A light hearted humorous drabble one-shot to apologise for not updating sooner! But hey, you get a new one-shot and new chapters for both running fics.

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I don't own any of this :(

"No, no, I don't like it." Narcissa said firmly, her arms folded over her chest as she shook her head in disagreement. She didn't care how much they whined, she just wouldn't have it.

"But Mother!" The 8 year old blonde boy insisted, clearly upset with his mother's objection.

"Narcissa, you are taking this a little too seriously." The boy's father stepped in, who was willing to do all means possible to defuse this situation.

"No I refuse to not take this seriously!" She began to get flustered, "He could become injured! Scarred even! Then what would you do?" She glared at her husband of 12 years, absolutely infuriated he had continued down this path even though she had made her objection quite clear.

"But I won't mother! I'll be fine!" A young Draco pleaded.

"Narcissa, it's a toy, it only rises a few feet off the ground." Lucius drawled, evidently annoyed at his wife's over-protective nature of their only child. "I had one that went higher at his age, and there is nothing wrong with me."

"Nothing that you can see anyway..." Narcissa bit back. Lucius looked insulted and was about to retort when he was interrupted.

"But mother I need to practise! How can I get onto the Slytherin Quidditch team if I don't practise?" The young Malfoy looked desperate but his mother wouldn't change her mind.

"This discussion is over, my final answer is no, he will not be playing with the broom. And you Lucius should have known better than to bring one home for him." She turned and stalked out of the room, closing the door behind her with more force than was necessary. Draco looked up at his father absolutely distraught but Lucius couldn't hide the smirk on his face. He held one finger up to his mouth looking down at Draco.

"You heard your mother Draco," his young face lit up as Lucius handed him the broom, "I'm sorry, now run along and play." He made sure he said it loud enough that his words carried through the walls then pulled out his wand and cast a door locking and silencing charm in the direction his wife had just left in. Draco jumped onto the broom and kicked off hard from the ground, hovering a few feet in the air. Lucius then turned his wand on the furniture in the room and it all vanished. Draco zoomed a few laps around the room laughing from the excitement as Lucius picked up a glass tumbler and transfigured it into a quaffle, tossing it in Draco's direction seconds later.
