She had watched him walk off, limping slightly and bleeding heavily from his shoulder.

It was obvious that he had been attacked and that he was in serious pain, yet every offer she made to assist him was denied and then he told her, "Forget that I was ever here…"

How on Earth could she be expected to forget seeing Lieutenant Colonel Hughes bleeding profusely?

It was, after all, a stark contrast to the way she normally saw him. As the secretary in charge of monitoring the phone lines it was her job to make sure soldiers like him didn't dally around all day on the phone.

On any given day at the office, she'd see Lt. Hughes saunter over to one of the open phones near the back of the room. He liked to act as though he had some big secret to hide, even though she could hear him, loud as ever talking about his family or calling up his wife to find out how his little Elicia was.

When she'd snap and tell him he'd spent far too long on the phone he'd stroll over to her with that quirky grin on his and flash her as many photos as he could.

"Awe! But Angela, my adorable Elicia needs to talk with her daddy. Please, just 5 more minutes! How can you say no to this face?"

It didn't work on her though…not anymore.

She thought it was sweet that he took such an interest in his child but she detested the fact that he was constantly asking for more time. It was as if he were doing it to undermine her position. As minuscule as it was she enjoyed being known as a Private in the military.

How was she to sit by and watch this familiar face wander off to who knows where with such an injury?

'How did he get hurt like that?'

The trouble was, he was a Lieutenant Colonel and she had to respect the authority that his rank gave him, no matter how wrong it felt to her.

Still if it would keep him out of trouble perhaps it would be best to inform someone of what she had seen.

After all if this one phone call could help him, then what was the harm?

'Who could have harmed him inside of Central Headquarters?'

She felt over the phone handset and prepared to pick it up but she was abruptly stopped from moving any further by an unknown presence behind her.

She turned around to find herself being confronted a beautiful woman in a long black dress and a short fat man, with peculiar looking eyes.

"I thought the Lieutenant Colonel told you not to tell anyone he was here." Her voice was callous

"Who…who are you?" she could sense that whatever trouble had found Lt. Hughes, had just found her. She was already shaking with a horrific feeling anticipation as the fat man began licking his lips.

He then looked up to the woman, as a small child would to their mother, and he asked "Can I eat her now, Lust? I'm so hungry." He whined

Lust eyed the trembling woman, who was too frightened to even attempt to run, and said "Go right ahead Gluttony but remember, don't leave a mess."

Gluttony devoured the poor woman with giddy delight.

After Hughes had been found outside in the phone booth, the investigations department found its way to Private Angela.

She spoke softly of his last movements before existing the building, while a steady stream of tears feel from her eyes.

Envy was having way too much fun with this. It was a pity he'd been ordered to stay clear of Hughes' funeral. It'd be really something to see that pathetic widow of his in tears.

AN: So yeah that's what I think happened. I'm probably way off. I'll bet she just sat there and did nothing, didn't even think about doing anything. Who knows?

If you liked it let me know :D
