Helping & Heartaches

The first time, they're in Sonic Boom. He asks her why she likes Dallas and when she starts talking about him Austin can't concentrate and her eyes (herbeautifulmochaeyes) light up when she talks about him and Austin wishes her eyes lit up when she talked about him, too. (nevergonnahappenmoon)

He tells her she should try to ask him out (stupidstupidstupid). She refuses, saying she's entirely too nervous. He insists. He tells her to be calm, be herself (talkativeamazingbeautiful). He's her best friend. That's the sort of stuff best friends do, right?

He hugs her for support (AllyAllyAlly) then pushes her toward the cellphone accessory cart. He sits one the counter because he can't bear to watch his crush/best friend/partner/songwriter ask out another guy. A few minutes later, she runs back in, her eyes watering. He jumps off the counter and runs over to her.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Then she smiles. It's a thousand watts and his heart swells, at the same time breaking a little because she is so happy about Dallas. "He said YES!" "Ally! That's great!" She hugs him, Shes so happy shes crying a little. He automatically wraps his arms around her. Then Trish walks in, and starts to say where she got a job, but sees Ally crying and rushes over. "Who did it, I'll hit them with my hat of meat!" Austin and Ally pull apart in confusion, then see Trish wearing a hat of chicken wings. "Cal's Chicken Shack." She says, as if it should be obvious. "I'm going out with Dallas on Saturday!" Ally exclaims, and she and Trish jump up and down.

Austin moves to go play a guitar while sitting on the steps while watching them talk about it. After about 20 minutes, Trish leaves. Ally sits beside him. "Thanks Austin." "No worries, Als." Then she hugs him again (AllyAllyAlly) He gets a kind of heartachy pain in his chest and for a second he can't breathe anything but vanilla and strawberries.

The second time, he's home alone and she knocks on the door.

She's crying and her mascara is running but she's still so pretty (gorgeousbeautifulstunning) and when he sees her he gets that pain in his chest and he pulls her into his arms. Then she hugs him back (strawberries&vanilla) and the pain disappears. He gets her inside then takes her up to his room and she's still crying (shecan'tseemtostop) so he sits on his bed and pulls her into his arms.

"D-dallas cheated on me." she whispers. (nonono) His heart shatters a bit at her tone. (hebrokeher) He hides his anger at Dallas from Ally because she needs him (heneedshertoo).

She falls asleep in his arms. (gorgeousbeautifulstunning) The next morning, he wakes up to no Ally (nonono) and rushes downstairs and finds her in the kitchen, making pancakes. (histwofavoritethingsinoneroom)

He sneaks up behind her and gives her a hug. (AllyAllyAlly) She laughs when he eats 5 pancakes.

She is working at Sonic Boom, so they go together. As they pass the Cellphone accessory cart she looks down (painpainpain) He wraps his arm around her.

He goes to see Dallas later that day. He's flirting with some barely clothed girl with blue nails. Dallas agrees to talk with him, off to the side of the food court. Austin punches him (maybemorethanafewtimes) then returns to Sonic Boom.

He goes up to Ally and wraps her in his arms and then he kisses her. They pull apart and she hesitantly smiles at him. "Ally, Will you be my girlfriend?" She responds by standing on her toes and kissing him again.
