Author's note : Did the random time stuff make any sense at all last time? If it didn't I'm sorry D:

Green nuzzled closer to the warm body he was laying against. He knew he should get up but he was so cozy and he knew the morning air would be cold. Dark chuckled softly, and gently tightened the arms around Green's waist. Around them their small camp in a cave on the mountain was stirring into life. A flickering fire warmed their breakfast, Vio and Sheik had already begun pouring over dusty books, looking for a clue to the spell on the lens. Shadow was seated between them, sleepily leaning on his lover, while occasionally glaring at the sheikah. Blue was stretching for more sparring with Majora, who was giggling over at Dark and Green. Oni silently watched them, clearly anxious about something.

Green blushed a little, wondering how he could be so comfortable laying with someone who made him so nervous. He figured it had something to do with his future self. As he wondered that a jolt of foresight touched his mind. Water, wet cold, in his boots, annoying. A tree, confusion, and being pinned to the wet floor. More confusion, struggle, shock, and a pleasant warmth in the wet cold environment. Slightly annoying new companion, but one he was happy to have. Green blinked as memories not his swirled in his head. Vio yawned and looked away from his books, over at Sheik.

"Might as well go find the damn materials. Hopefully we'll get lucky today... and It'll be best to leave while Green's too comfy to move, he shouldn't come if he's that wounded. Dark can stay and watch him."

Sheik frowned, "Yeah but who's gonna watch Dark?"

"Well I trust him... He wouldn't do anything to make Green hate him, and Green's all injured and taking advantage of that would be wrong. Plus it would probably open the wounds again."

"If you're sure..."

"Of course I am."

"You okay with that Green?"

"Yes."

"Alright, we'll go then."

Green watched from Dark's lap as the others left, Oni shooting glances back at them until he couldn't see them anymore. Green looked up at the dark male holding him, curious now about his connection to the future hero.

"When exactly are you guys from?"

Dark sighed.

"I can't speak for the others, but I'm from a period of hate and bloodshed, Ganondorf's rule. It'd been 5 years since he took over, when those goddesses dragged me out of my home in the water temple and showed me my possible future... The future with the hero, and asked if I wanted what they said might be mine. Of course I said yes, and they told me if I didn't help you guys, that hero might never exist. I agreed to help and the conditions weren't bad. Once it's over I go back, my memories of my possible future will be wiped permanently, but I'll remember I went back in time. I assume the others were pulled and given a similar deal. The only thing I really know is that none of us were pulled at the same time. I think Sheik was pulled after a year or two, and you'd have to ask the others when they came from. I don't really pay attention to events in Termina so I couldn't guess."

Green blinked, absorbing that.

"So you'll have to go back for sure then... You all still have jobs to do."

"Yeah, it's why Sheik doesn't want me getting too cuddly with you... It wouldn't be fair to you once I leave, and it would mess me up pretty badly too. I don't like losing things. In that way it kinda sucks to be an immortal. At least my life is tied to my hero. So I don't have to live without him.. Or in a way... without you~"

Green blushed in shock as Dark suddenly kissed him, clinging to the black tunic, not sure how to react. His body shook, wanting to react one way, while his mind struggled to react another. A sudden jolt went through him, a foresight bond to his future self, the self that liked this dark reflection a lot. Perhaps the hero even loved him. Green kissed Dark back with a sudden passion that startled the immortal being. Green being completely overwhelmed by future him's feelings. Passion, desire, but also guilt. There was another and he shouldn't be doing this but he couldn't help it. He and Dark were two halves of a whole and he wanted to be close to him. But he liked the other person too. Green was disconnected from his future self and jerked away from Dark when he realized how sensual their kiss had become, falling backwards. A slightly blushing Dark watched him with half closed eyes, licking his lips and not bothering to hide the fact he was breathing fast.

"That was... Unexpectedly pleasant~ May I have another?"

"Th-that's a bad idea!"

Green turned away, blushing fiercely.

Sheik sighed as they tested various fabrics and metals. it seemed the best one they got was a strange kind of ceramic clay that was hollow inside and could at least hold the magic.

"It looks like this is our best bet."

Vio nodded as he read through a book on the material's making and properties.

"It should hold, though it'll be best to try and strengthen it. It's fragile and will break if dropped. A high quality durability glaze should suffice."

"We'll do that then. I assume you've read enough to know how to make one?"

"Yes. I'll be able to make what we need."

"Good. Then we should head back."

The others put down what they all had, relieved a choice had been made.

When they got back they found Green and Dark sitting quietly by the fire, simply waiting for them to get back. Vio immediately set out with Shadow and a few gorons to look for the right minerals in their mine, Red dragging a slightly annoyed Blue with him to teach him how to cook so they could cook together. Oni decided to check Green's wounds while Sheik continued to look for the spell on the lens. Majora simply giggled and wandered off, no one knew where to, or really wanted to know.

Around noon Sheik started laughing so loudly everyone in the camp jumped, and poor Red almost dropped the seared fish he'd just finished making for everyone. Blue happened to catch and steady his brother, glaring at the one who'd almost cost him his dinner. Sheik shook his head, laughing hysterically. Oni looking concerned, moved to see what he was reading.

"It was here all along Oni! Right under my nose! I can't believe... I never thought the spell could apply like that, but I guess it can... I've USED this spell and I didn't think of what effect it would have if imbued in a window..."

The sheikah shook his head, chuckling. His finger hovered over a simple truth spell, designed to make anything reveal the truth. Oni decided he didn't want to know when the Sheikah had used the spell, but was glad his companion had found it. When Vio came back he was quite pleased with the news, and set to making the handles for the new lenses. The process was long though and they'd have to stay at least another night, to which Blue responded with a groan. Majora returned in the evening, telling no one where he'd been.

That night everyone went back to their tents. When Green lay down the Sheikah beside him suddenly pinned him.

"Tonight you sleep in here. No going to cuddle with Dark uunderstand?!"

Green nodded, trying to control his breathing, and fighting the connection to his other self. He knew now, this is the other person his future self held an attraction for. The drive to get closer was almost impossible to resist. Sheik's eyes softened and he sighed.

"I'm doing this for your own good... It's not worth it to get too close to any of us..."

Green felt dizzy as the blond hugged him gently, he tried to resist, but being with those from that hero's time had only strengthened the chain that connected them. Green's arms wrapped around Sheik's sllim body, and he couldn't help it as he kissed the Sheikah's neck. Sheik gasped and tried to pull away from the contact, but Green's arms prevented that. He did manage to break the kiss on his neck, but now he found Green's lips against his own. Sheik struggled but he soon gave in. This hero was just too much like his own. 'Goddesses forgive me...' He thought to himself as he kissed the little hero. After awhile the two broke apart and the blushing Sheikah lay down to sleep. He didn't bother to argue as Green snuggled into his arms. He knew he'd feel guilty later, but for now sleeping like this was comfortable

Author's afternote : Love triangle! Whoo! hello everyone. this one's kinda short yeah? Oh well... I think next time we'll FINALLY get to fighting the big scary invisible monster at the top of the mountain :D for now enjoy the whole process of trying to make some more goddamned lenses.
