After her father found her passed out, he decides to move her across the country after taking a promotion. They move to Beacon Hills, which to Bonnie is normal to an extreme point. Unfortunately Bonnie does not ever get to be normal. BonniexStiles

Whispers: I'm back.

Disclaimer: I own nothing. And having experienced both Teen Wolf and The Vampire Diaries from beginning to end, kind of thankful I don't.

Enjoy

It was Sunday, only five minutes until two and Bonnie was sitting alone in her room. She was happy to be back in her own room, not realizing how much she liked her own smell. After having slept in Stiles room for the past few days, she had grown used to his odd mix of musk. However now that she was back in her space, it felt lighter, and fresher. The house had a slight chill to it since she had not been in it for too long. That emptiness that settles when a space has not been inhabited for an extended period of time. Bonnie welcomed it.

And it welcomed her.

In the past month, Bonnie had come to call this place home. It had been the safe space for her to come to. To hide away from the world. Back in Mystic Falls her room did not operate the same way. It had become a part time office. Between that and the old witch house, Bonnie was constantly on the clock looking for ways to grow and manipulate her magic. It had been exhausting. Back then it was not her home that was safe space, it had been her Gram's house. A house that smelled of donuts and coffee. Or some odd combination of tea (Sheila was not a fan of standard flavors and prefered to create combinations that suited her specific needs. Bonnie had only recently come to figure out that meant magical remedies. This was a habit she wanted to pick up.

Bonnie brushed a hair out of her face. She looked down at the notes of some homework she had completed while over at the Stilinski's residence. In the corner she noticed unfamiliar handwriting. It was Stiles'. He had written the formula for some equation in her notes. Her notes for US History. Bonnie took a closer look at the relatively clean handwriting. That was something she had to give Stiles. For someone who was utter chaos, he had very nice handwriting. She had seen him in a hurry write something down, and it be completely legible and well written. Bonnie asked him how he was able to do that, but not walk in a straight line without tripping. Stiles merely shrugged at her before looking at his own handwriting.

A pit fell in her stomach causing a wave of apprehension to spread inside of her. Bonnie was worried about him. She couldn't help it. She looked over to her window, seeing the tree that acted as a bridge to both of their houses. Their windows directly across from each other. Bonnie considered that the only breach to her safe space. Simply because it was access to him. She wanted to go check up on him. Make sure everything was okay. That he was okay.

That he was alive.

But then her own words rang through her head from yesterday. She couldn't do it. She couldn't be there for him if he was going to be this reckless. She refused to do that. And now that she had her own car, she wouldn't have to.

Two was slowly approaching and she had gotten a text from Lydia poclaiming she is on her way. Bonnie sighs and looks at her room once more. She had grown to love these walls, more so than almost any place.

Standing and stretching she made her way to Caroline's room. Before she could even knock, Carolina opened the door.

"Care…"

"This is a big mistake Bonnie."

Caroline walked past Bonnie and started moving down the hallway, Bonnie sped up to get beside her.

"I know this is a lot right now, but this partnerships are only temporary."

Carolina was just at the steps when she turned around and looked at the tinier witch.

"There is no one time thing with these two. Especially since you have invited them into your home. And your dad think one of them is Elena!"

Carolina started walking down the stairs again, and once again Bonnie was in tow.

"And you have involved a mortal in this?"

"Lydia isn't normal, Carolina."

"Does she have super strength, super speed, and a great healing factor?"

Bonnie sighed. Caroline was right, but she didn't want to admit that right now.

"Lydia has been through a lot, and she had a right to know about certain things…"

"So introducing her to two very much serial killers was the way to go?"

Bonnie opened her mouth to respond only to close it again. Caroline was right. Of course she was.

"Listen maybe I am just being over emotional, because the demon that caused me to be the way I am is walking around your house as our best friend...but the Bonnie Bennett I knew would have never allowed for this to happen."

"Caroline, I...I don't know what else to do right now. I can't keep Lydia safe, but with that guy out there...she needs people around her. And Katherine and Rebekah...I'm not strong enough by myself. Not now…"

She wanted to continue on. She wanted to tell Caroline how much Bonnie needed a break. How she felt lost and without at the moment. How the last week had shaken her to her very she felt so alone and powerless without her magic. How she missed the connection. How she was trying to pick up the pieces to be the Bonnie Bennett they both knew.

"Bonnie…"

The doorbell rang, forcing both to come out of their discussion. Bonnie walked down to the door, making sure to wipe her face. Catching any fallen tears on the way down. She gave herself a second before she opened the door.

Chris looked down. He rarely if ever made eye contact with his father. The older man may have looked frail, but was still a danger to any and everyone who underestimated him. He did after all trained Chris and his sister to be lethal killing machines.

"So you met Katherine...again...I'm assuming since you are alive that you took her out?"

Chris shook his head.

"She was too strong. She took out Jay and Tom. Both are still alive, although Jay was found with holes in his neck. We checked and there wasn't a severe blood loss, but Jay is going to be out of commission for awhile. I also…"

Gerard held his hand up, effectively silencing his son.

"Jay will be handled properly. As for you…"

Gerard looked up from his paperwork. He had taken over as the school principal after Victoria passed. Chris knew this was a mistake of a role for a man like him.

"I trained you to be an effective killer and you can't even take out a single damn vampire? What was it, she tickled your scrotum again? She gave you a little kiss on the cheek and you suddenly forgot how to fucking kill a monster?"

Chris looked away, embarrassed that his father knew about his relationship with the vampire.

"This is why you were always the weak one. Kate had no problem killing these monsters. Hell, Victoria wasn't even a real Argent and she upheld the family name...right up until the very end."

Gerard turned his focus back onto his work. The school week would start up again soon and he needed to be ready.

"I told you this would be handled...and so I guess I have to handle it."

Gerard kept flipping through the papers. Chris knew this was the end of their talk. He also knew that he would need to be dismissed. Gerard waved him away without much else.

And that was that.

A/N: These chapters have been very...quick. I will say it has been awhile since I have written something so I feel like we are moving at a much faster pace than I am accustomed to. That being said...this is nicer.

Stiles is going to eventually show up soon. Do not worry. As for now this is the end of this update!

Read. Review. Critique. Enjoy.
