Summary: EO Drabble Challenge: Sparkle. John shouldn't worry about his youngest so much. No matter what state Dean's in, he'll always look after his little brother.

A/N: This one just invaded my head out of nowhere and I had to write it, even though I already wrote a drabble on this word. Sorry it's late.

Dean crawled out of the comfy bed he shared with daddy. Reaching the crib, he watched his little brother writhe and hiccup.

He smiled, fingers stroking Sammy's cheek. He calmed, sparkling green eyes looking up at him. Dean's heart melted.

Daddy walked in, "What're you doing up, buddy?"

Dean sniffled, feeling sleepy and hot, swaying a little. Daddy steadied him, a big, cool hand on his shoulder.

"Wanted ta check on Sammy."

John's heart tugged at that. Even with a rising fever, Dean thought only of Sam.

"C'mon, tiger," John smiled at his eldest. "Let's get you back to bed."
