Sorry all my dear readers. I know it has been forever and a half since I updated and honestly I didn't think anyone was even reading this story anymore but I have had a few recent reviews asking if I would update. Here is the final chapter. I hope you all enjoy it!

Chapter 13 – The Moment We've All Been Waiting For

It was finally the week of the wedding and everything was going completely as planned. Rachel and Finn had made it to Lima for the final preparations. Kurt had all the decorations taken care of so the only thing they needed to worry about was the song selections. They were planning on singing a duet together and then letting the Glee Club, whoever wanted to participate, sing a song together. They didn't want the reception to be a huge affair like Mr. Shue's had been but they wanted music to be involved because that was what had brought them together in the first place.

Rachel put her head down in frustration. "Finn, there is not a single duet that either of us agree to sing. Everything I want you keep throwing out the window for some unknown reason! What do you want to sing!"

Finn could see the frustration in her face and how she cared herself, but he didn't know what to do. He wanted it to be perfect and he knew she did too but something just didn't feel right every time they talked about a song. "Sweetheart, I know you want it to be perfect and so do I. The problem is none of the songs we have discussed are really standing out to me as the perfect song for us to sing. Maybe we should just sing Faithfully again."

"What did you say?"

Finn could tell by her tone that she was not happy with that idea. "I just think that it is the only song..."

"No, it is perfect! That is the song that started it all! I don't know why we didn't think of this sooner. I love it!" Rachel got up from where she was sitting and crossed the room to sit next to Finn on the small couch. "I think we should figure out the songs for the group to sing."

They worked for a few more hours before deciding on songs for the wedding. They texted their friends informing them that there would be a rehearsal the next day to discuss the arrangements. Rachel said her good-byes and headed home. Finn spent a few more minutes coming up with another arrangement that he thought would be absolutely perfect for their wedding.

Rachel stood in the room staring back at her reflection. She had done this once before but this one was more special. She had actually gone through more of the process necessary to plan a real wedding. Kurt had actually had time to put together a beautiful wedding and it was actually happening somewhere besides the courthouse.

The door opened behind her exposing Quinn. Rachel smiled and motioned for her to come inside. "I am so glad that you are safely here this time. I was a bit worried that maybe we should send Puck to get you so that we knew you got here safely."

Quinn laughed softly, "Well I did come with Puck but you probably wouldn't be very happy when you find out that we got here on his motorcycle. Don't worry I put my dress in with Mercedes so that it wouldn't get ruined."

Rachel shook her head before going back to adjusting her veil nervously. "Don't tell me you are having second thoughts about this," Quinn asked as she stood up to help fix the mess Rachel was making.

"Oh, of course not. I just keep thinking about everything that has happened the past few years. So much has happened. I can't imagine my life any different but it would have been so very different if Finn hadn't been blackmailed into joining Glee Club. What if Mr. Shue hadn't wanted into the locker room when he did."

"He would probably still be dating me, being miserable and not even realizing it."

Rachel turned around to look at her maid of honor. "I would have been the same way. Miserable and not even realizing it, not knowing what I was missing but always wondering. I know one thing, I definitely wouldn't be getting married in Lima that is for sure. In fact, I probably won't be getting married right now because I obviously have not won my Tony yet."

Quinn smiled and patted Rachel's shoulders. "No probably not, but I think this life is a much much better one."

The door opened again and Rachel's dads walked in. "Oh, our baby looks so beautiful! It is time to take you down the aisle."

Rachel smiled at Quinn who handed her her bouquet and walked out the door to take her place next to the best man who just happened to also be her boyfriend. Rachel took a deep breath and took the arms of her fathers.

Finn rubbed his hands on his pants once more. He couldn't believe that his hands were sweating so bad. It wasn't the first time he had been here but this time he knew nothing would go wrong. Or at least he hoped nothing would go wrong. He heard the music begin to play and turned to watch the procession come down the aisle. He felt his heart beating the closer it got to the end of the line. He knew she was coming soon and he couldn't wait to see her finally.

The wedding was a huge success. Rachel had written beautiful vows and Finn had made everyone cry with his. He had surprised Rachel with how eloquent they were. After everyone had been served, Rachel stood up to thank everyone for coming. The Glee Club stood up to perform their song:

There were tears in everyone's eyes as they finished the song. The applause was loud as Rachel and Finn took the stage. They sang their duet with so much passion and love for each other. The first time they had sang it they had demonstrated passion but this time it was even more powerful. There, at this point, was no dry eye in the audience. Rachel thanked everyone for coming and then took her seat. She was surprised that Finn was not coming down to sit next to her. He stood on the stage playing with the buttons on his jacket. He cleared his throat and asked Puck and Sam to join him on the stage.

"All my life, I have just expected it to be a certain way. I would graduate from high school and stay in Lima, maybe go to a junior college on a football scholarship but always come back to Lima. I couldn't imagine my life any other way, until I laid eyes on this beautiful girl. I didn't know it at the time, but my whole world was about to change as soon as I heard her sing. We have had rough patches, but it always seems like we keep coming back to each other. We both have our insecurities, but that is what makes our love even stronger. I wanted to pick a perfect song to surprise you with and I think I found it. I love you so much Rachel and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

Rachel was so touched by his song choice. It was absolutely perfect.

The reception was absolutely perfect. Rachel was completely exhausted and she knew Finn was too. They made it to their hotel room after they unburied their car from all the decorations imagined thanks to Puck and Sam. After checking into their hotel and finding their room, Finn picked Rachel up to carry her across the threshold. She laughed as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He set her down and gave her a soft kiss before going into the bathroom first knowing that Rachel was going to need a bit longer to get all her makeup off from the wedding. He pulled out a few papers while he waited for her to finish. He was trying to work on an arrangement for Mr. Shue.

Rachel walked out and just admired him tapping his pencil to an unknown beat. She couldn't believe that he was finally her husband. She loved him so much and she felt as though her heart was going to burst with so much love.

Finn looked up and smiled. He put the papers on the table and turned the bed sheets down on her side then patted it gently. She jumped in next to him and laid her head down on his shoulder while he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close.

"You know I love you right?" Rachel asked while snuggling close to him.

"Yes, and I love you more than you will ever know," answered Finn before captivating her in a deep passionate kiss.
