The weekend is here, which means it's time for Kelly's second date with Ted.
Since Mike and Eve were both attending the same charity event they all decided to make it a double-date.
Arriving in Ted's fancy car, Kelly felt like a pampered Queen, in her shiny red dress with her big black heels. Her hair was curled with a small red bow clipping her bangs out of her face, she had lite make-up on and a vibrant smile to make her look complete.
She walked alongside Ted, with her arm wrapped in his as he escorted her into this small, nicely lit up restaurant.
"I'm not overdressed am I?" Kelly asked, worried about sticking out like a sore thumb in such a small, unnoticed place.
"A little bit." Ted smiled down at her, "But after all, it is a charity event, people love to flash off their fancy belongings." Pulling the door open, Ted stood back, allowing Kelly to enter first, Eve and Mike following behind her.
Kelly looked around the place, it had a small stage in the center, with tables all around it, It wasn't a huge fancy restaurant like she expected from Ted, it was small, but elegant. She liked it.
"This place is gorgeous." Kelly smiled.
Ted let out a laugh, "You don't have to lie, Kelly. Don't worry, this should only take a few minutes, then we'll be out of here and on our way to a real restaurant." he lightly patted her back, smiling at her.
"Ah, there's my Dad. Kelly why don't you choose a table and I'll be with you in just a few minutes okay?"
"Okay." She smiled, watching Ted walk over to his Dad.
"So, Eve, Mike... Where do you wanna sit?"
"Preferably the farthest table from the stage. That way we have a better chance of not hearing them try to sing." Mike sighed, taking a seat next to Eve who sat across the table from Kelly.
Eve rolled her eyes,
"They're not that bad." She looked over at Kelly, "They only hate this place because you can get a meal for less than $100." Both Kelly and Eve chuckled."
"Yeah, a "meal"..." Mike added his two cents.

A few minutes passed and Ted was back to his group, he moved his seat even closer to Kelly's in a charming manner, after a few more minutes passed and they all begin talking, The lights were dimmed and a young, pale beauty with lots of dark make-up and hair as black as the midnight sky, appeared on stage.
"Hey, how are you guys doing tonight?" She spoke into the microphone with her strong accent, "My name is Paige, I'm one part of the band "Poisoned Desires" The other part is running late of course.." letting out a small chuckle.
"But that's alright, because that gives me the opportunity to spend a little extra time with all of you." She smiled as people in the tables started clapping and cheering.
As this happened, she saw her co-singer pass by in the corner of her eye, giving her the thumbs up.
"Alright, it looks like we're ready to start this up. But before we do, I just want to take a second to thank each and every one of you for coming out here tonight and for helping us keep this place going, We wouldn't be able to do it without you, We love you guys!"
Music started playing as colored lights begin to shine on the stage.
No one at Kelly's table really paid attention to what was happening on stage, they were all lost in conversation. They began singing and Ted sighed,
"And here we go..." flagging down one of the waiters.
But as they all gave the waiter their orders, Something instantly caught Kelly's attention, The voice she was hearing, she's heard it before. Her attention quickly turned towards the stage, and she saw him.
Phillip was on stage, singing one of their most famous songs alongside Paige.
Kelly couldn't hold her smile back, it was like every time she saw him, it just lit her up inside.
"Hello?.. Kelly!" Eve snapped her fingers in front of Kelly's face.
When she looked back at Eve, she noticed they were all staring at her confused.
"Uh.. Sorry. What's up?" Kelly replied, glancing at Ted then back to Phillip on Stage.
"Well we were talking about movies," They continued to ramble on and on, mostly about stuff Kelly had no interest in at all. It didn't bother her, as she spaced out on watching Phillip perform. It was like the whole room around her just disappeared. All but him.
