I LITERALLY HATE THIS CHAPTER, WHAT WAS I THINKING.
IM TO LAZY TO RE DUE I THOUGH. XD
Logan woke up the next morning with sunlight burning in his face, Kendall's curtains were drawn back, he threw an arm hastily over his face grumbling about the unfairness of life, he ducked his head and almost smashed noses with a very sleeping, very angelic looking Kendall, who was curled into himself like a baby rabbit, one hand clutching at Logan's chest, he hid himself in Kendall's hair, not able to reach far enough to close the drapes without waking up Kendall. He looked at the clock, it was six and he needed to be at school by seven fifteen, he had an extra pair of clothes in his car, he would need to ask Kendall if he could take a shower there, speaking of the blonde he looked down at his little sleeping sweetheart, The blonde was so soft, his hair and his skin and just everything, he pulled Kendall closer to him, making the blonde whimper, he went still but it was too late, Kendall's big green eyes fluttered open and he looked up at Logan shyly.
"Hi," Kendall croaked.
"Hello, beautiful," Logan whispered.
Kendall hummed and cuddled into Logan's chest. "You have to go to work soon,"
"Yup," Logan said sadly.
"So do I," Kendall smiled, kissing at Logan's pecks, fingers tracing the hair on his chest. Logan hummed and ran his hands over Kendall's back as he had last night, and pecked his hair tenderly.
"By any chance, can I use your shower?" Logan asked politely.
Kendall smiled, "Of course, you can do whatever you want. You can go roll on Ceddie's bed buck ass nude if you like," They both cackled lightly at the very idea of it. "You can shave in his shower, use his brush. Rub your sweat on his belongings, steal his computer and printer so he really won't have one for his next essay," They grinned at each other, Logan had never heard Kendall get so mean and teasing about his son, he knew he didn't mean any of it, well at least half of it, but he couldn't help laughing at the very idea.
Kendall got up slowly, groaning at the strain in his muscles, the slight burn in his ass. "That's gonna be fun to sit on all day," The blonde threw himself onto Logan and cuddled into his chest. "Mm," Kendall hummed, "I don't want to leave this bed. You're so warm," Kendall laughed.
Logan laughed too and hugged the blonde back. "And you're so soft. It's like your skin is made from silk," he rubbed his hands over the baby soft skin. "How's it so soft?"
"I don't know it's always been soft. Carlos' skin is like that too."
"Carrier skin," Logan said lightly. "Beautiful skin," he nipped at Kendall's shoulder. They laid together for another fifteen minutes, Kendall finally having to be the one who had to pull away and slip out of bed, Logan stared at his naked body as the blonde grabbed his arm and began tugging him out of the bed, Logan groaned in distaste.
"We can shower together," Kendall said in a sing song voice, Logan hopped up, picked Kendall right up, and walked briskly to the bathroom as Kendall shrieked in delight at his man's strength and stamina.
….
Twenty minutes later they were both proper and dressed, Kendall in his usual outfit of tight dark skinny jeans, black converse, and button up shirt. Today's color was light pink, to match his happy and glowing mood, Logan was dressed in a burgundy button up, tan pants, and burgundy and black leather shoes, looking handsome and dignified as he sipped at some coffee and read the paper which he had borrowed from Kendall. Kendall would have been convinced this was a young uptight serious school teacher If he hadn't just been getting screwed into the shower wall by him ten minutes ago, Logan was a very lively lover, yet soft and passionate enough for Kendall not to be frightened.
Kendall sat on the counter, waiting on the toast in the toaster and for the sausage to finish microwaving.
"I can't believe we don't have any eggs," Kendall said for the fifth time.
Logan smiled up at him, his blonde had insisted that he make Logan and him breakfast and had been unnecessarily disappointed when he discovered they were out of eggs. "Kendall, there just eggs, are they really that important?"
"Not for me, but you must be tired, and you worked so hard for me this morning," Kendall said, blushing softly.
Logan smirked. "It wasn't that hard, just super fun; it's the best way to wake up isn't it?"
