Traditionally, a primrose means "I can't live without you." A primrose gift will tell your significant other, "I am yours forever." The ultimate in romantic gifts, a primrose shows your enduring love.

"But mommy, nooooo!" Tibarn whimpered as he cradled baby Ike - who was currently a few months old, still wrapped in smooth and soft white cotton. Despite being oblivious and appeared rather detached, Ike fixed his round eyes at the boy who was holding him possessively whilst chewing on his tiny fingers.

"Tibarn!" his mother scolded. "You must return Ike to his mother this instan-"

The younger boy heard a chuckle escape from Ike's mommy.

"-and you cannot keep Ike!"

"I wanna, mommy! Can I keep him? Pwease? I'll feed him like I feed Nunu."

"My goodness, child. Nunu is our Labrador puppy. Ike is a person - I'm sorry, Elena. My son is...always like this."

"It's alright." she smiled. Appreciation written on her face. Partly because Elena believed the fondness little Tibarn held for her dearest, precious son was not only a part of child's curiosity that would disperse within days.

Tibarn did truly take a sincere liking towards Ike.

"Then can I keep him? Can I can I? I will even name him. I pwomise."

Both mothers laughed.

"Child of mine. This beautiful little one already has a name. It is Ike."

Tibarn declined his head to the side.

"Ike?"

As if he could listen to the confused call of his intended name, Ike blinked his eyes open from the short stupor, his gaze found Tibarn's curious one. Consciously, Ike extended his hand and fisted the loud stranger's hair, tugging it with a weak force a baby could produce.

Baby Ike let out a beautiful incoherent, sound. Almost sounded like a gurgle.

Tibarn smiled. I wish time never passes.

Years later.

"I hate you." Young Ike said in a weak and pouty tone. His once clear and bright eyes glistened with dimmed crystal tears. Tiny hand curled into a fist as he brushed the tears brimming in the corner of his eyes with the back of his knuckle. Tibarn, in his trance state, could not help but let the regret and worry dominate his features.

He didn't mean to kiss Ike on the lips. He saw daddy did that to mommy and when he inquired the reason from his father, he simply laughed and informed his son: it's what you do to the person you love and treasure above of all.

He loved and treasured Ike like he cherished his Avengers action figures. So it was a correct thing to do right? Right.

Tibarn's brows contorted into a deep frown when Ike's sobs getting loud and messy.

"I'm sorry, Ike. I promise I won't ever do it again. Superman promise!" Tibarn waved his short arms in the air, trying to emphasize his meaning.

Ike cried louder. "It was my first kiss."

Tibarn felt as if he just broke his mother's new vase. Was he the epitome of a bad guy like in the Lord of the Rings movie?

Seconds passed, Ike's sobs soon faded into a low tone. Now his expression replaced into that of a child's eagerness.

"Tibby must marry Ike!"

The taller of the two blinked.

"Marry? Why?"

"Ike is gonna get pregnant because Tibby kissed Ike. Tibby must take a full responsibility as a daddy!"

Deafening silence.

"Does that mean I can kiss Ike again?"

"No."

Ike chuckled. I wish time never passes.
