Author's Note: I absolutely have no words that can express the warm feeling I felt to wake up to see the next morning seeing the amount of people that favorited and followed this story after years of inactivity. Thank you I truly mean it, hopefully I won't disappoint you guys again. I'll try my very best to bring this story to its full potential.
Anyway enough stalling here is the 3rd chapter as I promised you guys
Enjoy~
Chaos broke loose the moment the screams were heard, people from the outside running inside the restaurant trying to find shelter. The blasts could be heard and were pretty deafening causing no one to hear Lita's earlier question as to what was going on. People's immediate reaction was to hide under the tables with glass being broken.
The girls looked at one another and nodded their heads as they snuck their way out of the restaurant to see a familiar droid they had faced before the moment they stepped outside. A two faced creature sharing one body, the head taking turns shooting at random targets. "This should bring the sailor chumps out…" announced Labradorite floating from the distance watching as the people tried to escape for their lives. Usually he would catch a few and suck their eternal flame from their bodies for energy, but that would take too much work at the moment to do so with the Sailor Scouts always foiling his plans no it was better to just get rid of the Sailors first then go after the energy he needed.
But with the crystals in his hands he wouldn't really need the mere mortals he would be powerful all on his own. It would even be better if he could just get his hands on the Earth Celestial. He swore that he would eventually get it all in due time for now if he can get his hands on the Imperial Silver crystal then he'll be closer to accomplish his goal. He probably would've had it already if it weren't for Sailor Earth. She was going to get what was coming to her.
Vanessa scanned the area as she saw everyone begin to panic this had to be Labradorite's attempt at luring her and especially the other sailors out. She had to figure out a way to get out of there without being noticed. At that moment her eyes widened when she saw a laser coming right towards Jeff. Vanessa began to jump over tables as she yelled "Watch out!" she then pulled Jeff behind the counter as the sound of glass shattering caused even more screams to be heard.
Vanessa sighed as she sat up "That was a close one. Are you okay Jeff?" she asked him in worry. He nodded his head "Y-yeah I'm fine but what about you?" he questioned. Vanessa looked over the counter "I'm fine… but it's better not to stand too close to windows for now. I'll see if I can get customers to escape through the back," Jeff nodded his head "Yeah, that's probably the best solution" he said as more shots could be heard behind causing him to wince.
Vanessa placed a comforting hand on his shoulder as she saw the back door, "Take everyone through the back door I'll try to get anyone else to go that way as well…" she ordered he nodded his head once more in agreement as he slowly moved away from the counter shouting for people to follow him to the back door.
Vanessa watched carefully with a smile, up until more glass could be heard breaking causing her to cover her head from the pieces that came her way. "What's your plan?" Vanessa opened her eyes to see Terra in front of her Vanessa's eyes wandered rapidly as she tried her best to come up with something "Umm…" her response didn't please Terra in the least.
"Vanessa!" she exclaimed worriedly, more blast of glass coming her way as she continued to cover her head "What!? I'm trying. I can't exactly transform here and my main priority is to evacuate everyone. I'll figure out the rest as I go…" she responded defensively. Terra looked at her with trusting eyes as she sighed "I hope you know what you're doing otherwise I'm going to hear an earful from Apollo."
Vanessa peeked at the side of the counter seeing that the creature had entered the restaurant "That makes two of us…" she muttered under her breath. Her eyes widened to see that the creature was aiming at a crying child. As if out of instinct she grabbed the closest thing near her that so happen to be a napkin holder and threw it at the creature directing its attention towards her "Hey, where I come from child abuse is highly frowned upon…" at that moment it started shooting at her.
"Get out of here kid!" she yelled after the kid who didn't think twice to head for the entrance. Meanwhile, Vanessa backed her way to the kitchen while avoiding quite a few close calls of lasers. Terra following close behind her heels "This is what you call a plan? Getting it angry?" she questioned Vanessa's judgment at that moment. Vanessa rolled her eyes "It's not like I was left much choice…" she retorted quickly after her this was beginning to get worse and worse. Frantically looking for anything to create a resolve Vanessa pushed a table to the door she had just walked into in hopes of creating a barrier or some type of distance between herself and the absurd creation of Labradorite.
