DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING. ALL CHARACTERS BELONG TO MYTHOLOGY AND MARVEL. However, I do wish I owned Loki ;)

This takes place at the end of Thor. I hope you enjoy it!

He didn't care what he was, what he did, what he will do, Loki was Thor's brother. So when Loki let go and fell down into the cosmos, he ripped away a part of Thor's heart and took it with him, deep into the unknown abyss. All Thor could think of was a time when they were playing together as children:

"I'm king today, and you must obey me!" said Thor with an authoritative voice. Loki just stared at him.

"I don't have to obey you. I'm clearly superior," he said with a mischievous grin.

"Yes, you do!" Thor said, laughing as he launched himself at his brother, tackling him. They rolled around on the ground, wrestling and laughing together. The sound of their merriment rang throughout the halls of the palace.

"Loki, my dear brother. You're more than that, though. You're my best friend," Thor said after they were weary of playing. Loki looked again at his brother.

"And you're mine, Thor."

They both smiled smiled and just laid there, looking up at the sky, letting their brotherly love grow stronger and enjoying each others company.

Thor never told Loki that that moment was his fondest memory. No glory in battle could ever measure up to how dear that memory was to him. The bond they had was unbreakable, wound tightly around their hearts that would forever bind them together. Thor didn't know if he would ever see his brother again, or if Loki even survived, but Thor knew that no matter what he did, he would forgive his brother. He always would.
