3 days later …

Three naked passengers, one green, one gray and one with wings, boarded the Javelin.

"Are you sure about this, Raven? I had to call in some favors to book this trip. We still have ten days left."

"I'm positive." Raven replied in the driest of her deadpans.

"Would you at least tell my why you want to leave early?"

Hawkgirl, was staying at an entirely different resort, almost 300 kilometers away from where the Chromatically Challenged Couple were staying, and having a grand time, doing her best to forget about her failed relationship with John Stewart, the dark and handsome Green Lantern who never forgave her for betraying Earth to the Thanagarians. The Justice League eventually took her back, as she eventually changed sides in that conflict and helped Earth repeal its invaders, but Stewart never reconciled with her and was now in a relationship with Vixen. Hawkgirl received Raven's terse message earlier in the day: "I want to leave. Now."

She glanced at Beast Boy who was also getting dressed. She made eye contact with him.

"Maybe you'll tell me?"

The changeling silently shook his head. He too looked unsettled. What could have possibly happened?

"We're not leaving until you tell me." She grumbled as she finished dressing. Raven maintained silence.

"Well?"

Raven frowned but did not answer. Garfield sighed.

"We ran into an old flame of Raven's."

"He wasn't an old flame!" Raven finally spoke.

"That's not what he said." The changeling replied in an icy tone.

"He wasn't my boyfriend and he was never my lover!" Raven exploded. "Dammit, Gar; you know I was a virgin when we first consummated."

The changeling sighed. "You never told me about him."

"There was nothing to tell. We were in Azar's school on Azarath, we hung out together, mostly to study. How many times do I have to tell you that? We were just friends, nothing more."

"You sure seemed embarrassed when we bumped into him."

"Of course I was! I was stark naked and so was he!"

Hawkgirl began to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Raven fumed.

"Raven, so you ran into an old friend, what's the big deal?"

Raven strapped herself into her seat. "I knew this was a bad idea. I want to leave. Now."

"I think Rave's right. Rishnik isn't our kind of place."

"That's an understatement. Males of all species were staring at me the entire time, and not at my face. Everyone here is a pervert!"

Hawkgirl threw up her hands. "I still think you're making a mountain out of a molehill. And you do realize that you will be stuck in the Watchtower for a long time."

"At least everyone there wears clothes."

"Actually, the Martian Manhunter doesn't. He just morphs himself to look like he does."

Raven face palmed. "Would you please get us out of here?"

"As you wish." Hawkgirl replied as she fired up the Javelin's engines.

Some time later …

A landing bay opened in the Watchtower.

"Don't you dare tell anyone." Raven growled as they landed.

"Like I said, 'what happens on Rishnik, stays on Rishnik.', remember?"

Raven glared at the Thanagarian but said nothing. As soon as the landing bay was pressurized a door opened and Starfire came zooming into the chamber and she waited impatiently in front of the ship, hopping back and forth on her feet, waiting for them to come out. Hawkgirl pulled a lever and the ship's ramp was lowered.

"She's gonna want to know why we came back early." Gar whispered to his wife.

"It was too busy and I don't like crowds. That's our story and we're sticking with it." She replied in an eerie deadpan.

The Logans unbuckled themselves and made their way down the ship's ramp. To her dismay Cyborg and Nightwing were also there. Raven felt her body begin to tense up.

Stick to the story, Raven, stick to the story. They don't know where we went nor what happened. And they don't need to know.

Starfire rushed up to Raven and greeted her with one of her bone crushing hugs.

"You have returned early from your honeymoon!" The princess greeted her dear friends. "Did you not like Rishnik?"

Raven's face fell. "How did you know?"

The princess smiled sheepishly. "I did the peeking at the flight plan Hawkgirl filed."

Raven glared at the Thanagarian.

"Hey, I filed it as 'confidential'." She turned to the princess. "How did you get access to it?"

"Cyborg and I did the hacking. It was difficult, but we were victorious."

The Tin Man had an ear to ear grin on his face.

"So did you lovebirds have fun running around in the buff?" He asked, wagging his single human eyebrow.

Raven gave him a four eyed glare.

"OK, I'll take that as a no."

Raven grabbed the Changeling's arm and they vanished into one of her portals.

Nightwing chuckled. "Really? You took them to Rishnik? I could have told you that was a bad idea."

"A bad idea? Everyone loves Rishnik. I even arranged the most secluded and romantic resort for them. A very conservative one."

"Conservative?" Cyborg laughed. "I though all resorts on Rishnik were nudist."

They are, but where I sent them coitus isn't allowed in public."

Cyborg's eyes boggled. "What? You mean to say that in some places you can do the nasty on the beach?"

"In most resorts you can."

Cyborg rubbed the back of his neck. "Are you serious? Man, I could have told you Raven would hate the place. So what happened? I mean, they were there for three days. Why did Raven suddenly decide to cancel the honeymoon."

"I can't tell you."

"Did some alien chicks hit on BB and piss Raven off?" He snickered.

"I already said that I can't tell you. So don't ask."

As Cyborg continued to needle Hawkgirl, a Watchtower staffer entered the landing bay.

