It's FINALLY DONE! Sorry for the delay, I just totally forgot about it. Gonna work on some one-shots later, probs not Tahnorra but some other ships maybe. But Tahnorra shall forever be OTP. Anyway I didn't wanna put this at the end, cause I thought it might ruin the ending. I'll leave you to read now, enjoy! (Oh and please leave reviews, feedback is much appreciated).

The thick paper inside the envelope was slashed by black streaks. The letters read, 'Meet me at Kuang's Cuisine tomorrow at 6.'

Korra raised an eyebrow and glanced at her clock, 11 am. Kuang's? It was a bit out of the blue in Korra's opinion, but it made some sense since after recent events, their freedom and the ending of a case, some form of celebration was required. But Kuang's was an expensive place and Korra would have to spend a decent hour getting ready.

In the mean-time, Mako, Bolin, Asami, Ikki, Meelo, Jinora and herself all sat down to play a board-game. Tahno, for some unknown reason, was absent. It was one of the longest running board games any of them had ever played before. It took them 10 minutes just to decide on who was what piece. Jinora happily ended up with the much favoured carved wooden Fire Ferret, whilst Bolin ended up with a block of white wood with a single curve and painted grey shading which was supposedly a "Sky Bison" but looked more like what Pabu chucked up when he didn't particularly like his dinner.

Korra picked up a 'Fortune Card' which read, "Today great joys will come. Move fowards 2 spaces." She pushed her little Spirit Panda fowards two spaces and into the 'Spirit World' as the board suggested it was called. Bolin rolled his dice and moved his piece fowards 4 spaces, only to land on the same Fortune space as Korra previously had. When he picked up his card it read, "You have angered the Spirit Lord's by walking on sacred land. They have trapped you in their prison. Miss 3 turns."

Bolin moaned and threw up his hands in frustration. He always seemed to lose at games like this. He rested his head on his hand. Jinora beamed over at him, a sparkle in her eye. Bolin raised an eyebrow as he thought, 'Humph, that cheat.'

After the game finished at 2pm, with no surpise, Jinora as victor, the group dispersed across the island. Asami could be found quietly doing her nails in her room. Mako and Bolin were training, Jinora was feeding the sky bisons and Ikki and Meelo had disappeared all together. Korra had locked herself in her room and was sifting through her closet, desperately looking for one of the two dresses she actually had. She sighed to the roof, throwing her hands up when she couldn't find it.

"How about this?"

Korra whipped around, to see Pema holding up a lovely sea blue water-tribe gown. "Katara gave it to me. She knew that one day you'd need something like it. I guess today's as good as any." Korra smiled over at Pema and brought her into a hug.

"It's lovely. Thank you so much." Korra laid the dress out on her bed, inspecting every detail. As she did so, Pema slipped out of the room smiling.

Korra was amazed at the attention to detail. The dress had pure white fur trim lining the edges of the gown as well as decorative copper stitching of different water-tribe symbols and patterns. It was so beautiful, it made Korra wonder how Katara had come in possesion of it in the first place. She looked around the gown for a tag which might have a company or solo sewers logo on it. Instead, Korra found a white tab sewn onto the inside of the dress. It had her name written in Katara's curly handwriting. So, it had been hand-crafted, especially for her.

Carefully, she held it up to her body and looked down at the way it hung to her feet. She placed it back on her bed again and made her way to the bathroom where she ran a bath. Korra sighed as the hot water met with her skin and steam made it's way into her pores. As the bubbles enveloped her, remembered all the struggles she'd been through in the past year and a bit. And really, she was so peaceful in the tub, that she really didn't want to get out...ever. She was worried that if she did, she'd never be able to go back and return to this peace.

"Just one of the downsides of being the Avatar I guess," Korra mumbled to herself.

Rocking up to Kuang's Cuisine in her dress was a whole new experience for Korra. Not that she hadn't been to expensive places before, she was just more of a rough person. She felt she didn't fit in with the atmosphere. A small smile spread across her face when she saw Tahno leaning on his Sato-Mobile out the front in a formal blue water tribe shirt (much like the one Mako wore in the episode where the party is held for Korra...can't remember the number) with black dress pants.

She walked over slowly and he leaned up to greet her with a soft kiss on the lips. "Come on, lets go in," Tahno said gently taking Korra's hand. Korra gave him a small smile in response and nodded.

As they made their way in, a waiter came to show them to an open table. Korra looked down at the menu slightly and bit her lip. Everything was so expensive. Tahno grabbed a napkin and covered the prices on the menu, "So what looks good?" he asked, trying to maintain a lively atmosphere. Korra scanned the menu, but still couldn't make her mind up.

She punched Tahno lightly on the shoulder,"You pick! You know I'm terrible at making decisions." This was not entirely true though. At the best of times, Korra was very decisive. Her skills seemed to fail her today, and this made Tahno incredibly anxious.

"Okay," he mumbled. "Why don't we share something?" he suggested in a slightly merrier tone.

"Mhmm," Korra nodded enthusiastically.

"Here we go, there's a platter we can order."

Korra looked at the description. It was a Water tribe dish, her favourite food type (obviously). The picture showed a platter filled high with various seafood kebabs and plates of noodles, and bowls of stewed seaweed. "Sounds good," she responded, "fantastic actually."

The steam from the platter billowed out in great plumes as Tahno and Korra jabbed it with their chop-sticks, trying to figure out what was what under the thick grey cloud. In the end, they each twirled up some noodles on the end of their utensils and proceeded to chew. And funnily enough, like in sappy romance movies, they happened to be chewing different ends of the same noodle. And so cliche like, their lips met at the end in a little peck. Korra rested her head on Tahno's shoulder and giggled a little. Aaaah, how she wished every day could be like this.

They had slowly worked their way through the plates and plates of foods, and left to traces behind. The waiters came to their quiet little corner of the restaurant and took their dishes away. Tahno nodded his thanks as they did so. Then his eyes flicked to Korra. She sat there, staring out the window in a sort of daze, obviously happy and content. She was incredibly beautiful in her traditional gown, which contrasted perfectly against her darker skin shade.

"Hey Korra, can I ask you something?" Tahno said coolly. Whilst he may have sounded relaxed, on the inside he was trying as hard as he could to keep his voice from wavering.

"Sure anything," she said, turning her head to look at him across the table.

Tahno slowly placed his hand in his pocket and pulled out a small black container, which looked awfully similar to a pen box for fancy pens. Korra looked at it with a tilted head. Tahno opened the box and held up a blue choker with a small stone carving latched to it. It dangled elegantly from his hand. Korra's eyes widened at the sight.

"Korra, will you marry me?" Tahno asked smoothly. It was a betrothal necklace, traditional to the Water tribe.

Korra picked up a spare menu and covered her face. It was obvious to Tahno what she was doing. He pulled the menu down from her face, and saw rivulets running down her face. Tahno bit his lip. Was this bad?

"Of course dumby," she punched his arm not-so-lightly this time, but too happy to care. Tahno winced slightly at the sudden pain, but was too happy himself to care.

Korra leaned over the table and pulled him by his collar into a deep and passionate kiss. He leaned back panting slightly and walked around the table to gently tie the choker around Korra's neck.

"I love you. You're amazing. You're perfect," Korra whispered.

"I love you too. You're an angel. You're perfect," Tahno mumbled into her silky hair as he leaned down to kiss the top of her head.

Fin.
