The Last Resort-

"Light~ Misa-Misa is here!"

Light sighed to himself, already feeling his headache coming on. Just as he was about to rest, Misa had to turn up. It's not like he hated the girl, she was just so annoying.

He had tried everything in the book to get rid of her, from telling her that he didn't like her to pretend to commit suicide.

It would just not work! The girl was persistent!

Sitting beside him was the famous detective L, who was currently handcuffed to him. He thought that Light was Kira, which was impossible because Light said so.

Now if only that could work in court….

The blonde haired model, Misa Amane, barged into the room and tried to smile seductively at the college student.

"Light~Misa Misa missed you so much! Please kiss her!" She said, puckering her cherry red lips at him.

Or some reason, the Jaws music kept playing in his head as she approached.

He had to think fast, before she kissed him!

Let's see…Nope, he can't hit her with the lamp, not his book, or the cell phone.

He could strange her with the handcuffs but that would give L a reason to arrest him.

She was getting closer! Oh dear, he'll have to use the last resort.

Which was basically using L.

"I'm sorry Misa but I can't hide it anymore," He said, pretending to cry.

Both L and Misa were confused. "Hide what Light?"

"That your Kira?"

"No! shut up L! anyway, I can't hide the secret between me and L anymore!" He continued on, smirking inwardly.

L was beyond confused as well, "A secret between us?"

"Yes L! THAT WE ARE IN LOVE WITH EACHOTHER!"

"…"

"…"

"…I'll just be going now," mumbled Matsuda, who walked in at the wrong moment.

Misa was still before her lips quivered. She glared at L before storming out. "MISA CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! SHE WILL WIN IN THE END!"

Light sighed out of relief, that should distract her for a few days.

"Light…what did you mean by that?"

Oh dear, he forgot that L was still there.

"It's nothing Ryuzaki, I was just doing that to get rid of Misa."

"…I'm raising your Kira percentage by 75%."

"WHAT?"
