Hello everybody, My name is Shadowdragon-Z and this is my new fan fiction. As you can most likely see from the information of the this fic, this is a crossover between Adventure Quest Worlds and Naruto. Here's a more in depth summary.

Genre: Adventure/Family/Friendship/Romance

Main Characters: Naruto, Gravelyn, Ken (Hero), Artix, Various Naruto characters, maybe a few other characters from AQW.

Summary: After being attacked by drunk villagers on his 8th birthday, Naruto is rescued by Artix von Krieger. He adopts Naruto and takes him from the village and trains him as a Paladin. On Naruto's 16th birthday, he returns to the leaf village with two friends named Ken, who is a Necromancer, and Gravelyn, the doom knight who is also the daughter of Sepulchure. They form a two person team with Ken as the sensei. Look out Elemental Countries, here comes the Son of Artix.

Pairings will be Naruto/Gravelyn, Ken/Rin (Kakashi's Teammate)

Gravelyn=Doom knight (Female)

Ken=Necromancer

Artix=High Paladin

Most Naruto Characters=Shinobi (AQW class)

Now, on with the story.

Chapter 1: Worst Birthday Ever

It was a normal October day in the leaf village. The Kyuubi festival was in full swing and everyone was celebrating. Everyone except for three people. The first was The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi. The second was a man with brown hair, yellow eyes, and silver armor holding an axe that seemed to glow with a golden light. The third person was Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. Sarutobi because he was worried about his surrogate grandson, Naruto. The man in armor because he didn't know what was going on. And Naruto because he was being chased by a mob of drunken villagers who were yelling things like, "Kill the Kyuubi brat!" and "Die Demon!"

The mob chased Naruto into an alley and began beating him to death as he begged them to stop, asking what he ever did to deserve this. Just as one of them drew a knife to slit Naruto's throat, the armored man walked in on them.

Artix P.O.V.

I was walking through this village, trying to calm down after the Shadowfall War when I realized that everyone was celebrating the death of some demon called the Kyuubi. "What the?" I know I heard something from that alley.

As I walked into the alley for a better view of what was going on, I saw a small child who looked to be five or six lying on the ground in a pool of blood with various weapons a tools sticking out of his back. I was shocked that he was still alive when I heard him beg them to stop. I was pissed off that anyone could do that to a child who couldn't even defend themselves. Just then, one of the members of the mob drew a knife to kill the kid!

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING!" I yelled at them as I drew the Blinding Light of Destiny. Everyone looked at me and a few of the attackers yelled at me "Who are you, you demon lover! We're just finishing off what the Fourth Hokage started by killing the Kyuubi!"

"If I'm not mistaken, Kyuubi means "Nine Tails." Does it look like he has any tails, let alone nine!" I asked in anger.

"YOU FOOL IT'S ONLY USING IT'S DEMON POWERS TO DISGUISE ITSELF!"

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE! HOW COULD YOU FOOLS DO THIS TO A DEFENSELESS CHILD! ANBU! TAKE THESE FOOLS TO IBIKI AND TELL HIM NO MERCY!"
