HELLO I HAVE NO EXCUSES FOR NOT UPDATING FOR SO VERY LONG I HOPE YOU'LL FORGIVE ME. /Jumps off a building.
"So who're you?" The red-haired man says casually, hands in his pockets, easy-going smile on his face, standing a few inches taller than Tsuna.
Right. Cozart Shimon. She knew this guy. First boss of the Shimon family and Enma's great great great grandpa, right?
"Ciao, Signore Cozart." She said. "My name is Tsunahime Sawada, I'm just here to visit a friend." She smiled.
Cozart raised an eyebrow in what Tsuna could identify as suspicion, but she paid that no mind. If it was the truth, then it was the truth, right? "Oh?" He said. "Who might that friend be? One of the guardians perhaps?" His eyes were wide and curious at the same time cautious.
She pretended not to register the word 'guardians' in her head. "Does Giotto count?" She asked, feigning thoughtfulness.
"Really?" With how wide his eyes were now, Tsuna could practically see the Shimon famiglia crest in his eyes. Huh, she wondered how that even worked.
"Yes?"
"Well it just so happens that Giotto—" Tsuna had to note that it was ridiculous how this guy looked so much like Enma yet acted so confident and outgoing. "—Is one of my closest friends too!" Cozart finished, somehow looking a few years younger.
"He hasn't mentioned you at all." Tsuna giggled, finding the man's wide array of expressions funny. It reminded her of Hayano.
Cozart put a hand to his chest, as if hurt. "I'm afraid that poor Giotto had a good cause for that, bella." He said dramatically. "I always was the better looking one." He clarified vainly, though Tsuna wasn't sure if he was serious or if he was doing that for a laugh.
Probably a mix of both.
"You're vain, then?" She asked.
"A blunt nature, I like that on a lady." Cozart winked.
Tsuna rolled her eyes. This guy must be really bored.
"So you're here to see Giotto as well, am I correct?" She asked.
Cozart nodded. "He's probably in his office; I came here unannounced so he's probably procrastinating." He said, looking so done with his blond friend. "We might as well grab a cake or two from the kitchen before interrupting him." He told the shorter girl.
"Yeah, he'd probably like that." She said.
"Not as much as he'd like burning his paperwork." Cozart laughed.
"So let me get this straight." Daemon said at last, looking at the indigo-haired idiot in front of him. He had his gloved hands pressed together, only further emphasizing his annoyed expression. "You stumbled upon two orphan children." He gestured to the purple-headed children who were munching on some sweets while sitting cross legged on the ground, watching this whole exchange happening in front of them.
"Yes." Mukuri confirmed his statement.
"One of them hand a HUGE amount of potential to be an illusionist, so you decided to train her." Daemon gestured only at Viper now, who was watching her with interest.
"Yes?" Mukuri was starting to get confused then.
"So by some messed up logic, you decide that Of course! I'll keep them in this DUMP." Daemon gestured at his surroundings before pinching the bridge of his nose. "And give them sweets for nutrition." He added.
Mukuri sat down, seeming to get where he was coming from now. "Oh." She said dumbly.
"YOU IMPOSSIBLE IDIOT." Daemon threw his arms in the air, clearly, utterly, defeated. "How are you even alive, woman?" He asked weakly.
"I know." Mukuri sighed, disappointed with herself as well. Wow, this was the way she 'supported' Ken, Chikusa, and Chrome—Nagi, she had to remind herself—back in the past, wasn't it?
When she gets back to the future she will make it up to them.
Daemon sighed. "But now the least I could do for all those years of you protecting me is to fix this." He realized. "Surely I could arrange a room for them back at the Vongola Mansion." He offered.
"You can?" Mukuri said.
"Nufufu, of course I can." Daemon basked in the sweet, sweet glory of finally being better than Mukuri for once.
Short chapter is short, I am shameless.
That's it for now because I wanted to get these scenes out of the way for the ones coming next chapter. And because next chapter will be fluffy as hell. Though, it doesn't focus on all of them. Since I've been neglecting them, most likely next chapter will feature Ryomei/Knuckle and Taneshi/Asari Ugetsu and Melambi/Lampo.
So far the children that have made an appearance so far are Fon, Viper, Skull, Luce, and Reborn. So all that's left are Lal Mirch and whatsisname—Verde. And guys I'm wondering if I should have Colonnello (jesus I just realized how strange his name looks BUT STILL HE'S LIKE 80% OF THE WHOLE REASON I CAME BACK.) make an appearance.
No visible review replies in this chapter. I'll be replying to all of you via PM this time. But the review replies will continue next time I update.
Ciao for now.
(And you guys are truly wonderful, extremely, patient people who deserved to be showed with flower petals but sadly I am probably a country away. Keep being awesome, ve~!)
