Chastity Belt
Epilogue
A/N: As usual, I am so sorry for the extremely long wait. You guys are champs for hanging in there. Really thank you guys for sticking with this unreliable author. I am not worthy. It's been a long time coming, but here it finally is. The last installment of Chastity Belt.
"I'm sorry Itachi-kun. I can't do this. I can't marry you."
There was silence between the two as obsidian orbs stoically stared into teary green eyes. Dainty hands clutched at the white fabric of her wedding dress in distress when the groom to be merely raised an eyebrow in response to her rejection. Realizing Itachi wasn't taking her seriously, the bride's cheeks flushed in frustration.
"Did you hear me?" she huffed, "I don't want to marry you!"
The formally dressed ravenette seemed nonplussed.
"I do not wish to marry you either," he revealed nonchalantly.
Not expecting this development, the pinkette squawked. "What?"
"I am not attracted to you. I love you, but only platonically. Therefore, I do not wish to marry you," the questioned man clarified, "Foolish little brother."
The poser pinkette stiffened, paling as the Uchiha heir smirked forebodingly. "What gave me away?"
"Sakura is not as graceful as you are in heels," the older of the two confided.
Silence reigned between the two until Sasuke finally succumbed to his panic. "Father and Mother are not to be told of this occurrence. Especially Mother. She'd want to take pictures."
"I really would not blame her," Itachi excused, delivering a fond poke to his brother's henged forehead, "You look so cute, foolish little brother. Even so, please return the dress to Sakura, preferably before she discovers you wearing it."
Still donning Sakura's likeness, Sasuke fought off his embarrassment, threw his brother one last mighty glare and sashayed away with a gait that would have made the real pinkette green with envy.
"Sasuke." Hearing his beloved brother call him anything other than 'foolish little brother', caused his saunter to falter to a clumsy stop.
"Sakura and I," Itachi continued upon gaining his brother's attention, "We love each other. We love each other, but we will always love you too. You will always be her grouchy, bastardly teammate. And you will always be my foolish, little brother."
Standing much too still and not bothering to turn around, Sasuke slowly nodded his head before purposely marching away in Sakura's stilettos.
"Sasuke-kun?" Sakura timidly questioned, "Are you c-crying?"
At his silence, the once weary woman switched into Mama-bear mode. "Are you in any pain? Did someone say something mean to you or hurt your feelings? Who hurt you? I'll kick their ass right here and now. No. Wait. I'll round up Itachi and the rest of the gang so we can take turns kicking this bully's ass. We'll get your mother to take pictures."
"Allergies," the subtlety sniffling, puffy-eyed Uchiha suspected of crying cut in before his fierce teammate could start a mob to avenge him, "All these damn flowers that damn Yamanaka picked out."
Ass-kicking riot averted and Mama-bear medic subdued, the formally attired mess-of-a-man moved to deliver a dress.
"Why do you have my wedding gown?" the pinkette hedged as the ravenette carefully handed her the garment. The sudden line of questioning caused her beloved bastard to blanch. When he remained as silent as a stereotypical Uchiha was prone to do, she again prompted him, "Sasuke-kun."
Be it their years of friendship or Sakura's uncanny ability to mimic Mikoto's scolding tone, the usually ice cube cold Sasuke lost his cool and began to melt into a nervous puddle. "…Allergies?"
Sakura just shook her head, dismissing him after discerning that her dress was still immaculate. Secretive as Sasuke tried to be, he was liable to babble to Naruto who was liable to babble to everyone. She'd get the story later, but for now, she had a wedding to get ready for.
As she shimmied on her dress, she tensed as she was encompassed in Sasuke's usually delicate scent. Yes, she resolved, she'd definitely have to get that story later.
Shockingly, Hatake Kakashi was early on this momentous occasion.
Like the fine shinobi he was, Konoha's Copy-Nin had come prepared today. Hair teased just so, most uncomfortable clothes and his fanciest mask; he was ready to attend a wedding. Full chakra reserves, a detailed escape plan and enough concealed weaponry to supply a five-nation shinobi alliance; he was just as ready to crash one.
