Oh yes, South definitely had something in store for his brother today.

He arrived home about 2pm from the grocery store that afternoon, carrying hidden among his bags, five boxes of Pepero. It wasn't exactly crucial that he slipped into the house and put everything away unnoticed, but he did his best to close the door quietly and tread with care anyway, certain it would all be more fun if his brother were surprised.

After setting the bags down on the table, he fished through them until he found the one that held the Pepero and - having no where else to put them - hastily stuffed the boxes into the waistband of his pants. They'd be fine there for a moment - he just couldn't let North find out that's where he'd stored them when he gave them to him later.

Now turning his attention to the rest of the groceries, he quickly began putting them in their proper places around the kitchen, at the same time going through his plans in his head. First he'd find North, who had probably forgotten in was Pepero Day at all, and goad him until he gave in and agreed to play some games with him. South knew he would give in eventually, because these games had to do with food, and North would usual give in at the promise of food. How fun that would be!

But, lost in thought, South was unaware that he was making quite a lot of noise as he put his groceries away, and as he turned around to retrieve some bottles of soda off the table, he was met by the puzzled stare of his brother, who was looking quite oddly at him from the doorway. And what an odd sight South must make! Putting away groceries with a bunch of boxes of candy sticking out of his pants.

Well, it wasn't exactly the way he'd been planning to surprise North, but at least he seemed to have surprised him today.
