A/N: Holy spell-check Batman… I'm back. Sorry guys for that horrendously awful delay. Trust me. It was just as bad as for me as it was for you. Anyway, I'm updating now with a new chapter, and hopefully another one right after this one. I've got four more chapters in the works and I'll try my best to churn those out before the week ends.

Disclaimer: One day… my time will come and I WILL own the Teen Titans. I'm just biding my time. Just you wait.

Chapter 13

Colors

He'd lost, again. He shouldn't have made that stupid bet with Cyborg and now here he was, stuck doing laundry for the entire team. Most would think that five, responsible, teenagers would be able to handle their laundry themselves. Apparently not, as the mountain of clothes and uniform pieces in front of Beast Boy was enough to attest to that.

He took a cursory glance at the instructions Robin had left him, but tossed them over his shoulder in annoyance, before he grabbed a handful of random colored clothes and tossed them through the door, quickly filling the high capacity industrial size washer Cyborg had built specifically for the Tower. He threw in a single bar of laundry soap, shut the heavy door and looked at the controls. There were several different buttons and switches for different modes and cleaning capacities. Delicate, heavy, bedding, and a dozen others were available to him. He went with the Sanitation mode, set the spin speed to high and the water to extra hot, before pushing the big, green start button. The washer made a sudden, low whine as its triple energy capacitors spun up while an estimated finish time appeared on the main screen. Beast Boy gave himself a little pat on the back and went off towards the common room for some quality time with his Game Station XLV. He had some records to beat.

Four Hours Later

His communicator chirped with an alert that told him the clothes were done. Halfway through the cycling process they would've been automatically transferred to a dryer. He strutted down the hallway, confident he had little work left to do. The dryer door automatically keyed to open upon his entrance. The remote he'd accidentally brought back as he gazed upon what would soon be his demise. He glanced down at the instructions he'd tossed to the ground. In bold printer were the words WASH COLORS SEPARATELY. Oh. No. No. Shit. He peeked inside the dryer and nearly collapsed. Every single uniform, including his, was now a super cheery shade of green. He started to panic, but managed to get ahold of himself. Come on Beast Boy. You've got this. You can handle this. It's not that big of a deal… yes, Raven's cloaks are all green, but she'll surely understand. He hurriedly grabbed the clothes, folded them to the best of his ability, and delivered them the appropriate rooms. Beast Boy settled in his own room, legs crossed, sitting on the floor as if he was a criminal awaiting his sentencing on Death Row.

Raven was the first to arrive home. She phased immediately into her room and immediately noticed the stack of fresh clothes on her bed. Something was off though. They looked… green. They were green! She grabbed the stack and immediately teleported to his room, coming face to face with the green changeling, "What is the meaning of this?" She thrust the green clothes towards his face. He calmly side-stepped her, pushing the held out clothes to the side a little and flashed her one of his trademark grins, "I always thought green would look fantastic on you." He maneuvered around her as soon as a blush rose to her cheeks. Beast Boy smirked briefly before sprinting out of the room at breakneck speed, morphing into a Cheetah and racing away. Raven simply phased into the common room unnoticed, only now she wore bright green robes, much to the surprise of the rest of the team. Robin went to say something but she turned and looked at him, "Speak, and I won't fix yours." Robin went pale before racing to his room to check on the state of his beloved uniform. A resounding "BEAST BOY!" echoed around the tower moments later. Raven smirked, knowing she would inadvertently get revenge, but caught a glimpse of her reflection in the window, a slight smile gracing her lips.

A/N: Mmm… not sure how I feel about that one. Well, I need to post a chapter, and this one satisfies my need to get something posted. Not to mention, I think it went alright. On a separate note, I feel the need to give a shout out to one of my favorite authors, liketotescray. Her stories are absolutely phenomenal pieces of literature and are definitely worth a read. As always I appreciate any and all reviews, favorites or follows from you guys and I'll see you in the next chapter.
