Johanna watched the Victory Tour on her large television. It seemed they were in District 2, yes, there was that weird structure she had remembered seeing on her own Tour. The "star-crossed lovers", as everyone called them, were standing on the stage with the crowd supposedly cheering below.
She noticed Katniss Everdeen was wearing a deep blue strapless dress with diamonds on them, and secretly thought how gorgeous it was. Instinctively she reached towards the screen...

There was a raucous sound of glass breaking and zapping. Sparks flew in the air and Johanna found her hand clutching a handful of that fabric, diamonds still attached to it. She was shell-shocked, gaping at the broken screen with her hand still sticking into it and clutching the fabric. Normally, things like this didn't shock Johanna but this was out of the ordinary. It wasn't a normal thing for television screens to zap when you stuck your hand in them…

Miraculously, when she drew back her hand, her screen went back to normal and there was nothing broken. On-screen, Katniss was screaming, a large, torn hole in the dress on her back, the microphone cut off and people rushing all over backstage. Her prep team came out to rush her back inside the Justice Building while Peeta, being clever with words, tried to shout out to the confused crowd that Katniss had a little emergency.

Johanna smiled smugly as she ran her finger over the velvet and diamonds. She folded it neatly and stuffed it in her pocket for later use. Who knows when it would come in handy someday?

"You should see what he can do with velvet," Katniss explained to Johanna when she commented on what Cinna had done.

Johanna smiled. "I have. On your tour. That strapless number you wore in District 2? The deep blue one with the diamonds? So gorgeous I reached through the screen and tore it right off your back."

"So it was you," Katniss gasped. And she thought, I knew it was you. Fortunately it wasn't with a few centimetres of my flesh. "How did..."

Johanna interrupted her and uncurled her clenched fist, revealing the fabric, and dangled it in front of Katniss's face. "And thanks to Cinna, I have a new district token! Or should I say capitol token."

"Hey!" protested Katniss. "I was the one wearing it! I had to bear with my back being exposed to the entire Panem! And I'm not Glimmer! No credit for me?"

Johanna just smirked and said, "None ever."
