Alright. Let the name calling commense, I deserve that much at the very least. Sorry guys. I've had a crazy life in the last little while. Yes, I know that's always my excuse but this time it's really truly, true! Feel free to pm me for details, I won't hold back from my fans, if I have any left! So as always, forgive me, enjoy, and if you still love me you'll review.
Takeru
"You know," Yamato says as he enters our shared room, "You disgust me." I glance over at him, eyebrow raised.
"Is that so?" I question. He pauses, then decides that he means it, and nods his head once. "Why is that?" I inquire.
"You're like..a love sick puppy or something. It's kind of pathetic." Yamato flops onto his bed, making the entire bunk shift and shake. It was done on purpose.
"I'm not lovesick, I'm lonely. You're not good company. And Dai is well...Dai."
"Hey!" The brunette protests from his spot beside me.
"Shut up, Dai." Yamato and I say together. Dai pouts at me.
"I am awesome company," Yamato adds.
"No, you really aren't." I argue.
"Liar." Yamato says in that tone that ends all conversation. I sigh. Dai looks up at my ceiling, and I decide to find what's interesting about the ceiling. Seems pretty boring to me.
"You seem lonely, too, anyways." Dai says to Yamato. Yamato doesn't answer. Dai's right, not, of course, that I'd ever say that to Yamato.
"Nah, I'm okay." Yamato protests, although there's really no fight in his words. Dai shakes his head, even though Yamato can't see him.
"Yea, right. Being mauled by Sora and Mimi has always been your favorite thing."
"Oh, yes! Always! I love it sooo much," I laugh at how annoyed Yamato suddenly sounds. The three of us fall into silence. When this happens, I tend to think about where I'd be now had we not gotten into that car accident. Probably dead. I've long since forgiven my mom for the neglect. That's what Yamato and I decided, it had been neglect, not abuse. Maybe just because that didn't make her seem like the horrid person she truly was, or maybe because Yamato and I just didn't want to believe she was incapable of loving us. Either way, that's what we left it as. Talking to Yamato, and more recently Dai, had been more healing then seeing a therapist, so I put that to an end, without much fight from my father. The cost to go see a man that wasn't helping me in the first place was outrageous, anyways. Not, of course, that my father would ever admit to that. He'd probably give up everything for me and Yamato. A knock at the bedroom door draws my attention away from negative thoughts. If it had been our father, he would've waited for confirmation before coming into the room. However, there's no go ahead before the door opens. I have time to see a flash of brown hair, and then the entire bed jerks and Yamato groans.
"Fuck me, you're heavy!" Yamato snaps.
"Yaaaamaaaa! I missed youu!" Taichi sings from below Dai and I. I roll onto my stomach and look down at Taichi, who is indeed sitting on top of Yamato.
"You do realize we don't want to watch you and Yamato screw, right?" Dai asks cheerfully from my side.
"Go fuck yourself," Yamato snaps immediately.
"Who said you had to watch, anyways. You know where the door is." Taichi says. "Besides, Kari's in the living room talking to your dad, Takeru." He adds. This is means for both Dai and I to hop down off the top bunk, and go in search of the female Yagami.
"Don't hurt him!" Dai calls, as he swings the door shut.
"I swear to God, I'm going to fuck-" I hear Yamato snap before we're out of ear shot.
"One day he really is going to get you." I tell Daisuke.
"One day, they really are gonna have sex." He tells me. I roll my eyes.
"Sure." There's no point in arguing. We head out towards the living room, and I hear Kari before I see her.
"Oh yes, it was fun. It sucks Takeru couldn't come with us, though." She's saying.
"I don't think he would've gone anyways. Besides, someone needed to hang out with Daisuke." My dad responds. Kari laughs.
"Yeah, I guess so." She agrees. Daisuke huffs besides me.
"See? I knew you'd be lonely without me." I say. Kari turns to look at us and smiles.
"Hi, guys!" She greets us.
