grow more heads. What kind of monster is this?"

The snout of the middle dragon began smoking as the other heads opened their mouths and Tien could see an red energy forming in the back of its throat.

"MOVE!" Tien shouted at the two grabbing them and taking off into the sky.

The dragons fired a red energy attack encompassed by fire that destroyed the city block, burning the ground. The attack consumed three city blocks as the dragon heads turned up to have the attack follow the three flying humans. Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin flew in different directions trying to dispel the attack. However, the heads merely split the attack with the fire following Yamcha and the energy attacks following Tien and Krillin. They weaved around buildings and through the streets trying to get away from the attack. But, no matter what they did the couldn't get away as the dragon was determined to finish them.

Tien flew back to the dragon with an idea. He charged up his energy in his both hands. He flew close to the dragon as he extended his finger with a shout "DODAN RAY!"

The golden beams soared from his fingers and slammed into the beast's eyes. The dragon heads ceased their attacks as one slammed its head into the ground trying to rub its others hissing at Tien's retreating figure.

He flew to the others. "Aim for the eyes. We have to blind it first otherwise it'll just keep attacking us. After that I'll hit it with everything I have so it can't come back. Once it's gone we have to move or we'll be swarmed again," he told the others.

Tien flew up and brought his hand in his signature triangle shape. He was gonna end this monster before it got out of control. They only had another minute before the Demons would sense him and try to stop them.

Krillin and Yamcha started flying to the dragon's heads. The two other heads hissing and biting at them. Both of them brought up small blue energy spheres in each hand and launched it at the dragon. All four attacks a blur to the massive beast as they slammed into the dragon's eyes. Each of them exploded from the attack. The dragon threw itself to the ground in pain as is snapped in the air trying to find the fighters.

Above Tien focused on the beast as his eyes zoomed in on the beast. He gritted his teeth in concentration as he launched his attack. "TRI-BEAM!"

A golden light flew from his hands and shot through the sky. Krillin and Yamcha barely getting out of the way as it soared through the air, hurtling down at the dragon. The attack hitting the dragon slamming it in the ground as it was buried by the attack. An ear piercing shriek hit the air as the golden light in the ground exploded shaking the area. The dragon's life force dissipated as it was burned to ashes by the attack.

Tien heaved air for a moment. Krillin and Yamcha stared down where the dragon once was. They waited with baited breath to see if it would rise up, but after a minute they still felt nothing. However, many powers were converging on their location. They had to move quickly to not get caught.

"Awesome job Tien! Looks like the dragon was nothing like Cell or Buu. Its ability to regenerate was minimal!" Yamcha said with a thumbs up.

Suddenly Tien felt his something grab onto his wrists and he felt himself getting weaker. He tried turning to face his attacker but was met with a swift headbut and he fell into the street below. His body scraping the concrete as it slid down the street. His eyes blurry as he felt more exhausted.

Yamcha's eyes widened in shock as he saw a large figure staring down at them. The assailant's cold white skin reflecting the dying light of the sun, two earrings dangled from its ears, a distinctive red logo on its chest as its soulless eyes stared down at them.

"Fighter identified as Tien is down, engaging combat with fighters known as Yamcha and Krillin," A shrill robotic voice came from the figure as it flew down at the fighters.

Far above the city the Androids were flying and picking off any demons in the air. Android Seventeen and Eighteen flew next to each other obliterating any Demon in their way with quick ki blasts. Sixteen preferred the direct approach and smashed the skulls with his punches as he guarded them from being swarmed. The odd thing was that they were mostly being ignored. Despite making quite the ruckus most of the invaders ignored them unless they made direct eye contact.

"Do either of you find it strange that they seem to be ignoring us? Unless they make eye contact with us it's like they aren't aware that we're here," Android Seventeen said chucking white energy balls at the Demons about to grab him. "Do you think this is from what that witch Baba is doing?"

"I do not believe so. Her magic is not affecting me as I do not have a human brain. I believe they are so consumed with their bloodlust they can't focus on anything besides attacking the population below. These Demons seem disorganized and are not acting in organized units. I'm not sure they have any real orders besides what their king told them to do," Android Sixteen responded.

Android Eighteen huffed in annoyance as one tried to grab and bite her leg. She kicked the Demon squashing its head. "These Demons seem more interested in biting people than fighting. This is getting more annoying," she turned around and aimed a finger at the kicked Demon. She fired an energy beam into its chest and sending it flying into three others.

