Well here is the next chapter and I know it has been a very long time, but I found the chapters for this story. So, I am going to try to finish this story. The next morning, I wake up and see that Sam has already left for work. There was a note that was laying on his pillow. I slowly grabbed it and read what it said as I looked to see that it was a little after 9:00 in the morning. I sat up to read his note.

"Sorry to leave without saying goodbye, but I didn't want to wake you. I will be home by 2:00 so we can go to the appointment. I love you; I left some crackers and water on the nightstand. Take it easy and enjoy your day, take a bubble bath of something. I will see you soon, love you Rach. Love Sam."

I smiled at how sweet Sam was and picked up the crackers to eat some. After having a few I put them back on the nightstand and picked the water up to take a few slow sips. I put the water down and decided to lay down for a few minutes to let it settle.

The next time I opened my eyes it was a little after 10 figuring that I had dosed off. I slowly got up and made my way to the bathroom deciding to take a bubble bath like Sam had said. It was nice to just set back and relaxed and listen to music.

Once I was done, I walked in to get dressed I put on a purple top that had lace on the shoulders. Then a black skirt with ruffles. I grabbed some white flats and slipped them on. I walked over to my jewelry box and grabbed some out. I put my 'I love you to the moon and back' neckless on from Sam. Then some dangle star earrings. I grabbed my purple bag and sunglasses then made my way into the kitchen. I chose to me some toast which would be easy to eat and made some quick and ate before I walked out. After I left and headed out to go do something until the appointment. By the time I was out the door it was a little after 11:30 and I chose to make my way to the park. After a few minutes my phone started to ring. I picked it up to see that it was Santana and answered.

"Hey girl what are you up to?" I asked her.

"Not a whole lot, what about you?"'

"Just walking in fact I'm right by your place."

"How about you come up I could use your help."

"Sure"

"How long tell you get here?"

"About two minutes" I told her.

"Ok see you when you get here."

"Alright bye" we hang up and I make my way to her place. Once I was there, she buzzed me up and I made my way to her door. Once there I quickly knocked.

"Come on in Rach" she called out to me.

I opened the door and walked in only to see Santana in a towel in the living room.

"Really Santana?"

"What its not like you have never seen it all before anyway."

"But still Santana what if I was someone else what about then?"

"Not too worried."

"Of course, you are not."

"Well maybe you can help. I have a dinner with Britt tonight and can't decide on what to wear. Its with people she works with, so I need to look good. You know these people better than I do."

"Alright show me what you have so far."

For the next half hour Santana showed me different outfits she was thinking. In the end we picked a red cocktail dress for her because it was a nicer place they were going to.

"So, what are your plans for the day?" She asked me once she was done changing.

"Well Sam and I are going to go out to a late lunch after he gets off at 2." I told her which was not a complete lie because we sere going to get food after our appointment.

"That sounds nice any special reason?"

"Not too much, we are back in New York safe and sound. I had an amazing show that ended right before we left for Lima. Both of us are doing really good and on top of that we are surrounded by friends. So, life is pretty good. We just want to enjoy when things are good."

"Very Rachel answer, so if you love preforming so much why take time off?"

"Because I need rest and relaxation so I would be at 150% each performance and every person in every show is able to enjoy it as much as the very first time I perform. Plus, we are all going to Lima in a few months as well for our once a year get together. If I started another show now, I would miss opening week because we would all be in Lima and we all made a promise to never miss one of our get together's. We are hardly all together anymore. I want to make the most of all the time we can get. Plus, I have one year left of school and I want to be able to give it my all."

"I guess that makes sense. Are both of you going to be able to get it off?"

"We do every other year, it's a week that we always make sure we have so we can spend time with all of our friend and people that we love so much."

We talk for a while longer when Brittney came home which turned into all of us talking and laughing having a good time. After a little while I looked at my phone to see that it was 2:00 which meant I needed to get home to meet Sam.