Seriously the more she fought this guy the more she came to hate him and to think at some point she thought she needed his help. She should have gotten rid of him when she had the chance. Though she knew she couldn't place the blame on herself, she was blinded by her need to find out this mysterious past and the location of her lost relative. For all she knew she'd probably still was, explaining any reason as to why she still hadn't defeated him. Apart of her still believed he had the answers she needed.
At that moment the creature broke the window, shaking her head from her dazed state she looked around once more. Seeing the door to the stairs, then it hit her she ran to the door "Come on Terra!" she ran up the stairs stumbling a few times in the middle of her hurry. Once she saw the door at the top of the stair. Vanessa struggled to get it opened seeing as this door has always been complicated to open. She could hear the creature creep closer and closer.
Vanessa finally was able to get it open she hurried inside as she slammed the door behind Terra. "What now?" Terra asked her seeing as now there didn't seem anywhere to go the room they had entered appeared to be an old attic or storage room for all they knew. Vanessa pushed aside some of the boxes moving it near the door. As she did this Vanessa revealed a window that led to the fire escape. She unlocked the window and snapped it open "This seems to be the only way out. Come on Terra!" Terra hesitated as she looked behind at the door. Once it sounded that the creature was beginning to slam into it that was enough to motivate Terra into Vanessa's arms lifting her and placing her on the other side of the window Vanessa then following pursuit and then slamming the window closed.
Man this day was just getting crazier by the second, and for Vanessa things were just beginning.
The girls and Darien had managed to sneak out of the restaurant before the creature had entered Magical. They had had ran into an alley way were they were reunited with Luna and Artemis "Girls it's time to transform" Luna told the girls who nodded their heads in unison as they all held out their transforming pens and Serena her broach. Yelling as they lifted them to the sky as they began to transform. Meanwhile Darien held a Rose in his hand activating his own transformation.
What appeared to be another day of people being oblivious of them being in an alley and transforming unnoticed became very much the opposite at least not to a certain someone who had climbed out of a window onto a fire escape at that very moment.
Labrodorite walked into the restaurant seeing the ruble. His shook his head in disapproval seeing as his new creation seemed to him very incompetent. "Hold it right there!" he turned slightly at the sound of the voice "How dare you ruin a nice relaxing evening I stand for love, I stand for justice and in the name of the moon I will punish you..." Sailor Moon said in her usual pose. Labrodorite sighed very much not impressed "I have to say I was hoping for a bit of a challenge…". Sailor Venus stomped her foot in frustration "Hey!" she retorted defensively he shrugged as he turned himself towards them "But I guess you will have to do. Two Face!" he ordered as the creature that was chasing Vanessa appeared before them "Finish them and retrieve me the stone in that girl's broach." They nodded their head as it began to attack them viciously throwing the Sailor out the window with a large blast.
Mars and Mercury landing in other buildings, Venus hitting her back against a car and Jupiter breaking through a tree. Sailor Moon on the other hand hit the ground even further leaving a dent in it.
The creature crept up to Sailor Moon, about to reach for the broach only for a bright red rose to hit its hand before it could go any further. "Keep your hands to yourself!" Tuxedo Mask growled at Two Face, the creature only hissed back at him seeming more pissed about him hurting its hand. It then shot three blast at him, the first one Tuxedo Mask was able to block the second one hit him squarely in the ribs. The last one neared him, undoubtedly it was going to knock him out and that was putting it lightly. Tuxedo Mask's eyes widened at the sight knowing that he wouldn't be able to avoid it he shut his eyes tightly preparing for impact and to feel massive pain all he was able to hear was Sailor Moon's crying out his name.
