Half a league half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Ran the six dozen:
'Forward, the Grey Wardens!
Charge for the horde' Cailan said:
Into the valley of Death
Ran the six dozen.

'Forward, the Grey Wardens!'
Was there a man dismay'd?
Not tho' the soldiers knew
Some one had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do & die,
Into the valley of Death
Ran the six dozen.

Darkspawn to right of them,
Darkspawn to left of them,
Darkspawn in front of them
Volley'd & thunder'd;
Storm'd at with arrow and magic,
Boldly they ran and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of the Black City
Ran the six dozen.

Flash'd all their sabres bare,
Flash'd as they turn'd in air
Sabring the archers there,
Charging an army while
All the world wonder'd:
Plunged in the flame-smoke
Right thro' the line they broke;
Genlock & Hurlock
Reel'd from the sabre-stroke,
Shatter'd & sunder'd.
Then they ran back, but not
Not the six dozen.

Darkspawn to right of them,
Darkspawn to left of them,
Darkspawn behind them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with arrow and magic,
While hound & hero fell,
They that had fought so well
Came thro' the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of the Black City,
Two that were left of them,
Left of six dozen.

When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wonder'd.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Grey Wardens,
Noble six dozen!

And there you have that. A different part of the game reminded me of the poem, but I thought this fit better, and I hope you enjoyed it. Bioware owns any Dragon Age references. You own the ability to review and tell me your opinion of this flight of fancy of mine. I suggest you make use of it. -SGM-