"I MISSED YOU. Your boyfriend is lame company. And his brother tried to beat me up!" Daisuke whines. Kari sighs.
"Well, don't make Yamato angry and he won't beat you up." She says like she's talking to a young child. Daisuke just pouts even more. I want Daisuke and my dad to go very far away, and spend time with only Kari, but I guess that would be kind of rude. I can tell by the look in her eyes, though that she wants that too.
"I have to go to work," My dad says, having totally missed the glance Kari and I shared.
"Bye," I say. Kari and Daisuke spoke with me.
"Where's Yamato?"
"I think he's being raped by Tai." Dai tells him.
"Right, well, tell Yamato to make food when you get hungry."
Daisuke
I love Takeru and Yamato's dad. Who else does that? 'Oh, I think your sons being raped by his best friend.' 'Oh sweet, well, when he's done being molested tell him to make you dinner.' My mom would freak out if I said that to her. I guess Hiroaki just knows us all well enough that he gets it, and knows Taichi wouldn't actually rape Yamato. I wonder what Hiroaki would do if either of his sons ending up being gay. Probably nothing. He's just that awesome.
"I will do that," Takeru says, trying to hide his smile. Kari looks confused.
"My brother is raping Yamato?" She asks, eyebrows furrowing.
"Not really," Takeru reassures her.
"Although sometimes I wonder," Hiroaki says as he heads towards the door. This shocks all three of us into silence. Hiroaki doesn't notice. He leaves the room, door shutting behind him.
"I don't think either of our brothers are gay," Kari says. Not in a way that would make me think she's against, just as a fact. "But it's good to know at least your dad wouldn't hate them." She says. Takeru agrees with her. It's then that I feel the weird air. I sigh.
"I gotta go," I say. I know they want to enjoy each other. Stupid relationships. Stupid Takeru stealing my girl. "I'll see you tomorrow." I add. Kari gives me a quick hug.
"Bye, Dai."
"Cya, Dai." I let myself out without much more being said.
Yamato
I hear my front door open and close not once, but twice, and know my father has left for work and Daisuke has left Takeru and Kari to say their hellos without a third wheel. Taichi is still sitting on me, and he is fucking heavy.
"Get off." I say again. He's moved from just sitting on me, to actually straddling me, and it annoys me.
"Nah," Taichi says. I aim a punch at his thigh, and he gasps and rolls off of me.
"Ow! You're cruel, Yamato." He whines. I glance over at him, he's holding the upper part of his leg where I hit him.
"So?" I ask. Being close to Taichi is just part of life. And even though I hate people touching me, regardless of who it is, Taichi is Taichi, and that's why he gets away with it. Most people would have assumed, like Daisuke does, that there's something between us. Which is not the case. Taichi has a very firm crush on Sora, and that is something I hope works out for him. Taichi groans again.
"You hit hard." He says.
"You deserved it. My dad and Daisuke have left. They've had time to kiss, we should go supervise." This gets Taichi on his feet much faster then I would've thought possible, and I almost laugh. I'm not worried about Takeru and Kari having sex. One, because they're in the living room, and two, I can't see Takeru getting there with her yet. He's not ready, and really, neither is she. Not of course that it won't happen. It will, and probably sooner then both Taichi and I would like to admit, because I love Kari, and even though it is Takeru, I don't want her having sex, ever. I climb off my bed, and Taichi and I leave my bedroom. Our siblings can be heard talking, and we find them sitting on the couch. I watch my brother, and can't help at smile at how happy he seems. Kari's telling him about her time at camp, and at my name, I enter the living room further to listen to her tell my brother about me. When she's done her story, I can't help it.
"I'm pretty amazing," I say.
"You almost got us all kicked out," She points out.
"But I talked us out of it."
"Don't get us into trouble and you won't have to." Taichi says.
"Shut up, Tai." Kari and I say together, because he gets us into more trouble then anyone else. Takeru laughs.
"Did you enjoy raping my brother?" Takeru asks Taichi cheerfully.