Vanessa huffed a bit as she somewhat, dust herself off before looking around for the next thing to do. When something caught the corner of her eye "Woah…" in the other alley on the other side of the road she saw something that isn't seen every day. Terra followed Vanessa's line of sight and her eyes widened having a feeling what Apollo and Vanessa would probably think and she had to admit she thought the same. For them to call themselves Sailor guardians they were very careless.
Vanessa shook her head off as she pulled down the ladder that led to the upper fire escape. "Well then, come on Terra let's head up to the roof. That might as well be the safest place to lay low for now." Terra tilted her head a bit questioning her a bit seeing as Vanessa seemed to be acting perfectly calm for someone who just saw the girls reveal their identities.
Terra once more jumped into Vanessa's arms "Hold on…" she climbed up the ladder. Once up she gave Terra a boost up on the ledge of the roof. "Are you sure that'll you'll make it? It's pretty high up…" Terra asked inquisitively as she looked down at Vanessa. She shrugged "It shouldn't be too complicated, at least that's what I hope," the corner of her eye looking at the railing then back at the ledge that Terra was at.
"Just stand back Terra…" Vanessa demanded.
Terra did as she was told; Vanessa lifted herself up on the railing. Terra taking notice of what her master was about to do her ears began to droop as her tail went behind her legs "Oh no Vanessa please be careful. That's too dangerous…". Vanessa half laughed at the sound of her worry as she balanced herself once on the railing placing her hand on the wall to keep some kind of precaution "I've dealt with situations way more dangerous than this. None that I can name at the moment," by the end of it losing her confidence she looked at 50-foot drop taking in a harsh breath. Was it too much to ask for one normal day?
Her unspoken question was quickly answered with a blast that was heard inside the build that caused the building rumble a bit. She soon crouched grabbing a hold of the railing to keep her from falling off "W-woah!" she croaked out with a shaky breath.
Once the rumbling stopped, she got back up and from the railing jumped grabbing a hold of the ledge and pulled herself up with a struggle having Terra bite a part of her shirt to help her be pulled on the roof. Her body pummeling the ground rolling out of breath on her back. Terra hovered over her face "Vanessa don't do that you could've gotten hurt." Giving a sheepish chuckle Vanessa lightly scratched Terra on her chin.
"Sorry for worrying you Terra, but I'm fine it's more the fright than anything," her grin soon disappearing when she heard a blast this brought her to get up and look down at what was going on. Her eyes widened at the sight of the Sailors being flung around to different locations, causing Vanessa to cringe. Terra jumped on the ledge looked at the sight then back at Vanessa "What are you going to do?" she questioned.
Vanessa had a pressed line form on her lips, her delicate eyebrows knitted together appearing to be frustrated with indecision. "I- uh…" was what seemed was all she was capable of muttering at the moment "Vanessa…" Terra pried at her. She sighed harshly "Wait…" Terra raised an eyebrow at her "Don't give me that look. I just want to see what these Sailors are capable of." At that moment Sailor Moon hit the concrete of the road causing a dent, only making Vanessa cringe even more.
The creature from earlier crept going to reach for something that was on Sailor Moon. Vanessa squinted to see what exactly, but at that moment a red rose intervened and Tuxedo Mask appeared. What seemed like him coming to the rescue soon became him becoming the damsel. Vanessa then saw somewhere in the distance was Labrodorite Snicker at the sight. Vanessa scowled as her hands became fists she took a step back from the ledge "I just have had enough." She then looked at her hand right hand that in the ring finger had a silver band ring with an emerald green stone at the center.
"Earth Power!"
Author's Note: Okay well this is the end of this chapter I really hope you enjoyed it. Sorry for not updating sooner, but compared to the last time. I didn't make you wait 3 years for the next update.
Okay not exactly the best to joke about that since it was a pretty long wait still. I'm very sorry for any mistakes, I didn't have time to edit it whatsoever. I'll try to post the next chapter but I highly doubt it seeing as School will be returning soon and I still have this stupid job. I'll probably have it ready by winter break though no promises cause I obviously suck at them.
Please Follow, Favorite, and Review :)
And I hoped to see you in the next Chapter…