Some might call him paranoid, but those who did were fools who didn't understand the danger and complexity of his grand mission. After all, he had to infiltrate a den of Uchiha, fight off their formidable alpha and shepherd his student to safety all the while evading pursuit from Konoha's finest. His only ally was himself. His cute kouhai had refused to aid him on this risky venture. His friends and Hokage had all turned against him for the promise of free booze at the reception. Sai and Naruto had balked, claiming to be happy for the rosette when they were really just terrified of her wrath. Sasuke, his once most avid supporter, had caved and betrayed him. Even his lovely little blossom seemed dead-set on becoming a martyr. He stood alone, but he stood strong. It was nearly impossible, practically suicide, but Kakashi would dare to do the undoable for the sake of his darling daughter figure.
As if his over-protective, fatherly thoughts summoned her, Sakura appeared in a dress as white as a lamb which only added to Kakashi's previous imagery. "Kakashi-sensei? Shouldn't you be seated?"
"Sakura-chan, you look beautiful." Like he intended, her cheeks rosied, her smile widened and her mind forgot its previous question. Even if he said it to derail her attention, he meant every word.
Bashfully, the blushing blossom batted at him in embarrassment. "You're such a sap Sensei."
"Only for my favorite student," he assured.
"Now, now Kaka-sensei," she chuckled, "Don't let the boys know I'm your favorite."
"Very well," he agreed amicably, "Speaking of the boys, you smell strangely like Sasuke. Did you borrow his body wash again or did you sow some wild oats?"
"Sensei!" she scolded sharply, narrowly refraining from committing elder abuse.
"I know," he placated, sighing in sorrow. He shot her his most effective, one-eyed puppy dog look. Even with his mask, Sakura could tell he was pouting, "I just always hoped you and one of the boys would end up together. We could have had the wedding at our training grounds and the reception at Ichiraku's. And then you would have named your first born after me. It's still not too late. "
Sakura could only shake her head at her mentor's shipping ways. "Kakashi-sensei, that will never happen. I love Itachi. I love the boys too, but only as pesky brothers. Besides, Naruto and Sasuke will likely name their respective firstborns after their signature attacks or favorite foods."
Kakashi let out a forlorn sigh, head dropping in acknowledgement. "You're right."
"Anyways, you should go get seated," Sakura playfully pushed the silver-haired nin.
"Actually," he beamed, "I'm here to walk you down the aisle. Your father had an unfortunate accident and asked me to take his place."
"Kakashi-sensei," her tone was foreboding as she shot him the stink eye, "What did you do to my father?"
"Nothing. His old age is just catching up to him," he answered with careless cheer. Sakura highly doubted his reply, but decided to roll with it. Kakashi had shown up on time and dressed for once, so she figured she could overlook his suspicious behavior for now. Her father was probably just fine. Or at the least, he was still alive. Probably. If it was anything serious, she'd help Kakashi's old age catch up to him too.
After adjusting her escort's tie, she looped her arm through his offered one and they were off…in the wrong direction.
"Sensei," she tugged him to a stop in exasperation, pointing backwards, "The wedding's that way."
"Ah, but Sakura-chan," he chirped, pointlessly pulling her and pointing frontwards, "Freedom is this way."
"If you walk out those doors with me in tow, you're literally going to have every ninja in Konoha after you," she tried to reason, but her instructor would not hear of it.
"Don't you worry your pretty little pink-haired head," he gave her forehead a fond finger jab, "Sensei's got a plan and plenty of projectiles to protect you."
"That's sweet and all, but I want to get married , specifically to Uchiha Itachi, specifically right now," she deadpanned, applying chakra-enhanced to strength to drag her stand-in father towards her waiting groom, "So help me, I will either drag your ass with me or shake you off and walk myself down that damn aisle."
Kakashi whimpered and clung to his student with all his might as his plan began backfiring horribly. It was at this moment that the smiling mother duo of Mebuki and Mikoto appeared, handy cameras in tow. The blinding flash of light and subsequent giggles interrupted the conflicting comrades. "Just a couple of quick photos before the ceremony starts," Mikoto explained, lowering her camera to fondly beam at her pending daughter-in-law, "Oh Sakura-chan, you are so lovely."
"Yes, my baby girl, you have truly blossomed. Smart, confident and kind with a beautiful smile to boot," her mother choked out through her happy tears, hand softly tracing her daughters face.
