Notes: This is from this week's theme: "mermaid". As it was also the Asaba twins' birthday on the 20th, this drabble is tying the theme and their birthday together.

"What are you doing, Yuuta?"

The older twin looks up from where he's sitting, focusing on his younger brother. "Going through some of the pictures I haven't had a chance to organize yet."

"From the sports festival?"

"That too, but there were some from the school festival I haven't gotten around to yet..." Yuuta sifts through the pile, puzzled that so many are missing in his collection. The one he's planned to go into the top left corner is supposed to be Shun when he crossed the finish line, but it's currently being very elusive.

The usual silence fills the room, and Yuuki turns his attention to the albums sitting neatly on the shelf. He picks the oldest looking one, and isn't surprised that the photos in this one are from their kindergarten days. Falling onto the lower bunk of their bed, he also walks down memory lane with his brother.

"Isn't this from our last year?"

He takes a quick glance and nods. "If I remember correctly, that was when we did the Little Mermaid skit for the parents, right?" He finally finds it lurking under a Kaname photo, and carefully he peels the two apart.

Yuuki flips several pages and chuckles. "Yes, Shun, always getting the unlucky end of the string."

"Not that he minds." Yuuta goes back to filing a picture of Chizuru forcing Kaname to do a peace sign into the bottom left hand pocket. The corners of his mouth curl up in a fond smile as he recalls how Shun stumbled and cried to him.

"...Yuuta, your face."

"What's wrong with it?"

"You're doing it again."

"Doing what again?"

"That creepy smile whenever Shun is mentioned."

"There's no—such—thing—"

Yuuki rolls over on the bed, hitting his shoulder. "Yes, yes, Yuuta. I'm sure it's not as obvious as I make it out to be, since Shun still hasn't caught on."
