Chapter 66 Summer Once More

June 1st 1966 7pm

Today was the day I decided to tell everyone I was pregnant. Johnny already knew and he was beyond ecstatic hoping for a baby boy.

I had invited Lisa, Dan, Jayne and Hettie for dinner.

I would tell Arianna eventually when we saw her for her wedding, it was her 18th birthday today and I sent her a card.

We all sat down enjoying a homemade lasagne and garlic bread.

I stood up and grinned.

"I have an announcement to make" I smiled anxiously twisting my hands.

Everyone looked at me with different facial expressions.

"I'm having another baby!" I screamed. Everyone cheered and Lisa ran up and hugged me.

June 10th 1966 3pm

Arianna burst through the door with her suitcases in hand.

"I'm back and ready to be married!" She yelled.

I ran to her and hugged her.

"I'm so excited for you Ari!" I smiled like a proud Mom "And I have something to tell you!"

She looked expectantly.

"I'm 9 weeks pregnant!" I smiled holding my non-existent bump.

"This is too much happiness! It's too good to be true!"
