I do not own transformers. Sadly.
Autumn smiled sadly as her song drove to a close and leaned her head back against her brother's messy bed. The song reminded her so much of herself. She sighed and rested the guitar across her lap as she enjoyed that moment of peace, where her entire mind just went blank and she was just left with the music. No Sunstreaker clouding her mind. No school work. No Mario disturbing the house. Nothing.
Not even the miniature Megatron and Starscream figures pointing just as tiny weapons at her. Wait...what...?...
Autumn hissed at the feeling of small but larger than she expected bullets propelled herself into the skin in her arm. She jumped up to her feet and landed tripping over her old guitar in her haste to move away from the two characters.
"What the hell?" She murmured gripping her wrist, "that hurt."
"Shut up you worthless squishy!" The Megatron figurine fired at her again and missed as she jumped out of the way, "where am I?!"
"Why is everything so big?" Starscream screeched before turning an accusatory digit in her direction, "You! I demand that you tell us where we are."
Autumn's brow twitched and she wished for a moment that she lived inside an anime, if only to get one of those angry marks over her head.
Demand.
This four inch figurine had the ordacity to rudely demand information out of her. A dark look suddenly appeared in her eyes and her entire body posture changed. Starscream looked a little less sure of himself suddenly and confusion quickly spread through his frame, knowing without have to have actually met the girl that he had crossed an unspoken line by the way her body faced them full on and her shoulders pulled tense and strait. And then there was a malicious look to her glossy eyes, cold and calculating. It was the same look he often received from Megatron when he upset him. The aforementioned leader however did not seem to have the same survival instincts as he arrogantly glared at the girl even though he only came up to below her ankle.
"I would be more care full when taking to a person that can squish you easily by accident," she whispered with a creepy smile. Her eyes widened when she fully took in Megatron's tiny frame and burst out laughing. The MIGHTY and POWERFULL Megatron, leader of the Decepticon army was trapped in the small body of a Lego figurine that stood no taller than her ankle.
"Are you glitched?" The grey bot screeched when she promptly fell over holding her sides as she roared out in laughter.
"Hey don't call me crazy," she snapped, "I stopped fighting the voices in my head, and we're on the same side now."
"Primus," Starscream whispered, "she's even worse than lugnut."
"Not true," Autumn looked somewhat disappointed and sighed, "He's got three different personalities. I can't compete with that."
"How do you know of them?" The grey bot sneered. Autumn's smile dropped. She realized her mistake all too quickly and cursed her life when she saw the figures raise their guns again. Thinking quickly, she scrambled to her feet, grabbed the so called leader and threw him into the hamster cage on her brother's desk, "Release me!"
"Well I would," she rolled her eyes and dropped the other con in beside him, "but poor Fatty would be all alone then."
"Who?" Starscream screeched. He raised his gun at her and for a moment, Autumn really thought that he was going to fire at her. That is until Fatty managed to wiggle himself out of his little mushroom house to greet the new comers and promptly pushed them over with his nose before sitting on them. She smiled at the overweight hamster and listened to the warlord rage from under the fur before she rolled her eyes and left the room with a sigh.
"Warlords and diapers have one thing in common," she said as she shut the door behind her, "they both need to be changed regularly and for the same reason."
By the time Autumn had walked back to her room, her lighter mood had died away as the problems they were facing came back to the forefront of her mind. She sighed and wondered what they were going to do about it when she stepped into the room and was ambushed by a flying streak of red.
"Sideswipe?" she asked when she noticed the happy look in his optics.
"Thank you squishy," he said gripping onto her trousers, "you gave me back Sunny"
"Don't call me that!" Autumn's head shot up when she saw the small bot, still made of plastic although she knew that would change in a few hours. Sunstreaker was just as she had imagined him to be from how she had often seen him in the cartoons. His armor was still fresh from the coat of paint she had given it and she noticed the cold gleam that waited in his optics. It was a look she knew quite often from her step mother. She shivered, "where the slag am I?"
"In my room," she replied, "and if you're not careful I will make you into a slinky."
"A what?" Sideswipe asked once he had let go of her leg.
"A slinky," she smiled despicably, "you know those things that serve no real use or purpose but make you smile for no reason when you push them down the stairs."
"Is that a threat?" the yellow bot scoffed.
"It's a one liner," she smirked, but the look on her face quickly turned to one of pain when she leaned back and as fate would have it, put weight into the arm that Megatron and Starscream had used as target practice. She yelped and gripped her wrist, which had turned into a swollen mess of flesh that did not look very healthy.
"Autumn," Sideswipe's small fingers grabbed onto her hands and tried to move her other one away even as she hissed at him, "what the slag happened?"
"About that," she smiled nervously through her pain as the burning sensation faded away, "My brother has these con figures and we might have brought them to life. Hey now don't look at me like that, he prefers the darker side of life, not me."
"You mean to tell me we have slagging cons hiding a few rooms down all this time and ya didn't decide to tell us?" Blaster asked in shock and she shrugged in response.
"Must have slipped my mind," Autumn said before jumping when Sideswipe poked her injuries, "SIDESWIPE!"
