College classes have been tough, especially my math class and the ton of homework that i get from the accented teacher.

Chapter Twelve

I woke up the next day still in a daze. I was still thinking about my date with Ray. Did that really happen? I asked myself. Then reality hit me. Everything that happened yesterday really did happen. I got up and out of my bed and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine. Once I finished I went downstairs. I entered the kitchen and what I saw there surprised me. Mo, Stella, Jeanne, mom, dad and Scott were sitting at the table with Ray and Belle and they were eating breakfast.

"Morning sweetheart." Mom said getting up and getting me a plate of breakfast.

"Morning." I said taking a seat in between Mo and Ray. Mom came and gave me my plate. "Thanks." I said and began eating. "Why didn't you guys wake me up?"

"Well you looked like you weren't going to wake up." Stella said.

"Still." I said. "Next time wake me up. No matter what."

"Will do."

With that we continued eating. After we finished I helped mom with the dishes and when we finished I went back upstairs to get my phone. As I walked past Scott's room I felt myself being pulled in. My back hit the door and I felt a pair of lips crash onto mine. Once breathing became necessary we broke apart. I opened my eyes and was welcomed to seeing the blue eyes that I have grown to love.

"Morning Livs." Ray said.

"Morning Ray." I said. "Now why did you bring me in here?"

"Because," he began, "I wouldn't be able to kiss you like I want to in front of your parents and the others. I have far too much respect for that."

I giggled. "Please." I said. He raised an eyebrow. "With the way Scott has kissed Mo in front of my parents you shouldn't worry."

"Still." He said. "Plus I like the privacy."

"Of course you do." I said. "Now if you'll excuse me I have to get my phone and head back downstairs. Mo, Stella, Jeanne and I are going to this karaoke place. So in order for us to do that you'll have to let me go."

"No." He whined.

"Ray," I said pecking his lips, "I told them last night that I was going to go."

"Alright." He said smiling.

I smiled back and opened the door. With that I walked out and went to my room. I closed the door and went to change. I changed into a Jay Ahr Wool-blend and flared Wool-felt dress with Bqueen leather lace-up boots. I put on Forever New Heather beret with rosette earrings, a Emily and Ashley pink topaz chain necklace with butterfly charm and a The Accessories & Beyond Brown Leather Rose Gold Flower Wrap Bracelet. Once I finished changing I grabbed a small purse, my phone and headed downstairs. When I reached the living room I saw Scott playing with Belle and Ray watching them.

"Mo, Stella, Jeanne. . .ready to go?" I asked.

"Yep." They said.

"Alright; let's go."

With that we walked out of the living room. I went into the kitchen and saw my mom with papers scattered around. I told her that I'll be going out with Mo, Stella and Jeanne that if she needed anything to call. She nodded her head and told me that later on she and dad were going to go to the orphanage. I nodded my head and walked out. We walked to Jeanne's car and Stella called shot gun. I rolled my eyes and so did Mo. We got into the car and settled down and waited for Jeanne to begin driving. Soon Jeanne pulled out of my driveway.

On the way to the karaoke place we began chatting about Rising Star. Stella said that we should do 'Determinate' since that was the fist song ever performed in front of everyone and got a good response. Jeanne agreed and so did Mo. Stella and Mo looked at me and I agreed too. All we needed to know was if Charlie and Wen were going to agree too. Once we arrived I saw that the karaoke place was called Kate's Karaoke.

"Welcome to Kate's Karaoke." This lady said as we entered. "I'm Kate the owner. Feel free to sit where ever you want. You can also go up and sing if you want."

We nodded our heads and she left. Five minutes later some guys appeared out of nowhere.

"Joe, Roy, Brett and Gary," said a blonde next to me, "look at what we have here. Four lovely girls, sitting alone. We should join them."

Jeanne was about to protest, but they sat down almost immediately. Soon they began talking and I was getting annoyed. I looked at the others and saw that Stella was close to flipping out. When the two people who were singing finished the DJ said that he was going to take a break.

"So are you girls on the market?" Brett, the blonde sitting next to me, asked.

"I'm off the market." I said. "My boyfriend's a jock and he absolutely hates it when guys hit on me. So you're lucky he's not here."

"Um. . .Livs," Mo said, "look at the entrance."

I turned around and saw that Ray and the other guys were here. The only person they were missing was Belle.

"You've got to be kidding me." I said.

We continued to stare at them until they turned around. We continued to look at each other until the guys that were hitting on us began talking again. I gave Ray a 'Help us' look and he motioned the guys towards us. They came our way and stood behind the guys hitting on us. They didn't notice a thing until Ray cleared his throat.

"Livs, babe, what a surprise." He said with calm. "Was this the karaoke place you were talking about?"

"Yes it is." I said getting up and pecking his lips.

I stood beside him and the other girls followed.

"Why don't we go find another place to sit?" Jeanne said.

We nodded our heads and left the four guys sitting by themselves. When we sat down I turned to look at them and saw that they were talking while glaring our way. I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

After a while I began to relax and joined in on the conversation Ray and the others were having. That was until Jeanne, Stella, Mo and I heard four male voices again.

"Hey girls why don't you ditch these losers and come hang out with us?"

I looked at him with a 'What the hell?' look and then looked at the others. They were all staring at one person: Ray who had a calm face, but if you looked at his knuckles you could see they were white with how much force Ray was putting in trying not to punch the guy. I gave the girls a worried look which they mirrored. I turned around and faced Brett again.

"No thanks. We'd rather stay here."

Brett grabbed my elbow and pulled me up from my seat. "Come on," he insisted, his mouth near my ear, "we can show you how real men show around the ladies."

