Okay with this story the normal writing is from Brian's point of view and the Bold is from Sandra's.

It had been a difficult week for Brian, it had all started on the Wednesday. Jack and Brian had gone out on enquiries and as Jack had had to go out Brian was already in a bad mood as he'd had to take the bus. He hated public transport. His day soon got worse, as soon as he'd walked into the office he'd seen Sandra standing there kissing Gerry. He felt his word tumble down

It had been a weird day at the office for Sandra, the flirting with Gerry had all got too much for the normally calm Sandra. Everyone was out and the tension was too much, she gave in, she did what she'd wanted to do for so long. She kissed Gerry. It felt so right to her and by the look on Gerry's face he felt the same. As they pulled apart Brian had walked in.

'Oh god.' Sandra thought to herself hoping Brian hadn't seen what had just happened.

Brian had stood at the door watching them until they pulled apart, choosing then to walk in. He just pretended not to have seen but in reality his world had tumbled all around him. Brian needed stability, he needed his routine and they'd all known this. He'd spent the next few days on edge, snapping at anyone he annoyed him even slightly, which was a lot in the UCOS office.

Sandra had no idea what had happened the rest of that week, the Wednesday night she'd gone home to Gerry's. The two of them hadn't really spoken since then and now it was Friday. There was more important things to worry about at the moment she thought. Brian had gone off in one of his moods again, he was being overly snappy and no one dared go near any of his stuff. Not one of the UCOS team, except Brian, knew the cause of his temper but they knew he certainly wasn't going to share it with them all. That night they'd gone to the pub and Sandra had had enough.

At the pub that night Sandra had pulled Brian over outside the pub and told the others to go on and get the drinks in.

'What's going on Brian?'

'I..I need stability. You know that.'

'Yes Brian I do know that, what's your point?' she asked.

'We're no longer all even at UCOS.'

'Brian, I don't have any idea what you're going on about. Can you make it a bit simpler for me?' she snapped back sarcastically.

'You.'

'Yes? What about me? You're going to have to tell me more.'

'You and Gerry.'

'What about me and Gerry?' she replied trying to pretend as if she didn't know what he was on about.

'I saw you….'

'Yes?'

'You kissed.'

'Oh God.' She thought. He'd seen that? What the hell was she supposed to do now?

'Brian, everything's going to be fine. I don't think anything's going on between me and Gerry anymore. Even if it was it was nothing to worry about.'

Her words did little to calm him, words don't help, words mean nothing. Actions mean more, he appreciated she'd done her best to try calm him, but he'd just have to wait now to see what happens. They walked into the bar arm in arm, she was trying to calm him still and show him everything was fine. Brian knew it'd take him a while to feel better, but he was going to try now and he knew it'd now probably be fine.

Okay so this was just a one chapter thing, it came to me earlier and I wanted to try a fic about Brian and his problems as it hasn't really been done before. I hope it's okay and that they are both in character. Feel free to review.