They heard a noise above as the door began closing on the invading army. From what Sixteen could see there were still countless Demons waiting trying to get through the closing door. The unlucky got ones didn't make it as they were squashed by the heavy doors and. The door began fading away from the evening sky. Hundreds of thousands still littered the sky. None of them seemed to notice it was gone.

"Okay why would they cut off their own invading army? I thought this was an invasion that seems counterproductive to their goals," Seventeen commented.

Sixteen's sensors went off as they warned him over hundreds energy beams were coming into their direction. Individually they were insignificant, but as they got closer the yellow lights all converged into one massive beam. Seventeen saw the bright light behind him and flew in front of Sixteen. He raised his arms up and a green barrier covered the three of them just before the beam hit.

Across the sky a green bubble flew across the city before slamming into skyscrapers and exploding in a ball of light. The top of a skyscraper was cut in half from the bubble shredding through it like a hot knife through butter. Slowly the building teetered for a moment before falling on its side and slamming into the streets below. Smoke and dust kicked up into the air blinding everyone. People tried to run from the massive smoke cloud as it spread across the district. Fires erupting all over the city block and massive pile of rubble was left from the top half of the building.

From the rubble three figures came out out from the wreckage. The giant red haired man pushed the slabs of concrete and steel away for them. The top half of his green jacket destroyed as he tried to push the rubble off of him. He turned and held his hands out to help two people behind him. Both of them stood up with dirt and scratches covering the young man and woman. Their clothes tattered and ripped up. They looked around at the carnage. Bodies littered the street, most of them covered in dust. Seventeen saw the remains of a small boy next on his left. His head punctured through by a small steel pole. Nex to to him was stuffed toy, its arms pointed up at him as if trying to get him to move. His hands shook in rage. Around him people were calling out for their loved ones. He heard a cry and saw a man crawling to the dead boy next to him. The man's legs were crushed and bent in odd angles. His tears falling as he cried for his son.

Suddenly two thin red beams shot through the cloud of smoke and slammed through multiple people. It weaved in and out of them. Seventeen raised his left hand in desperation trying to create another barrier, but was a second too late as a beam tore through the man's throat. Blood spurting across his body as he fell, his hand missing his son's body as he fell before him. A gargle from the man's throat as he tried to call out the boy's name.

"At last I have found you my rogue creations," A familiar voice called through the smoke.

Seventeen and Eighteen's eyes widened as they looked beside them. The smoke cleared as a familiar shape stood before them. The old man's blue eyes came into view as he stared at them. His white hair billowing from the wind, his massive hat keeping his hair in place, and his hands sitting in his pockets. Underneath his boot was a woman trying to crawl away from him. He sneered at the twins in contempt as both took a step toward him. Behind them Sixteen looked on at the old man in silence as he recognized his own creator.

"It has been a long time my failures. It is time for you to pay for your insubordination from all those years ago," the old man said stepping off the woman. Weakly she tried to crawl behind the old man. She barely crawled two steps before a large green foot came out of the smoke and crushed her head like a grape. The figure walked forward barely noticing that it killed someone. Next to the doctor stood a large green dragon, two horns stuck out from the top of his head that spread out from his skull, his wings spread out from his body with spikes at the top, and his claws were red with blood. The dragon looked on at them in boredom.

"I will leave you to deal with them. My orders were to only help you find these three. What happens now is all on you. I must go with my brother to deal with my other task," The green demon said turning to him.

"Yes, yes I am aware of your orders. I would like to thank you for helping me find them. Most of your other 'soldiers' are incapable of focusing beyond their insatiable bloodlust. If you are ever in need of my services please stop by after the planet is mine," Dr. Gero said to him nodding.

The dragon rolled his eyes. "Sure doc, if I lose a limb I'll be sure to visit you. If you fail don't expect any help from me," the dragon said using his wings to fly off into the sky. Android Sixteen watched him go as he saw dozens of Demons follow him up into the sky. Before he could verify there identification of the dragon from his stored files he heard a chuckle.

"I must admit I have been looking forward to this. I have come up with many ways in free time to properly dispose of you. But, which one to would be the most effective?" Dr. Geek asked them.

"If you think we're still the same teenagers you kidnapped and experimented on think again Doc! We will stop you!" Seventeen told him.

"Still as unruly as ever Number 17! No matter I will beat respect into you before I disassemble you from the inside out," Dr. Gero said before turning to his sister. "And what of you my dear? I see motherhood has dulled your tongue. Perhaps I should remedy that by disposing of your daughter?"

