The next morning, Eli and Clare wake up in each other arms, slowly waking from a peaceful sleep.

Clare POV- I'm so glad Jake is gone, hopefully for good, but all I can do is wait and pray I never see him again. I don't understand this guy and why he is a complete psycho. I wish he would just die like everyone else seems to do around me.

Hey Clare, "I need to go talk to B, about some stuff but, I'll be back soon, okay"? Eli says as he gets out of bed and heads to the door, after a sweet morning kiss.

"Okay, but try not to be long. We don't have to be in class today and I want to sight see a little, please." Clare says with a little quirky smile.

Eli nods and walks out the door, Clare heads to the wash room and gets ready for the day ahead, without a worry in the world.

"Today is going to be great!" Clare thinks to herself.

She finishes up in the shower and heads to her room, Katie is sitting on her bed, she sees Clare and stands up.

"Hey Clare, Look B told me that you were mad at me for talking to Eli, well really for thinking we sleep together."

"Its okay, Katie, Eli told me everything. I'm sorry." Clare walks up to Katie and gives her a hug.

"Me, too!" Katie starts to cry

"For what?" Clare asks all puzzled on why Katie is saying sorry and crying.

"About Eli and I"

"What about you and Eli?"

"He didn't really tell you, did he?"

"Tell me what!" Clare yells

"We did sleep together."

"WHAT! he told me you too didn't do anything."

"We did Clare, and I'm so sorry!"

"Get OUT!"

Katie walks out of the room and shuts the door behind her, Clare just sits on the bed and thinks.

What and I suppose to do? I got one guy who can't keep his pants on and another who won't stop trying me. I'm tired of all this bullshit and I want to go home. Clare gets up and calls her Grandfather.

"Grandpa, I want to come home, I want to come stay with you. PLEASE!"

"Sweetie you can't, I'm not even at home, I'm in the states dealing with legal stuff, and I've got to go."

Clare grandfather hangs up the phone, leaving Clare on the other line. Speechless Clare just disconnects the line and heads outside. She sees Katie on the phone, probably with Eli, wherever he is. She walks away from her direction and sees some kids on the basketball court playing. She heads that way and sits in the grass. The same place where Jake brought her the first time they really hung out. She just sits there and really thinks about everything and wonders why this all happened to her. What did she do?

"Hello"

Clare hears a voice from behind her. She doesn't want to turn around and see who it is.