"With you it is,"
Logan's heart nearly melted at the words, Kendall was looking away, busying himself with getting the toast onto two plates and then separating the sausages fairly, five for him, five for Logan. He grabbed himself some orange juice and went to sit with Logan by the window. They finished quickly, as they were both running late, Logan helped his love with the dishes and then they walked out of the house together, Kendall locking the door behind him. Logan kissed the librarian gently at his car, holding his waist. Kendall got sentimental and didn't want to let go of the brunet, but he eventually had to let go, after Logan promised they could see each other tonight.
"I love you," Logan whispered, as he kissed him one last time.
"I love you too," Kendall choked, tearing up.
Logan chuckled and whipped his tears away. "Don't cry baby, we'll see each other soon."
"I know," Kendall said, but another tear fell anyway. Logan wiped it away with a kiss, and then went to his car. Kendall watched him drive away like he always did before getting into his own car and driving to work
…..
As always, Carlos was already at work, the library didn't open for another hour and a half but they needed to set up the teenage section like every morning and wake up the computers, they wouldn't get anyone until later, but sometimes college students ventured it around lunch time to use the computers or return younger siblings books while they were in class. Carlos was pre occupied with a list of check outs to notice Kendall right away, he wouldn't tell the Latino anything, if he wanted to know, he would ask.
But he was simply bursting to tell someone. But no, it wasn't the polite thing to do. So he bit his lip and concentrated on the list of reserves that people were expecting to pick up today, he hummed merrily, and before long Carlos took notice and began to stare at him. Since when was Kendall a morning person?
"Good morning," Carlos said, raising an eyebrow.
"Morning," Kendall said, biting his lip and clicking away from the screen, he got the books out of the return box on his side and started picking threw them and putting them in order in his lap, first by subject and then alphabetically.
"You seem…happy," Carlos said.
"Nice day," Kendall said, shrugging.
"It's…it's snowing outside," Carlos said slowly, confused.
"I like snow," Kendall said, even though Carlos already knew that. "Where you with James last night?" Kendall asked, meaning to distract the Latino from paying attention from him, he expected the Latino to brighten and jabber until opening time all about the night he and James had had, but he didn't. He continued to look suspicious.
"Yes, we went for a drive upstate in the morning and then I spent the night with him." Carlos said, eyeing Kendall. Kendall flushed at the words. "Where you with Logan?"
"He has dinner with his family on Sundays," Kendall said blankly, still not looking up.
"I heard, but I also heard he left halfway through to go to your house," Carlo said, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes I-…Ceddie spent the night with his friends and Diego." He felt nervous, he knew that the Latino could see right through him and was mere moments from putting the pieces together and accusing Kendall of sleeping with Logan, if not seconds.
"Did he spend the night?" Carlos asked.
"He has before," Kendall flushed, why the hell did Carlos always have to be observant when you never wanted him to but had his head in the clouds any other time.
"You know what I mean, babe,"
"No, I don't." Kendall said, if it wasn't his tone that gave him away It was his color, he was bright red, redder than Logan's burgundy shirt, redder than Carlos' messenger bag that was hanging off of the back of his chair.
"Kendall?"
"What?"
"Did you and Logan have sex?" Carlos flushed gently at his own words, sure they had been somewhat intimidate together, Carlos had made a comment about James performance once, but other than that they had never talked about men or romance before now, especially sex.
Kendall bite his lip, Carlos was his best friend, he could tell him anything, and he had wanted to talk about Logan's technique with someone. "Uh…Ummm….yeah." he whispered.
"Yeah?" Carlos repeated, leaning forward slowly with a grin.
Kendall turned and slowly grinned back. "Yeah."
"Holy shit!" Carlos screamed. "Was it amazing!?"
"Yes!"
"Is his dick huge?"
"Carlos!" Kendall said, flushing a deep red.
"What?" Carlos whined. "We can talk about this stuff! It's just me! James is huge, now tell me! How big is he?" Carlos whispered, grabbing Kendall's arm and shaking gently.
"Like…nine inches?"
"Nine inches?" Carlos said, eyes widening. "Holy shit! James is around there too," Carlos was gripping his arm so hard he was near bruising. "Was he soft? Or is he like, one of those rough ones?"
"What do you think?" Kendall asked, rolling his eyes. "Soft, really soft. But he did me so hard in the shower this morning!"
"Shower!" Carlos squealed. "James won't do me anywhere but the bed! He's scared of hurting my back or something," Carlos pouted.