Eighteen's eyes widened in rage and she snarled. "You will NOT lay one finger on her! I will rip out your mechanical heart and shove it down your throat!"

"The fact that you chose to breed with a human, much less one of my enemies is something I cannot tolerate. I will make sure her soul is eradicated after she is sent to the afterlife," the old man smiled darkly.

Eighteen roared in rage and charged at the old man. Her brother a step behind her as they flew to surround the old man. Sixteen was about to join them, but he noticed the doctor's hands shift in his pockets and that his smile never left his place.

"Seventeen, Eighteen stay back!" Sixteen cried out to them. His cries went unheard as they approached each with a fist raised to strike the side of Gero's head. When they were merely inches away they suddenly froze in mid air. Eyes widened in shock as they fell to the ground unmoving with a heavy crash. Their eyes going blank as they stared right at Dr. Gero's feet.

The doctor's smile widened as he took his hands out of his pockets. Two small remotes with each button pressed firmly. "A good scientist learns from his mistakes. Did you really think I would fight an exhausting battle against you? Especially when I know exactly how to shut you down?" he asked the fallen forms at his feet. He sneered at them before kicking them both in head having them roll in front of Sixteen. The giant android stared down and saw the fear in their eyes from their deactivation.

"When I'm finished here I may feed you again to Cell so you will suffer for eternity and increase his power. However, I doubt he would want you as his perfection has surpassed my wildest expectations and you insignificant ants would do nothing to satisfy his quest for more power," the mad doctor said putting the remotes back in his pockets

He focused his attention to Android Sixteen and for a second he looked sad as if he remembered a terrible event before he spoke. "It is good to see you again number 16 and I do mean that sincerely," Dr. Gero said in a strained tone. The giant android said nothing and only looked on.

Android Sixteen only had one memory of his creator. It was in the last days of his construction where Dr. Gero was finalizing the final software updates into him. Despite the doctor's attempts to instill a desire to kill Goku in a populated area for all to see, the gentle giant had refused on the grounds that such a destructive fight would hurt other humans and the animals in the area. This response visibly pained the doctor and he muttered about how Sixteen was 'just like him' and was told he would be shut him down to fix the errors. The next time he woke up he saw Trunks standing over his pod and introducing himself. From there he worked with the young Saiyan to help rebuild the world.

"Dr. Gero you may be my creator, but I will not let you destroy the planet. I have sworn to defend it in one timeline and I will hold that promise in this one," Sixteen told him solemnly.

The doctor was unfazed by this and slowly nodded. "I had a feeling you arrived with the alternate version of Vegeta's son. I had to rebuild Android 19 from scratch in Hell which took me decades to do with the limited resources in that insufferable pit. Unlike myself and the twins at your feet you are purely mechanical and do not have a soul. Once the planet is mine I will be able to turn myself in a true android and live forever. No relic of my mortal shell shall remain," his creator informed him.

"I would gladly trade everything you gave me for the soul you abuse for you own selfish desires. I understand now that you will never see past your own megalomania and desire for revenge. Know that this fight is only because I must stop you as words will not dissuade you," Android 16 said leaning forward.

A small smile and huff came from the old man. "I really did everything in my power to make you like him…" Doctor Gero trailed off for a moment before he shook his head. His blue eyes hardened once more as he stared at him. " Very well if that is your choice so be it."

Around them the world seemed to quiet down. None of the two combatants could hear the screams of the people around them as they focused on each other. Sixteen was cautious about fighting his creator. Dr. Gero was a genius and had a very long memory. While it didn't look like he had a remote to shut him down, he still knew Sixteen's weak points.

Dr. Gero charged ahead punching Sixteen. The android barely had enough time to raise his arms to cover his face when the attack slammed into his arms. The old man pressed his attack by continuing punching at Sixteen's face. The giant felt himself being pushed back. Behind him he heard shouts of people trying to get out of the way.

The old man brought his fist back, but then felt a massive headbutt as Sixteen slammed his head into his creator's skull. The old man staggered for a moment which his opponent took advantage of by kicking him in the stomach and launching him into the sky. Sixteen aimed his fists as they flew from his hands leaving a rocket trail as they slammed into the doctor's stomach and sending him further in the sky. Sixteen took off after sparing a glance at the fallen twins, hoping the Demons would not notice them and tear them to pieces.

