Hallo my dears~! I am still here and decided to post this, hoping you all will like it! Enjoy! :D
Arthur's POV
Chapter 1:
I sighed, walking up to my home. Another failed World Meeting had ended about an hour ago. All we did was argue like we normally did, nothing too special. Alfred brought up a hero idea again and I got mad, Francis and I starting to argue shortly after. Really, Francis and I always argued so that wasn't a real shocking surprise. We did it almost every meeting. The meeting ended with Ludwig yelling at us to get our acts together.
"Next meeting," I mumbled to myself, pulling out my keys to unlock my front door. "We seriously to need to get something done. No arguing, no getting off topic. Actually sit down and talk about what we came to talk."
I rolled my emerald green eyes as I stuck the key into the keyhole. We would probably start yelling at one another anyway, just like we always did. Maybe, just maybe, we could get something done next time. Actually get something done.
Sounds like a dream too good to be true.
"Ludwig probably dreams about that," I chuckled, unlocking my front door. I pulled the key out, pushing open my door while dropping the keys into my front pocket. "I would love to get something done but that bloody frog needs to stay away from me."
I closed my front door behind me, leaning up against it for a second. Now I was in my empty house, alone like normal. Personally, I liked coming home to be able to relax and such but right now the house was just so dark I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. Alfred's probably wide awake, considering the fact of how over in America, it is about five hours before us here in London. Well, it does depend upon where exactly Alfred is but he's probably in his capitol or New York.
What surprised me the most was that it was only ten o' clock yet it was so dark out. Alfred should just be eating dinner, since it should be five over where he is. Francis and Ludwig should be in bed, Ivan and Antonio as well. Kiku and Yao should still be up, being morning over by them. I guess I could consider myself lucky, since it was night time over here when the meeting ended. I was so exhausted so it was nice it was night and not morning.
I finally stood straight back up, turning around to lock the door before I left it be. Now was the time for me to go make a nice cup of tea and changed into my pajamas.
I walked over to the closet, pulling it open to hang up my jacket. Before I could hang up my jacket though, I had to take off my jacket. I moved to unzip my jacket and then shrugged it off my shoulders, grabbing a hanger to hang it up with. Once my jacket was hung, I closed the closet door and went up the stairs to go change into my pajamas.
I entered my room, looking around to see it was in the way I left it before. See, one time when I came home from a meeting, I came home to find it in a poor state. The blankets were thrown off the bed, the pillows crooked. It had turned out that Francis had decided to come pay me a visit for when I went downstairs, Francis was there with a smirk on his face. I was so upset with him, he didn't know what was coming.
This time, my room looked neat as I had left it, thankfully. I smiled, walking over to my dresser. I opened up the second drawer, pulling out my pajama top before I bent over lower to pull open the third drawer, pulling out my pajama bottoms. Before I left to change completely though, I grabbed a new pair of socks.
"After this I can finally have my cup of tea," I mumbled to myself, pulling my shirt over my head. I threw it into the hamper, pulling my pajama top on. "I haven't had a cup since this morning."
I buttoned up the shirt and the unbuttoned my pants. Once they were off my body, I threw them into the hamper as well, pulling on my pajama bottoms. I sat down on my bed once that was all said and done, pulling my socks onto my now bare feet. Obviously I had to kick off my shoes and the socks I wore today but now, I was wearing a new pair of socks.
"Tea time," I announced to no one in particular. With a small smile on my face, I exited my room and went back down the stairs, heading towards the kitchen.
Once I entered the kitchen, I headed towards the counter, getting ready to make my tea. I grabbed a tea cup from a cabinet, smiling softly to myself the whole time. At least here at home I could be truly happy, not grumpy around Alfred and Francis, the others too.
I picked up the tea kettle and poured my tea into the tea cup, listening to the water splash into it. It was a soothing sound, at least, to me it was. Suddenly though, I heard something behind me so I whirled around, holding the tea kettle as a weapon.
Turns out it was just Flying Mint Bunny.
"Oh, hello Flying Mint Bunny!" I greeted, smiling at him.
"Hi England!" he exclaimed, flying around me. "Good to see your home! Are we going down to the basement tonight?"
Flying Mint Bunny and I would normally go downstairs into my room that no one was allowed to enter. It was always at night, once I had my cup of tea we would head down together. I don't know why but really, he would keep me company while I was down there doing my black magic and such. Better than being alone.
