Chapter 10 Here comes the bride David POV

I leaned back and pulled my face as my mom fussed with my tie for the millionth time in five minutes. She sniffed and clasped her hands under her chin as she looked at me.

"Oh, I can't believe my baby is getting married," she said as a tear slid down her cheek.

"Mom, I'm hardly the baby," I reminded her as all three of my brothers entered the room.

"She certainly treats you like a baby," Michael said, ruffling my hair as Ethan and Chase rolled their eyes.

Idiot, I thought as I smacked his hands away. I flattened my hair just as Emma entered the room. She gave me one look, shook her head and ran her hands through my hair.

"There," she said, clapping her hands, "perfect. Now hurry up, it's almost time."

Emma turned and walked to Jacob, who was waiting for her by the door. She took his hand, tapped her watch, and sent me a look before going back to Leah.

I breathed a sigh and turned to the mirror, ignoring the chaos going on behind me as I stared at my reflection.

"You ready?" Chase asked as he stood next to me.

I gulped and nodded. "Yes, definitely ready."

The ceremony went by in a blur, all I could remember was my beautiful bride smiling at me.

We stopped in front of our open front door and I gave Leah a sly smile as she eyed me warily. I gave a peck on the cheek and she giggled as I scooped her up. It took some manoeuvring, but I carried my bride over the threshold and I've never been happier.

"And they lived happily ever after," I whispered to myself as we stood in the living room.

"Forever," Leah said, cupping my cheek before pressing her lips to mine.

"Forever."

AN: First: I know I took forever to update and this chapter is super short, sorry. Second: Since I can't leave the story incomplete and being on hiatus forever sucks, this is the end for now. I'll probably come back to the story eventually (maybe, maybe not).

Thank you for reading :)

(This is the last in the Imprinting Books series and most likely the last Twilight story I'll write)