Dr. Gero flew farther up into the sky as the rocket fists did not cease in carrying him away from the city. The old doctor summoned the strength to painfully roll to the side as the fists kept going up. He watched as the booster in the rocket gave out and they fell back to the planet. He looked down and saw the cuffs of Sixteen glowing at his direction. The doctor smiled as he held his palms out toward him as Sixteen fired two energy bullets at him. The bullets soared through the air as they bounced off each other. His rocket hands flew around the small energy blasts and turned to reattach back to his wrists. As he focused on the reattachment of his hands the bullets smashed into each other combining into one orb as they hit the old man's hands.

A faint red light glowed through the massive white orb as it tried to drill its way through his hands. However, the orb became smaller as the seconds passed as it disappeared into Dr. Gero's hands.

Sixteen stopped in his tracks as his eyes widened in confusion. He didn't expect the attack to do nothing. Why did it disappear in his creator's hands? Did it have to do with the faint red light in his palm?

"Thank you number 16, your contributions to make me stronger are highly appreciated!" Dr. Gero called out.

The old man flew down at faster speeds than Sixteen anticipated as he flipped his body around and landed an axe kick to Sixteen's neck. The giant android fell through the sky to the ground at high speed. His eyes shut in pain as he tried to stop himself. He was able to slow himself down to scrape across the top of a building and stop from falling into the streets below. One eye opened as he looked around. Dr. Gero had vanished which caused difficulties as an android he did not produce any energy for Sixteen's scanners to find. Both of them could go on all day playing a cat and mouse game trying to wear each other down.

He painfully got off and and adjusted his scanners for any change in wind speed or sounds that did not emit any energy. The last thing he needed was his scanners mixing up the Demons with his main target.

He leapt off the building and flew to the center of the city. Flying at fast speeds so the Demons raining from above would not notice him. He needed a better plan to stop his creator. He was at a serious disadvantage in this fight. He had to think in ways Dr. Gero would not anticipate his programming to produce.

His sensors went off warning him to duck as he turned and saw a kick aimed at where his head had been. He turned around and shoulder checked into the attacker. Dr. Gero falling back a couple of feet before charging once more. He ducked under Sixteen's punch as he grabbed him by the leg and threw him to the ground below. Sixteen bounced off the ground as he felt the old man's kees strike into his back as he cried out in pain.

"It did not have to be this way Sixteen, you could have stood at my side and together we would have molded the world in perfection," Dr. Gero said over his shoulder.

Android 16 turned his head so he could look into his creator's eyes. "Your idea of perfection is to turn this planet into one soulless city, where you suck up the beauty of the Earth to fuel your twisted desire for conquest! I would never join you," Sixteen said through gritted teeth.

He felt his jacket green jacket torn off as Doctor Gero started to strike at his back. Each blow seemed to dent his body. "You are nothing more than another failure for me to fix. Do not worry I will find a use for you. Perhaps I will use your body as the basis for a new army of androids that are loyal only to me," Dr. Gero said.

Sixteen painfully rolled over in between Dr. Gero's strikes. His fingertips shifting to the side as they opened to show barrels in his fingers. The old man blinked in surprise as this was not part of his designs. He raised his hands to cover his face to defend against the attack. However, instead of hitting the old man with Ki blasts, he felt bullets bounce off his body that pushed him back. The bullets did no damage as they were only an annoyance in that the force from impacting him just pushed him back. They weren't even hitting vital points on his body. Only focusing on his thighs and lower abdomen area. He braced himself and walked forward through the hail of bullets. He brought his foot back to hit Sixteen in the face, but the giant pushed himself up into the sky and landed on his feet a little farther away. His fingertips re-attaching themselves as Dr. Gero's eyes narrowed at his creation.

"I see my alternate self made some different modifications for you. Although it pains me to question his genius in giving you the ability to shoot bullets when their are highly ineffective against the fighters I built you for. Not to mention your aim is inaccurate as you did not focus on vital weak points."

Sixteen only smiled at him. "My goal wasn't to do serious damage just to halt your advance. I still accomplished my goal," he said pointing to Dr. Gero's pockets.

The old man followed the giant's finger to his pocket. He reached in and felt the controller smashed to pieces. He took the busted controller out and checked the other pocket feeling it broken as well. He grumbled in frustration as he emptied his pockets. "Destroying the remotes means nothing. They were not designed for you so your worry over them was pointless," Dr. Gero told him.

Sixteen's small grin did not leave him. "I never said I was destroying it for myself."

Dr. Gero felt a fist connect with his right cheek as he went flying to the side. His brain couldn't even process being blind slided before he was hit again with a powerful kick sending him backwards through buildings into the distance away.