"Well I have had fun, but I need to get home to meet Sam."

"Have fun" Santana said.

"You both as well, see you later."

"By Rachie" Britt said as we hugged goodbye and I made my way out.

I hurried the block and a half from there place to mine and Sam's and then made my way up to our apartment.

Once I walked in I saw Sam's back by the door, so I made my way to our room to see Sam in a towel getting dressed. He looked over to me and smiled.

"Hi sweetie, I got back a little early so I figured I would shower fast I am almost ready."

"I'm getting all kinds of towel action today."

"What do you mean?"

"I went to Santana's and Britt's and when I got there Santana was in a towel walking around."

"So that's where you were."

"Yes, Santana needed help to pick an outfit for tonight out. After that we just talked and hung out then Britt got home, and we all talked more tell I left to meet you here."

"Sounds like a good afternoon, how about your morning?"

"Had my crackers and a bubble bath, a pretty easy morning. I do need to say thank you because the crackers really helped."

"Anytime my beautiful wife." He walked up to me as he pulled his shirt on and then kissed me.

"Are you ready to go?" he asked me.

"I am" I told him with a smile. He grabbed his wallet and keys before grabbing my hand and we made our way down to our car.

Once we were in, we made our way to the doctor's office to see our baby for the first time I hopped.

Once we got there, we made our way in and I went to check in. once I was, I walked over to one of the chairs with Sam. I looked around the room and saw a few other couples all at different part of their pregnancy a few that had young babies. We were waiting for a little when they came out.

"Rachel Evens" the nurse called, and Sam and I got up and followed her back. She had Sam wait in the room. While she did the weigh in and things then we made our way to the room as well. She asked a few questions and told us that the doctor would be in a few minutes.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm good a little nervous but over all I'm doing good what about you Sam?"

"I just can't wait to find out how our baby is doing."

"I know as long as everything is good with the baby I will be happy."

"Me to" he said and grabbed my hand.

Just then the doctor walked in, she was the OBGYN that a cast mate had went to and she loved her.

"Hello Rachel, I'm Doctor Smith."

"Hello, this is my husband Sam."

"Its nice to meet you both. In fact, you look familiar where do you work?" she asked Sam.

"I'm a paramedic"

"Ok I have seen you around the hospital."

"I believe I have seen you as well."

"Although I do have to say you did amazing in your play, it was absolutely wonderful. I saw it a few times."

"Well thank you Sara told me you were the best around."

"Well thank you, she is definitely very kind and sweet."

We got started and she asked questions getting information the she needed from me.

"Should we see if we are able to hear a heartbeat then?"

"Yes please" I told her. She had me lay back and pull my top up.

"The gel will be kind of cold." She put the gel on then started to move the wand around after a moment she pointed to the screen and the room was filled with the sound of the heartbeat of our child I smiled as Sam grabbed my hand as we both just staring at the screen.

"So, there is the baby, everything is looking good you are 8 weeks which will mean you are due February 12." Once she was done telling us everything, she handed me the sonogram pictures.

"Go ahead and make your next appointment up at the front desk and I will see you in a few weeks." Sam and I thanked her and said goodbye then mad our way to the front. I made the next appointment before we left. We made our way to get some food before we made our way home for the night. It was 3:30 now, and I knew it would be after 4 by the time we got home with our food.

After getting our dinner we made our way home and by the time we walked in the door it was a little after 5. I got out some dishes and got our food as Sam helped take it to the table.

"So, 4 weeks to keep it from everyone else." Sam said after a little.

"Well more like 3 and a half but it will feel like forever with our friends."

"I know it will be a long few weeks, but we can do it."

"Yes, we can plus its going to be just us here that knows for a little like our own secret."

"I like that."

"I do to" we finished dinner having a little small talk about the baby then watched some tv before we went off to bed.

"Night Rach, I love you." Sam kissed my head and pulled me closer to him.

"I love you to Sam good night." Then we went to sleep.