"Yes we are, just let me get my nightly cup of tea," I told him. He kept on flying around as I finished making my tea, setting the kettle back down on top of the stove. I picked up my cup of tea, bringing the delicate cup up to my lips to take a sip of the delicious liquid. "Alright, let's go."
Flying Mint Bunny flew off to the basement door, bumping into it. I chuckled, walking up to the little thing. I opened the door, watching Flying Mint Bunny disappear down into the basement. I followed, closing the door behind me but didn't venture too far, for I had to turn on the light to see the stairs clearly.
"Eager now, are we?" I asked my fellow friend once I entered my black magic room. Flying Mint Bunny flew above everything, smiling widely.
"Just thought you wanted to finish your concoction," he stated. "Remember how you want to rid of France? Well, you never finished it."
"Much less start on it," I concluded, walking up to my chair. I took a seat and set my tea cup on the side table beside me.
I stretched my arms before me, looking down at everything before me. Before I started though, I felt as if something was missing.
That was when Flying Mint Bunny gave me my cloak. He dropped it onto my lap, still flying around like he normally did. I smiled, thanking him before I put it on over top of my pajamas. Now, here I was, in my pajamas and cloak, my cup of nightly tea beside me while I worked on my new concoction.
I was really tired but I also really wanted to work on this so I decided to stay up just for a bit longer. Deep inside though, I knew I shouldn't have. I should have just gone to bed and never worked on the concoction but instead of giving into my sleepiness, I stayed up.
"Let's get this finished," I announced and then started messing around with the concoction. Flying Mint Bunny nodded, landing down beside me, sitting on top of the side table.
For what seemed like forever, I threw in random things, messing around with the concoction for a bit. Flying Mint Bunny watched me, moving his head every time my arm moved or made any movement with my arm or hands.
Really, I didn't know exactly what to put in to get rid of Francis. Did I really want to get rid of him and let his country fall or did I just want to get rid of his perverted ways? Well, really, I wanted to do both but overall, I wanted to get rid of him completely. If I did that though…his country would fall and everyone would wonder why. At least, it should fall. When Holy Rome disappeared, his empire fell.
"Yeah, it should fall," I said aloud, throwing more things into my concoction.
"What should fall?" Flying Mint Bunny asked, sounding a bit curious. I glanced over at him, noticing his curious facial expression.
"France," I started, earning another curious look. I did go on though, telling Flying Mint Bunny what I was thinking. "If I made Francis disappear then his whole country would fall."
Flying Mint Bunny nodded, agreeing with me. I let a sigh escape past my lips, looking back down at my concoction. "Well, I mean, getting rid of his perverted ways I think is torture enough…besides, he's a wimp," I noted, picking up the concoction.
"Of course he's a wimp," Flying Mint Bunny joked. I smirked softly as I brought the concoction closer to my face so I could examine it easier.
It was a mixture of things but for the most part, it seemed to be one solid color. It seemed to look like a red color, like red wine.
"It looks red..." I trailed off, moving the bowl around. "Yet it isn't in a liquid state, more powder than anything."
"You can get it into a liquid state, right?" Flying Mint Bunny asked, looking at the bowl full of powder.
"For the most part," I told him. "I didn't think it would turn out into a powder state but I guess I should've suspected that. Didn't use any liquids!"
Flying Mint Bunny nodded, still looking at the powder like I was. I could probably slip this into Francis's wine or turn it into a more liquidy state. If I turned it into a liquid, I could just offer Francis a glass of 'wine'. He might just fall for it, at least, I think he will.
In the silence, I kept examining the powder concoction. I was half tempted to blow on it even though it wasn't hot. A simple shrug of the shoulder was issued shortly after. It really didn't matter if I blew on it or not so, why not?
I blew on the powder, just a little bit. Some of it went flying into the air and some of it blew right into my face. I sneezed, shaking my head to try to get the powder to leave me alone. Instead of leaving me alone, it hung in the air, floating down to the floor.
Suddenly, my eyes widened, something rushing through my veins. A very familiar feeling that I had gotten rid of a long time ago, something that I didn't want anymore, came back. I closed my eyes for a mere second, remembering everything from the past and wanting something back that I had tried so hard to forget about. Wanting to get rid of it started to drift away and wanting to get it back came rushing in, the feeling rushing through my veins.
I looked over at Flying Mint Bunny, smiling softly.
"I want to be a pirate again."