Sixteen watched his creator's body fly through the streets thankful he did not hit any of the people running in terror. He turned to his comrades. "We should intercept him so he does not attack any more people. I want to limit the carnage as much as possible," Sixteen told his companions.

The old man landed painfully in the side of the building denting the structure. He was there for a minute in shock. His sensors hadn't picked up any attackers. The attackers were far too strong to be Earthlings, not to mention they emitted no Ki energy when their blows landed. He peeled himself off the building and saw Sixteen landing in front of him with two others. The doctor's eyes widened in anger and shock at the sight before him.

Dr. Gero's eyes widened in rage as he pointed at them. "How are you reactivated? The shutdown switch should have left you offline unless I reactivated you!"

"Come on doc, we knew you guys were coming for months. You're not the only genius on Earth you know. Thankfully Bulma and her father still had the copies of the plans that future boy took from your lab years ago. She made her own shut down switch and we were able to have it write a code where we're only shut down for a couple of minutes at most when one is used on us. We just needed Sixteen to destroy your remotes so you wouldn't keep spamming that button on us. It'd be annoying for us to keep falling from the sky and crashing into the streets below. We could actually get hurt since we're completely immobile and falling from a massive height could kill us if we're not careful," Seventeen told him wagging a finger.

Dr. Gero's eyes darkened. "I am the greatest scientific genius of the world! No one, especially the owners of Capsule Corporation comes close to me. You only prolonged your suffering as now you will feel everything I will bring down on you. These games are over!" he thundered at them.

"Okay no more games," Eighteen said cracking her neck.

"Intercept mode complete," Sixteen said with a long sigh.

Seventeen took a step forward as he pointed at the old man. "This is the end of the line doctor!"

Dr. Gero huffed in anger as his eyes glowed yellow. "Enough of this! Sixteen, Seventeen, Eighteen time to face the genius of your maker!"

Suddenly across the city two demons flew across the sky and landed next to Dr. Gero. Their faces like tormented hawks, gaunt and sallow as their glazed expression bore into the Seventeen and Eighteen. Their shriveled bodies had multiple cuts, their arms had claws instead of fingers. Both dislocated and had grey lumps on their elbows. Their legs bloody stumps as black blood dripped out from the holes in their legs.

Dr. Gero smiled as he raised his hands to their chests. The red light shining from his his palms. His artificial skin losing wrinkles as they receded from his face, his small hunch leaving as he stood up taller, his hair, and mustache changing color as they became a dark brown. The Demons crying in pain as the lifeforce drained from their bodies.

"Oh no you don't!" Seventeen shouted firing an energy volley at them. Dr. Gero smiled as he raised a barrier that that rebuffed the attack. The Demons glowing a bright yellow as they faded away into Dr. Gero's palms. The red lights on his palms turning yellow as a bright yellow light exploded destroying them barrier. The light forcing the twins and giant to shut their eyes.

After a minute the light died down. Gone was the old, hunched over man. Before them was an early middle aged man. His brown hair and mustache blowing in the wind, his blue eyes brighter as they cut across to his creations. Sixteen's sensors were going crazy as they were trying to figure out what happened to the two Demons that were next to him. He stood tall and smiled at his opponents with a sinister grin.

"You'll have to forgive me for being so vain, but I'd rather not be reminded of the failure you made of me once I destroy the three of you. I always thought I was at the height of my genius just before the fall of the Red Ribbon army," Dr. Gero said.

Sixteen stood silently as he was focused on Dr. Gero's hands. Something was off...he could sense the life energy in the doctor's hands, but it would cut off going up into his wrists. "What are those things on the palms of his hands?" Sixteen asked.

"The old man figured it would be easier to turn himself into an energy absorption model instead of an infinite energy model like us," Eighteen told him. "My guess is that he thought his advanced age would not survive the procedure. So he created Android 19 to assist him in turning into an absorption model. That heavy hat on his head hides his brain."

Sixteen was silent for a moment. He knew that his creator wanted to be an android as he mentioned it before his final deactivation. What he didn't expect was Dr. Gero taking his brain out and putting it into a different body. "This would explain how he became stronger after my attack earlier. But, the red orbs are now yellow and I can still detect the life force of those demons earlier,"

"Yes thanks to working with the wizards I was able to upgrade myself in ways thought possible. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that magic would help advance my goals," Dr. Gero said slowly flying forward.