"I did," Taichi says, winking. I roll my eyes.
"I'm supposed to tell you to make food at some point tonight." Takeru says to me. I frown.
"What if I don't want to cook for you guys? You suck, Kari's boring and Taichi raped me..." The room laughs at me. I shake my head and move towards the kitchen. How the hell do I get myself into this stuff?
Taichi
Once Yamato starts cooking, I end up in the kitchen, knowing Kari is safe, since Takeru hardly even touched her. I watch Yamato cook, and wonder what exactly I'd do without Yamato. It tooks me awhile to realize it, but I guess I kind of love the stupid blonde. Not in like, a sexual way, but not exactly like a friend either. Yamato sits somewhere in his own category. And the more I think about it, I realize Takeru sits in that same place too, which is probably why I'm okay with him being with my sister. Even if they end up being together forever.
"How long do you think they're going to last?" I ask. Yamato doesn't jump, and I didn't expect him to. He's used to me by now.
"Who? Takeru and Kari?"
"Yeah." Yamato doesn't answer right away. I wait, knowing Yamato well enough to know he's got something to say.
"Who knows. As long as they're happy, does it matter? Probably longer then most relationships of kids their age though. I can't see Kari doing something half assed, and Takeru's..well.." Yamato trails off, and even though he doesn't actually say anything, I get what he means. We fall back into silence.
When the phone rings some ten minutes later, it makes me jump. I hear Takeru move through the house.
"Yamato, dad wants to talk to you!" He calls to us. Yamato sighs, and glances at me.
"Stir this, don't stop." He orders. I slide over to him, and stir whatever it is he's making. I don't question him, because it's rare Yamato let's me help him in the kitchen. I ruin everything. Yamato leaves, and I continue to stir, being super careful not to mess anything up. The smells make my stomach grumble. Yamato returns.
"Guess you guys are staying the night." He says.
"Why would your dad need to talk to you about that?" I ask, giving him back his spoon to stir with.
"Doesn't want Takeru and Kari being left alone."
"Ah, yes. Like we'd let them anyways."
Kari
After we eat, Yamato made some amazing "Something or rather." as he called it, we go for a walk. Just to be together, I guess. I hold Takeru's hand, to which no one says anything. Not even Taichi, which surprises me. I think he knows Takeru won't hurt me, or push anything on me. We don't go far, because Taichi starts complaining about sore feet. I sigh at my brother.
"Wouldn't you rather just watch movies or something? Isn't that what most couples do at your age?" He asks us. Takeru shrugs, and I glare at Taichi.
"If I did what you did at my age, you'd probably kill me and Takeru," I tell my big brother.
"If you ever do the things I did at your age..." Taichi trails off, and Yamato looks amused.
"I don't want to know what you guys did at our age," Takeru says softly, making me squeeze his hand. He returns the gentle gesture, and we begin the short walk back to his house. It's actually getting pretty late, and once we get back, Taichi raids Yamato's fridge and cupboards for snacks, while I tell Yamato more about what he missed, and Takeru about the camp I had been at. Takeru seems interested only because it's me talking. Yamato isn't, but he listens anyways. After my story telling, Taichi insists on a scary movie, which I protest. Yamato gives me permission to snuggle with Takeru.
"Thanks, Yamato, because that will make it better." Takeru's and my cheeks both had flushed. Yamato shrugs.
"Take it or leave it. I'm not supposed to let you guys touch, at all." He points out.
"Yeah, and you're lucky I agree with Yamato." Taichi says. I roll my eyes, and Takeru mutters something about brothers. I do snuggle up against Takeru, who seems to naturally wrap his arm around me. Yamato says something to Taichi which makes him laugh, and I kick Yamato, who doesn't respond to it at all. We watch a few movies, and I begin to get sleepy. I'm pretty sure Takeru's already asleep. I don't want to move to find out though. My last thought though, is how glad I am Takeru's here. Because he really does seem perfect for here.
Alright, end. (=