"Don't forget fierce. Little Sakura-chan doesn't take shit from anyone!" a boisterous voice rang out from behind her as an arm draped over the bride's shoulders. Tsunade, cheeks pinkened by a mixture of alcohol and happiness, grinned proudly as the others chuckled in agreement.
"Thank you," Sakura beamed, cheeks burning at all the compliments.
"Well we better head back to our seats. Sooner the ceremony is over, the sooner the party starts," Tsunade shamelessly reasoned, looping her arms through Mebuki's and Mikoto's arms, "Where's Kizashi? Shouldn't he be up here to walk Sakura down the aisle?"
"Well there has been an unfortunate accident and Kakashi graciously offered to walk with Sakura-chan instead," her mother explained, her sarcasm and suspicion thoroughly evident. At her side, Kakashi chuckled uneasily under her mother's stink eye. It was clear that the two would have some words afterwards.
"Oh, poor Kizashi. That really is unfortunate, but I'm sure Kakashi will do just fine," the Uchiha matriarch said, the threatening gleam in her eyes spelling disaster for Kakashi should he somehow screw things up.
"He better, or I'll sentence him to a year of catching Tora the cat," the Hokage huffed good-naturedly. The already nervous nin let out another strained chuckle.
As the trio of women ambled away, Sakura gave her teacher an ultimatum, "Alright Kakashi-sensei, either you walk me down that aisle willingly or I'll get Captain Yamato or Fugaku-sama to sub in. I'm sure they would be more than happy."
Accepting his defeat with a tired sigh, the celebrated son of the White Fang gave a miserable nod as he straightened and offered his arm to the pinkette. "Thanks Kaka-sensei. This really means a lot to me," Sakura spoke cheerfully as she hugged his arm.
As he trudged along with her in tow, he felt the exact moment Sakura saw her groom to be. He peaked a look only to find her smiling peacefully, her green eyes alight with love. He went to shoot her groom a glare, only to go unnoticed. Itachi stood waiting at the end of their path, his eyes only for Sakura. The same peace and love that Sakura held for him was returned in those oynx eyes of his. At this, Kakashi's resistance slipped away.
Before Kakashi knew it, it was time for him to part ways with Sakura. It was hard to let go, but her insured happiness made it easier. Seeing a bit of nervousness warm Sakura's cheeks, he shot her a smile and gave her hand a comforting squeeze before uniting her with Itachi. The groom's gaze gleamed with gratitude and Sakura whispered her thanks as the Copy Nin retreated to his seat.
For the rest of the ceremony, Kakashi found his mouth fondly quirking into a hidden smile as the cute couple fumbled through their vows and exchanging rings. Ino and Shisui good-humoredly heckled the couple from their posts of maid of honor and best man respectively. Their heckling was joined by a jolly outburst from Tsunade commanding the two ninjas to get their shit together. A similar sentiment from Naruto was violently cut off by Sasuke. For once, the usually uptight Fugaku was too happy to give his customary disapproving frown. But as blundering as the two were through the whole ceremony, their mouths met gracefully when it came time for their kiss.
"Oh no," Sakura said through a smile, "Lee found the alcohol."
"So it seems," Itachi spoke from her side observing the chaos of their reception party.
The couple observed as the aforementioned green beast shrugged off his teammates, slurring his undying love for Konoha's cherry blossom. The rampaging drunk made his way over to the two, clasping both of their hands in his. Itachi could only quirk an eyebrow as the bowl-cut bearing boy promised to be his eternal rival in love. The newlyweds could only sigh in relief as sand seized Lee and dragged him into the sand siblings' custody. The Kazekage gave an acknowledging nod to the couple as they thanked him.
"So glad Gaara came," Sakura sighed, eyes darting off to where Naruto and Sasuke had entered some sort of strange drinking/arm wrestling contest "If only there was someone who could wrangle my teammates."
"And Shisui," Itachi added, spying his cousin hitting on everything with legs.
"And Ino," Sakura deadpanned, spotting her blonde friend shamelessly doing the same.
" Jiraiya-sama and Hokage-sama too," Itachi intoned reverently. The two Sannin were causing a ruckus that not even Shizune could quell. They sighed in unison as a table met its demise at the hands of an enraged and intoxicated Tsunade. Probably something the old pervert said.
