Draco's P.O.V.
Pansy pointed her fat finger at Hermione.
"What are you doing with that scum?!" she asked in an outraged voice.
I tried to calm down, I really did, but Pansy hit my nerve. I realized that she was pressed against the wall with me on top of her.
"For your information, Pansy," I spat. "We are dating and she is ten times better than you will ever be. She's smarter, kinder and prettier! That is why I will never be with you and why I am with Hermione Granger!"
I slowly removed myself from her trembling body. I needed something to make me forget about her and how much I wanted to punch her face. I grabbed the stunned Hermione and started to kiss her. I pressed her against the wall. Her fingers knitted in my hair, but pulled her away after remembering that we had a crowd.
Her face instantly blushed and I looked where she was looking. Weasel and Potter were staring at us open-mouthed.
"Better close your mouth. You might catch flies." I said and I walked past them with Hermione at my side.
I slung my arm protectively over her shoulder. Her tiny arms clutched me around my waist as we headed to our next class.
We were in the Slytherin prefect room. The fire crackled in the fireplace, illuminating Hermione's beautiful face. We were sitting on the green and silver loveseat which was on top of the green carpet. The walls were silver and hanging from them were tapestries of green.
"How are the other Slytherins taking it?" she asked timidly.
"Not well. They're calling me a traitor, but I don't care. You are more important to me. How is Potter and Weasley?"
"I don't know, I haven't talked to them, or any of my friends for that matter." she said with her voice colored with sorrow.
"If they are truly your friends, they would understand. You should try to sort things out with them later." I suggested.
"I think I will. Thanks." she said and she leaned into me.
Her soft lips met mine. My hands encircled her waist and her hands locked into her hair. Nobody could stop us. Her fingers got tangled in my hair.
"Ten points from Gryfindor." said a nasal voice.
I looked up in annoyance at the greasy haired, hook nosed teacher.
"Back off, Snape." I growled quite upset that he ruined the moment.
Hermione jumped up and collected her things. She rushed out of the room with her face as scarlet as her house colors.
"Thanks." I said sarcastically.
"Look, Malfoy. You need to fix the Vanishing Cabinet before the holidays. We leave for Christmas next week."
"What does it matter to you. And for your information, I have been working on it."
Actually I have forgotten all about it. I have been so wrapped up in Hermione that I had forgotten about the task at hand.
"I have an idea for you. Tomorrow is the trip to Hogsmeade. Use a curse to make someone give that necklace I snuck in for you, to Dumbledore."
I remember the necklace. It was silver, but tainted with a dark red, almost black color. The color of blood. Of coarse, it was made with blood. Centaur blood and a bit of dark magic. Just the perfect thing to kill Dumbledore.
"I've got everything under control!" I hissed at him.
He rolled his eyes and left. I was scared I would fail and lose Hermione. But if she knew, she would leave me. I pushed my thoughts away and went searching for the necklace that was wrapped in a protective box. You wouldn't get hurt unless you touched the necklace, which Dumbledore was sure to do.
Okay, let me know what you think! Can I pretty please have five reviews? I need to make sure my writing is okay and that people are reading this!