"There is an incoming call for Raven … from Rishnik."

"A call for Raven, from pleasure planet? This has gotta be juicy. Who's calling?" Cyborg gushed.

"Someone named Zander."

Later that evening …

The Logans were conspicuous by their absence during the day. Later that afternoon, Nightwing summoned his team to a dinner meeting, where he would update the Titans on the current status of the League of Assassins problem.

His team assembled punctually, as they always did, with the Logans arriving last in the spacious conference room he reserved. A Watchtower staffer, in her blue jumpsuit arrived with a pushcart with their meals and beverages, she politely excused herself and she closed the door as she left. All eyes were on the Logans, who remained silent as they began to eat their dinners.

After what felt like a brief eternity, Starfire broke the silence.

"Raven, who is the Zander?"She asked.

The gray sorceress, with a resigned look on her face, put her fork down and sighed.

"Fine, I'll tell you what happened, but after I do you can't ask me any more questions, understood?"

The other three Titans nodded their heads in unison. It was more than obvious they were dying to learn who was the mysterious caller from Rishnak."

Raven heaved a heavy sigh. "Zander is someone I knew from my days in Azarath."

"Raven, you never told us that you had a boyfriend before we met you!" Starfire gushed.

Raven rolled her eyes.

He was never my boyfriend. He was a fellow disciple in Azarath. Azar was our teacher. At most, we might have been described as 'friends' but the truth is that were just classmates. We often studied together, but that was all we ever did."

Nightwing cleared his throat. "So, uh, I guess it's none of my business, but why did he call you, and from Rishnik? Does this have something to do with why the two of you came home early?"

Raven crossed her arms. You're right, it's none of your business, but since I know you won't stop pestering us until I tell you, I will."

Raven paused, with an unhappy look on her face.

"I ran into Zander on the beach. Gar had gone for a swim to study the local fish, when that happened. I don't need to tell you how mortified I was, since I was naked. And to make matters worse he asked me for a date. Apparently he was there on a hook up vacation. When I told him that I was married and on my honeymoon he laughed. Moments later Gar showed up. Zander, who is human, laughed at Gar's green skin. He then accused me of making up that I was married and told Gar to get lost."

Her three teammates looked captivated.

"So what happened?" Cyborg asked.

"Gar became The Beast and Zander ran away as fast as he could. We went back to our room, I contacted Hawkgirl and we left Rishik. Zander somehow tracked us down to the Watchtower and called to apologize. The End."

"So, he really was never your boyfriend?" Cyborg asked.

"I believe I was very clear on that." Raven scowled at the Tin Man. "And nobody may ask me if I enjoyed being a nudist for three days, because you already know the answer to that."

Raven resumed eating her dinner. Their teammates focused their attention on the Changeling.

"Anything you want to add to that, B?" Cyborg grinned.

"What she said." He replied before starting to eat again. The others gave up their inquiry and also ate their dinners. Once they finished eating, Nightwing addressed his team.

"Ra's al Ghul contacted Batman, and he proposed a deal. He said that if the Justice League returns Curare to them that they will call off their vendetta against the Titans."

"And we believe him, because?" Raven asked in a voice dripping with skepticism.

"According to Batman Ra's will keep his word. Batman did clarify that Curare's sword won't be returned with her. Ra's agreed. The exchange will happen tomorrow."

"I'm sure Ra's will get her another super sword." Gar remarked.

"It's doubtfiul. Zatanna and Dr. Fate examined her sword. They confirmed that it is magical, and will be hard, if not impossible to replace."

Raven cleared her throat. "Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to go home, but is it really ethical to put a deadly assassin like Curare back in circulation? How many people will she murder if we do that?"

"Part of the deal is that Curare will not be used again as an assassin. Ra's will probably use her to train new assassins."

Raven frowned. This was clearly a no win situation. "I don't like this one bit. She should incarcerated."

"Neither do I. But it's out of our hands, the Justice League already made the deal. The Tower's security upgrade is in progress, but we won't be waiting for its completion before we move back. As soon as Curare has been returned to Ra's we'll go home."

"Since when do we make deals with criminals?"

"Part of the reasoning was that no jail could hold her. Ra's would rescue her from anywhere: Arkham, Belle Reve, etc.. They'd have to keep her in the Watchtower and it's possible that Ra's might break out from there as well."

"Dude, what about Red-X?" The Changeling asked.

"He wasn't part of the deal. I'm not sure what the League is planning to do with him. They wouldn't tell me."

Nightwing sighed before continuing. "Get your stuff packed. Raven, Gar; you're going on your honeymoon, your real honeymoon, as soon as we get home."

He paused.

"Titans, dismissed."

I still have some plans for Red-X. Also, apologies for the long delay.

A Happy 4th of July to my American readers.

And a shout out:

To the shy Raven cosplayer I met at Denver Comic Con 2017, if you ever read this: you have to be the very best Raven cosplayer I ever met, hands down. When I asked you where were the other Titans, you sadly told me that you had no friends.

To that, I say remember Beast Boy's words: "You think you're alone, Raven; but you're not."

Be patient, you will eventually meet like minded peers that will be your friends.
