"Let's get out of here." Peter said in a hushed tone, shaking his head back and forth, as if trying to shake away the depressing thoughts. "Come on, just for a minute."

"I can't, if my parents see me leaving they'd kill me."

Peter grinned. "Your parents won't see you leaving." He pulled his suit back up and stood. He pulled Gwen to her feet and to the window. Peter had to practically drag her onto the fire escape. He wrapped his arm around her waist and held her close to him.

"Oh dear God in heaven, why am I letting him do this?"

That was all Gwen could think as Peter, Spider-Man, jumped out her twenty third story window. They fell ten stories, free falling through the air. Gwen screamed and wrapped her arms around Peter's neck, holding on for dear life.

Peter seemed calm as ever as he lifted his arm and touched a black pad in his palm with his middle and ring finger. A web shot out and latched onto a building at least a hundred feet away. And suddenly, they were flying. Gwen squealed, but of delight this time.

"I'm flying through New York a hundred stories up!" She shouted. She pulled herself up and pecked Peter on the cheek.

Peter gave her that lopsided grin of his. "It's great, isn't it?"

"It's amazing. You, you are amazing, Peter." Gwen rested her head on his shoulder, and watched New York soar by in a view nobody had ever seen before. Nobody but her amazing Spider-Man.

Author's Note:Oh dear God, me, and this fandom, I cannot stop. I think nothing short of owning The Amazing Spider-Man and novelizing every single moment of that movie will make me happy. For now, I'll have to continue playing the video game, watching cartoons and reading my grandma's old comics. :P
