Sitting in his chambers, Loki dragged a hand down his face. He didn t understand how his brother was to be King of Asgard when he didn t understand when to hold his tongue. It was bothersome to have to tell Thor constantly to silence himself. It was almost like telling a child to behave.

In a way, their roles were reversed. It always seemed to be Loki, the youngest, to be taking care of Thor, the eldest, in the way as of behavior. Though it bothered the youngest, he wouldn t have it any other way.

"Brother, We were so close-" Thor began, but fell silent when Loki raised a hand.

"Do you not understand that if we had conquered victory, that we would be punished for going against the word of our father? Brother. You need to learn when to do what you want, and when to obey. I can not be there for you all the time. What will you do when you take the throne? I am not your consort. I will not be by your side at all moments of the day!" Loki spat the last word.

This time, Thor had chosen to ignore Loki and continue with his childish plan to get even at another realm. Thor had gone too far and had almost destroyed that world. They would be lucky if their father didn t hear about it and punish them. Knowing their luck, they might just be banished to separate realms.

Pacing didn t calm his rage much, but it did help. Loki turned to face his brother who was sitting on the chair in the sitting part of his chambers, a solemn look to his face. Loki stepped forward so he was in front of Thor and looked him in the eye.

"Do you understand, Thor? I can not loose my brother to foolishness. Loki whispered as he put his hands on Thor s shoulder. Realize this brother. I need you here in Asgard. Not off fighting for something as petty as revenge for a feud long forgotten." Loki s green eyes searched Thor s blue ones for anything, but found nothing but the normal confusion that stayed there. He groaned in frustration and went back to pacing angerly.

Thor stood up, and walked his brother back to his bed. His mind stuck on the consort comment. The more he thought about it, the more Thor wanted Loki and only Loki to be his consort for all eternity. He didn t care if they were brothers, Loki was the one Thor loved.

Loki fell back on his bed and glared up at his brother. "What foolish game do you think you are playin-" He was cut off when Thor placed himself over Loki and silenced him with a kiss.

"Not a game, brother. I wish you to be my consort." Thor whispered, his voice deep with a sudden lust for the lean man beneath him.

Loki s eyes shot wide in shock at the words his brother had spoken and how Thor pinned him with his body. They had been in this situation before on the practice field, but never under circumstances like this. He took a moment to think and knew that this was how it was supposed to be. Knowing he would never be king himself, he took the next best option and that was to be the king a main right hand.

Nodding, Loki hesitantly leaned up and pressed his lips to Thor s again. Sparks shot through his body and his choice was confirmed then and there. They bonded in a way that no commoner ever could and for once, Loki was happy.

Running his hands up his brother s side, Thor couldn t help but to give his classic grin. Thank you, brother. For accepting. He murmured and went back to loving the feel of lip against lip.

(I do not own Thor or Loki in any way, shape or form. If I did.. Well.. let's leave those fantasties for another time.)
