A New Feeling Chapter 35: Extra, a fairy tail fanfic

Not long after their little dance. It isn't much but, I needed to get away from all this thinking. (NaLu and Gale in this one~) It's not that long, warning to you all ^.^"

Extra Chapter (Yay~)

A break from school was exactly what Natsu was looking forward to. It wasn't the longest break, sadly, but it was enough for him to have some time to spend with Lucy. But it seems like fate had other plans. Erza and Mira decided to hold a little karaoke party. She invited everyone. Natsu noticed the sparkle in Gajeel's eyes and groaned. The guy wasn't a terrible singer, but he was obsessed with singing once someone hands him the mic. Hopefully everyone would get a chance before a fight broke out. At first he didn't want to go. But Erza, although not threateningly, gave him a creepy grin and asked ever so politely to come. Seeing her mad was one thing. Seeing her with a creepy smirk was another. A happy Erza was a scary Erza, scarier than when she was mad.

Which is why he was standing in the karaoke room right now, sitting at a table with Lucy. Alone. Gray and Juvia at another. Erza and Jella, Levy and Gajeel. A table for the Strauss family. And practically half the school. Mira went overboard with the invitation. People sang, danced even. But Natsu and Lucy kept to themselves. Natsu mainly because he didn't want to get involved. Lucy, because well, she was embarrassed. Being alone at a table with her boyfriend was one thing, the possibility of being asked to sing was another. Natsu caught the look of distress on her face and smirked. Leaning across the table he pecked a kiss against her lips. He caught sight of Gajeel making his way over to the mic, and before Lucy had the chance to say something he stuck a small strawberry in her mouth and smiled.

" I'll be back." He said and got up. He started to walk, but turned around and picked up Lucy from her seat, " Actually why don't you come with me." Lucy followed willingly. Natsu let go of her hand and ran up to Gajeel tackling the microphone from his hand. Gajeel growled and grabbed the second one that sat on the table beside them.

Lucy watched as Natsu and Gajeel spoke. Gajeel smirked saying something, while Natsu glared not looking to happy. As the appeared to have agreed on something Natsu slammed the table beside them, motioning for whoever was in charge of the music. Gajeel punched Natsu's shoulder, and started to speak to the guy behind the table.

" Strange seeing them working together," Gray said joining Lucy who was just standing in the middle of the crowd near the front where Natsu left her.

" Yeah, I wonder what their going to sing."

" Something funny I hope."

The music started up. It wasn't a funny song. No Lucy knew this song. Thinking of it made her face flush. It wasn't exactly the song that made her turn red, it was the thought of Natsu singing it to her. Lucy watched the two get back to their spots. Natsu smirking as Gajeel started to sing.

Cause you are on my mind" People, especially Gray laughed and cheered for Gajeel. Natsu took the next part.

"I want to be best

I want to be the gravity in your universe in Mars
I want to be there to help you fly"For the first time, Lucy noticed other girls fawning over him. And the first time she noticed that Natsu, was actually quite a good singer. He never sang before.

That I can't get you off my mind"Just as Gajeel had done Natsu pointed at Lucy. She felt Gray nudging her arm smirking. Natsu and Gajeel starting walking down to the crowd of people. Only going opposite ways.

' Did they plan this out or something?' Lucy thought, 'Their totally in sync. '

If I can't get you off my mind"Natsu grabbed Lucy and twirled her around. Lucy noticed Gajeel had Levy, only they weren't dancing, but simply staring at each other.

Natsu planted a kiss on Lucy as they finished their song. Lucy returned it, wrapping her arms around his neck. She pushed him back grinning, stealing his mic from his hands. Natsu smiled and yelled to the others.

" Hey guys! Lucy decided to sing!" Most of her fan boys shouted in joy and watched as their popular maiden made her way down. She quickly glanced at her best friend who caught her eyes, the smirked to each other understanding completely. It was their turn. Even though Lucy was completely embarrassed she dared not lose to her pink haired idiot of a boyfriend. Levy was nervous. She was walking back and forth. The crowd was chattering as they waited for music and singing to start up.

" So Lu-chan, we're going to sing..." Lucy nodded, " What are we going to sing..." Lucy scanned over the settled for one. It was for fun. She wanted to see his reaction. She waited until Levy mentally perpared herself. With a quick nod the allowed the music to play, and watch as the lyrics appeared on the screen before them.

Feel like I'm about to fly"As Gajeel watched he couldn't help but use the word cute in his mind. The way Levy said the little words after Lucy's. She was starting to follow Lucy's lead and got into it more.

" They aren't half bad," Gajeel said.

"Its a long way down so don't let me fall
You got me feelin' ten feet tall
Every kiss is like the fourth of July
Feel like I'm about to fly" Natsu laughed as Levy sang the ten feet tall part. He knew he felt high whenever he kissed Lucy. Kissing was like a drug. He couldn't get enough of it, he wasn't use to it though. Love was a weird thing to him, still new. But he was sure Jellal and Gray felt the same way. Well maybe not Gray, he had months of practice before the rest of them could get their partner.

"Hey boy you got me on my tip toes

Right up off my tip toes"Lucy finished by herself. She dropped the mic back on the table and ran over to Natsu, jumped on him. Shocked, Natsu fell back onto the floor.

" So... I'm guessing you want me to kiss you and not stop?" Lucy giggled and stood up shaking her head. Natsu faked a frown trying not to smile, " So you don't want me to kiss you?" Lucy simply smiled and cupped her hands around her mouth.

" SO WHO SANG THE BEST?!" She yelled, " THE PRETTY GIRLS OR THE GUYS?"

" HEY!" Natsu shouted hugging Lucy.

The crowd responded by shouting out the 'pretty girls'. It was mostly consisted of the boys in the room.

" What? No fair," Natsu pouted. Lucy leaned her head against Natsu's shoulder laughing. She leaned up and kissed him. Long and hard, gentle and soft. It switched back and forth, forcefully ,hungrily. Probably the longest time Lucy actually kissed Natsu. When she pulled back she laughed at Natsu's face. Pouting, he didn't want her to pull back. So instead of her taking the lead, he started, startling her as she wasn't ready for another.

On the opposite side of the room, Gajeel and Levy were with each other. Gajeel made sure to be far from where the others could see him. He didn't want Gray and Natsu bugging him about this. While they weren't looking, he would always grant Levy a kiss. Just like Gajeel she preferred to be away from the others. It wasn't her reputation she was afraid of, unlike Gajeel, she was embarrassed. She was shorter than him, so he had to lean down low just to kiss her. Hugging wasn't a problem.

" Who's next?!" Someone shouted.

Natsu and Lucy stared at each other, walking off to find their friends. " I know! Gray and Juvia!" Natsu shouted, receiving a glare and a light punch to the arm by Gray.

" Go Gray go!"

" Gray-sama~ " Juvia ran up behind her boyfriend and jumped on him. They both fell to the floor. Natsu laughed. " Let's sing~" Everyone watched them walk up to the center of attention.

" So then. Wanna hang out tomorrow? Just us?" Natsu asked pulling Lucy closer.

She kissed him, " Tomorrow." She agreed.

Yeah... I said it was short.