Before they could blink the old man rushed through the twins and kneed them in the stomach. Sixteen barely saw the attack and jumped back having the attack miss. Seventeen and Eighteen staggering forward from the blow as they tried to gather their breath. They could barely breathe from the attack as they slowly turned back to Sixteen and Dr. Gero. This fight was going to take much longer than they thought.

A large green dragon flew in front of a massive group of demons. His large wings flapping as he tore through the sky at high speeds. The destination implanted firmly in his mind's eye from his father. He would have his vengeance for the one that killed him all those years ago. He could feel him at the place he was leading his group to. His relayed his master's orders to his group. While most of them were beyond crazy they knew not to go against the commands of their lord. They could feel the overwhelming hatred from their master even on the mortal plane. His iron will driving them forward in their task. The force sent to terrorize Earth was not even a real 'army'. The blue planet seemed insignificant to the Demon King now when the realm of the dead was in his grasp. Most were mindless imps and grunts that were too weak to join in the main army assaulting Otherworld. Their lord let them loose to get rid of the tension of being idle for so long, but they were warned not to utterly destroy the planet as he was giving it to the mad scientist.

Next to him flew his brother Bass whom he was told to listen to until the campaign was over. His father threatened him with torture to not undermine his brother. Bass was one of the few children of the Demon King that no one got along with. He was constantly bemoaning that he was never taken seriously and how he should be father's right hand and not some brain washed traitor.

Unlike his other children that were made for fighting, reconnaissance, or planning Bass was one of the unlucky few that was an 'experiment' of his father in trying to create a new breed of fighters in his first conquest of Earth. He was thinner than Tambourine and lacked the wings to fly. He had to learn Ki flight in Hell over the centuries as their father refused to share the secrets to any of his offspring. His three lower teeth coming out of his lower lip, he looked mostly humanoid as he lacked any of the usual green scales, and small green feet. Their father had wanted to try and create a breed of children that could be used as better spies on the Humans. The wings were a dead giveaway and couldn't fit in small spaces. However, Bass still stuck out as none of the Humans would trust as his fangs were a dead giveaway. His constant failures had him turn to strategy and general fighting. He learned from the beatdowns his siblings gave him that while he could come up with many strategies in a fight to beat an opponent, he lacked the physical power to do it. So he turned to directing his mind to directing troops where to go. Unfortunately his death from the monks that would entrap his father cut his dreams short. Centuries later his father approached him with the task of getting the Dragon Balls from this planet and performed an arcane ritual to sacrifice another Demon's soul to grant him life. The ritual left him weaker as he had to sacrifice the strength he gained while fighting in Hell to the level he was at when he died. This was fine though. He enjoyed being able to leave Hell unlike his other siblings.

"Everyone knows the plan!"" Bass shouted over the winds. "All of them are free pickings to torture and kill, but the young Guardian is to be brought in alive and unhurt. Our master requires him to pry control of the Dragon Balls from him and cannot do that if he is dead!"

The Demons behind him did not respond. Most of them either twitching uncontrollably or just staring past him. He sneered at them, he hated that he got stuck with the worthless worms that had the mental capacity of infant. However, his father promised him that he would lead real armies out into the Universe when everything was over.

Bass turned to his brother. "It really is sad that you're the only one I can trust to not screw this up. Take your revenge quickly then focus your attention on keeping them in line. I will not tolerate failure."

The large dragon rolled his eyes in annoyance. This was the price you pay for becoming in charge. Your troops fail and you bear the brunt of the punishment. Yet Bass wanted to have all of the perks, but none of the responsibilities. He turned back to a growing object in the distance and grinned as their target came into view. He could feel the people at his target scrambling in panic. A dark grin lit his face as he could already fill the fresh blood on his claws.

*Jason9000: Hey everyone sorry this chapter took so long. This part was a drag for me to do. I had to keep going back and looking up the moveset of the different fighters. I won't lie it's easier when the chapters focus on the big bads and Saiyans as they have had more screen time and more moves. The Humans are more challenging as most of their moves fit more in Dragon Ball than Z/GT/Super. But, I find the challenge more enjoyable as it helps me to think of different ways around the problem. I made a couple of references in this chapter and I'm interested if anyone catches them. Some of you may notice that I don't type out the words '16, 17, and 18' when Dr. Gero speaks. This is more to show his contempt to his creations as in his mind's eye they are failures and having the words appear is one of the few words to convey this in a story. As I stated above I moved into another country and got a new job. So writing long chapters like this with action takes more time. Well hope you enjoyed, until the next chapter.*
