September 7

Today me and Missy were everywhere together. This time we were both dressed pretty. I wore a white skirt with red flowers and a red Henley top with white ballet flats that had red bows. Missy had a light green dress, white knee socks, and black Mary Janes, plus she pushed her bangs back with a white headband.

At lunch we met three girls named Becca, Heidi, and Leslie. They were dressed very pretty, too. I told Missy, Becca, Heidi, and Leslie about BADS, my dance studio that is really called Body Alive Dance Studio. We all became really good friends.

Heidi says she has a boyfriend named Henry. But I told her to break up with him, because we were just in third grade. But really I was just jealous.

We came with Heidi as she broke up with Henry. He was really cute, so I felt a teeny bit bad for her. But after she dumped him, he said:

"What are you talking about? I'm your brother, Heidi, we weren't dating, oh my God!"

Me and Missy and Becca and Leslie laughed, then Heidi ran of crying into the girls bathroom.

I got over it and turned to Henry. "Sorry about that," I said, smiling.

"Yeah, I'm used to it. I'm Henry."

"I'm Skye," I said.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Skye. Who's class are you in?"

"Mrs. A."

"Oh, cool. I'm in Mr Q's class."

HE'S A FOURTH GRADER!

"Okay, see you later!" I said. Then I took a chocolate kiss out of my lunchbox and sat it in front of him at his lunch table. A few boys said "Oooooooooooooooo!" They were so jealous of Henry.

I walked away then.

Today Mrs. A gave us a project. We had to write a poem about flowers. This was mine:

I see a flower

Tall and pink

If it were real

It would probably wink

Because it's so pretty

And looks so alive

I wish there wasn't one

But instead there were five!

I got a gold star on my poem. Ricky, a boy who sits next to me, didn't. His said:

I hate flowers

Die die flowers

Crush some flowers

Shoot some flowers

Step on flowers

Eat some flowers

Grind some flowers

Shred some flowers

Rip some flowers

DESTROY SOME FLOWERS!

Mrs. A told Ricky to see her after class.

Here was Mrs. A's quote:

"You must do the things you think you cannot do." ~Eleanor Roosevelt