"She said no." We all turned around and saw that Ray was standing up; his chair has fallen on the floor when he got up.

"Look," Brett said, "this has nothing to do with you."

"So you hitting on my girlfriend has nothing to do with me?" He asked his blue eyes turning an icy blue color that u couldn't see the pupil. "Are you an idiot?"

"Why I aught to," Brett said letting me go.

He went into a fighting stance and so did Ray. I tried stepping in between them, but was pulled back. I turned around to face the person and saw that it was Mo. Then we heard a smack. I turned back to face Ray and Brett and saw that Ray had stumbled back. Soon all hell broke loose. Punches we're being thrown and tackling each other was being done. Mo had pulled me further back and we were joined by Jeanne and Stella. Soon enough Brett's friends had joined in. Scott and the others decided to step in too. Everyone began stepping back further. Guys were hooting for the fight to keep going and the girls were stepping back even further. Then Brett did the unthinkable.

He grabbed a chair and hit Ray with it. I saw Ray stumble further and fall to the floor—him bleeding. I gasped and began running forward. The girls called to me, but I didn't listen. I saw that Brett was gonna hit him again so with a force that I didn't know I had I grabbed the chair, threw it aside and kicked him in the gut. He stumbled back and fell. I turned around and kneeled by Ray.

"Someone call 911!" Jeanne said. "Now!"

"Ray? Can you hear me?" I asked, but I got no response. "Ray!? Come on! Say something. Anything!"

I began crying hard and Mo with the help of Stella and Jeanne has to bring me up and away from Ray. Soon we heard the ambulance sirens. A minute later the paramedics began coming in. One asked what happened and Jeanne told him everything. He jot it down and told us that only two of could go in the ambulance with them. Mo said that she and I would go. He nodded his head and told us to follow him. Jeanne said that she, Stella and the others would meet us at the hospital. I nodded my head and we followed the guy. Soon enough we were on our way to the hospital. As the ambulance was moving the paramedics were looking over Ray and discussed the damage done. I, on the other hand, just looked forward. Staring at nothing in particular yet remembering every moment I had with Ray. Soon the ambulance came to a stop and the doors opened. No got off and I was helped off. They took Ray quickly to the hospital where we were met by a doctor.

He told us that we would have to wait here. We nodded our heads and sat down. Few minutes later we heard footsteps. Mo and I looked up ad saw that the others were here along with Ray's family. His mom came up to me and hugged me. She told me that it'll be alright and that it's not my fault. Half hour later the doctor came back out an told us that Ray will be fine. That he just needed some stitches. I heaved a sigh of relief and looked at the others. They were all smiling.

"Doc," I said, "do you think I could go see him?"

"Sure. Follow me."

With that I followed him to Ray's room. Once there he walked away and I took a deep breath. I opened the door and saw that Ray was laying there looking out the window. When I closed the door he faced me and smiled. I smiled a teary smile and went to hug him crying.

"Shh Livs it's alright." He said soothingly. "I'm okay."

"I thought I lost you." I said. "You got hit with the chair and you were bleeding. I thought you were going to die."

He cupped my cheek and made me look at him. "I won't ever leave you. Nothing will separate me from you."

"And nothing will separate me from you." I said.

With that we kissed. Soon it became deeper and more passionate. When air became necessary we broke apart. We continued talking until the doctor told us that he's being discharged. I helped him get up and walk out the door. We spent the rest of the day with the guys and his family. When it was time for all of to go home we went our separate ways except for me, Ray and his family. They dropped me of at my house and I asked Ray one last time if he was going to be fine. He reassured me and we kissed goodnight. When I walked into the house my mom asked me if I wanted dinner. I told her that I already ate and that I was heading to bed early. She nodded her was and wished me goodnight. Once I was ready for bed I laid down. As soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep. All my worries dimmed down.

The next day I woke up a little later than normal. I got up from my bed and went to do my morning routine. Once I finished I went downstairs and went into the kitchen. Sitting at the table was my mom, dad, Scott, Mo, Jeanne, Stella, Charlie and Wen. They were all eating breakfast. I sat down next to Mo and my mom gave me a plate of food. She told me and Scott that she and dad have a surprise for us. Scott and I exchanged looks. Once we all finished eating breakfast the doorbell rang. Mom went to get it. We heard her talking and soon we heard the front door shutting.

"Scott, Olivia," she called, "come see the surprise."

With that Scott and I walked to where she was. Standing there with her was the person I promised I would go see and said person said he would keep me to it.

Well that was chapter twelve. Guess who it the person is! Tell me in your reviews. And i noticed over the period of time that i got over sixty reviews! YAY! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING! You know that right?

Anyways chapter thirteen will be when Olivia confronts Wen and Charlie about them not asking Jeanne and Stella out yet and the mystery person will be introduced.

If you guys have any idea how Wen and Charlie should ask out Jeanne and Stella PLEASE tell me! I need ideas and I've been having writers block! Not fun! *pouts* Anyways, please tell me in your reviews, or PM me (whichever), if you guys have ideas for Wen and Charlie asking out Jeanne and Stella or if you want any of your ideas in here.

Btw, in a later chapter (haven't figured out when) Olivia and the gang are going to go visit Olivia's mom's grave and the three songs will be sang and an unexpected guest will be there too. So look forward to that.

Now Rising Star will prolly be in chapter fourteen or so. Gotta get to that first.

But should I have them visit Olivia's mom's grave first or Rising Star first? HELP ME! PLEASE!

For those that don't know what Rising Star is, it's when a band competes with another and then they decide on a winner. I think its something like that. Anyways. . .