Distracting his wife from the chaos of their reception party, Itachi turned her attention to their opened gifts, "What will we ever do with all this ramen?"
"Oh don't worry, I'm pretty sure Naruto gave us this with the intention of eating it all eventually," Sakura theorized.
"I suppose the tomatoes will similarly be taken care of by my foolish, little brother," Itachi speculated in turn.
"Same thing with the sake Tsunade-sama gave us," the pinkette pouted.
"At least Sai's was thoughtful," she sighed as she observed the portrait. It hadn't been much of a surprise, seeing as the couple had to pose for it, but it was lovely nonetheless. "I'm still not sure what to make of the sand siblings' gift. What will we even do with that many cacti?
"Strategically plant them to ward off Shisu?" Itachi suggested.
Thinking back on his inappropriate gifts to aid their marriage consummation, Sakura was quick to agree. "And Ino," the blonde ball of the party's gift was just as inappropriate, "She's just as bad."
"I actually liked her gift," Itachi confided, making Sakura blush, "Those pink, fuzzy handcuffs would match your hair," he leaned in close to whisper in her ear, "And that cute blush."
"Oh," smirking deviously, Sakura was quick to recover and sass right back, "I thought those were to be used on you, but we can always ask Ino-pig to be sure."
"You wouldn't," Itachi deadpanned, knowing all the while that she sure as hell would.
Sakura just gave a devious smirk living up to the Uchiha name. "You regret saying I do yet?"
"You'd have to do more than that," he promised.
"Good," Sakura smiled, "because there's no refunds. Now let's make a run for it while we can."
Their progression to the door was slowed by copious well wishes from everyone, the loudest of which came from Naruto. The couple skillfully navigated through obstacles like their clingy mothers and their embarrassing best friends. At last they made it to the exit. The only thing separating them from freedom was one very determined Hatake Kakashi.
"Sensei," Sakura practically groaned out, so done with her sensei and his shenanigans.
He gave a smile, "I'm not here to stop you. I'm here to apologize for my behavior and to congratulate you. And…" he moved to hand them something, "to give you this."
In true Kakashi fashion, the gift was not wrapped and seemed to be an afterthought. It was also strange and slightly perverse just like the beloved leader of team seven.
"Kakashi-sensei this is…" Sakura trailed off, hesitant to accept her teacher's gift, "your Icha Icha."
Itachi, eager to get off the Copy Nin's hit list, was quick to accept the orange book. "Thank you, Kakashi-senpai."
Happy to be appreciated, Kakashi gave the Uchiha a nod. Turning to Sakura, his eyes began to shine with unshed tears.
"Take care, Sakura-chan," he said, reaching forward to fondly poke her forehead. Yet again, Kakashi, the Copycat ninja had struck again and stolen a move from an Uchiha.
Finally free, the couple turned to their guests to offer one last send off.
"Thanks and goodbye everyone!"
And with that, Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sakura left as husband and wife, Hatake Kakashi's Icha Icha in hand, ready to give them plenty ideas on how to unlock Sakura's metaphorical chastity belt.

Author's Note: I just want to thank each and everyone of you all for all the support you guys have given me through the years. I really couldn't have made it without ya'll. Naruto is over and now so is this story. It has certainly been a ride though and I'm glad I had you all as company.
I really am so truly sorry that it took me so long to finish this. I've always had confidence issues even when sharing my stories, but it got a little worse this past year. The truth is, I've had this chapter written for a while, I just couldn't bring myself to post it. But I reread all the reviews and looked at how many of you were waiting for me to get over myself and finish what I started, and I was able to overcome my cowardice. So really, when I say I couldn't have done it without you, I mean it. I am slowly getting better thanks to the courage everyone gives me and I hope to keep writing fanfiction for Naruto even though the series is over and I am nothing, but a timid soul.
This chapter was mostly to tie up lose ends and appease my need to write more Daddy!Kakashi. I can only hope that it was worth at least part of the wait. In other spoiler news, Itachi and Sakura are at least canonly sibling-in-laws! I can't believe how it all turned out, but I'm just so happy to be apart of this crazy fandom family.
Anyways, like Itachi and Sakura said, "Thanks and goodbye everyone!"
Love,
Dotti3