"But the soreness is the best part!" Kendall said, getting into it. "It makes me think of him all through the day," he sighed and toed with the handmade bracelet from Ceddie around his wrist.
"Exactly! I like the burn, James doesn't see it that way," Carlos rolled his eyes. "He wants my back and pelvis and shit in perfect condition, he wants to have kids, but I can still have kids with some shower sex," Carlos sighed in a loving way.
"Did you tell him that?"
"Yeah, but he's scared, because his mother almost died during child birth when she had him, she was in a coma for two months," Carlos' eyes were glossy with tears. "He's so sweet; I'm meeting his family next weekend,"
"Really?" Kendall asked, slightly put out. "How long have you guys been talking about meeting each other's family?"
"Mm, I guess a few weeks?"
Kendall was really put out then, James and Carlos had been together only a week and a few days longer than Logan and Kendall had, and they were already meeting each other's families, Logan had never even hinted about it once too him, was he ashamed of him?
"Oh, does Diego know yet?"
Carlos snorted. "God no, he'd flip his shit, he hates James. For no fucking reason, like at all, Does Ceddie know?"
Kendall shook his head. "Ceddie would kill me,"
"Imagine him walking in on you and Logan fucking?" Carlos laughed.
Kendall flushed a deep red, "That's my worst nightmare, please shut the fuck up. He'd kill us both,"
….
Logan took Kendall out that night, they were eating dinner and like the night before Kendall very obviously had something on his mind, Logan had brought him out to one of his favorite restaurants, it was small and uncrowned and pretty private, but Kendall had only shown interest for a moment before slipping away into his thoughts, except unlike last night he didn't look excited and nervous, he looked disappointed and upset.
"Is your food good?" Logan asked.
Kendall nodded, picking at the chicken he had hardly touched. Logan frowned, he hated it when his baby was this upset, he had been this way ever since he had picked the blonde up when Ceddie went out to the movies with friends.
"It's nice here, isn't it?"
Kendall nodded again, taking a sip of his water and then sighed softly, frowning.
"Kendall?"
"Mm?"
"What's wrong?"
Kendall sighed. "Nothing, I guess I'm just moody today. I'm sorry if I'm ruining your evening, you can take me home."
Logan frowned, feeling anxious. "You...wanna go home?"
"Please?"
Logan sighed, put down his fork, nodded, and asked the passing waiter for the check, looking just as put out, he had been so excited to see the blonde for dinner, he had thought about him and their night together all day, all threw class, so much he would break off in the middle of a lecture and just stare off into space with a smile, needing his students to call him back to attention. Kendall grabbed the check, put money in the black folded, and handed it back to the waiter before Logan could notice it was there.
"I was supposed to buy," Logan said, almost whining.
"It's fine," Kendall said, collecting his possessions. "I got it, are you ready to go?" he asked, throwing ten bucks down on the table for tip. Logan frowned and followed the blonde out of the restaurant with a solemn expression, his heart pounding in his chest rapidly, and his eyes burning with tears. What had he done wrong?
Kendall sat quietly in the passenger seat as Logan drove him home, or at least tried to drive him home, halfway Logan was struggling with seeing the road, his eyes burning with tears, trying to keep them in until he had dropped the blonde off. It was nothing, Logan reminded him. Kendall just wasn't in a good mood, so what? Everyone had their bad days, Logan couldn't let himself get worked up just because Kendall was a little distant, that was girl crap, he was a fucking man for god sakes, but the universe didn't seem to care that he wasn't a sixteen year old girl and made him start to cry and blinded him as he tried to drive home.
"Logan?" Kendall asked, sounding like himself again, sweet and concerned his tone no longer stiff and over polite but gentle and open. "Logie, are you crying?"
"No," Logan choked lightly.
"Logie what's wrong?"
"Nothing," Logan repeated. "I just don't understand why you're acting like that,"
Kendall was silent. "I'm sorry Logie…I…I just got upset today because James and Carlos are moving so fair in their relationship but we just...haven't been."
"You didn't think we were moving fair in our relationship?" Logan asked, confused.
"Physically, yes, Emotionally, definitely, but its…more of the steps a relationship takes, more than going out on dates and talking." Kendall shrugged. "It's stupid now that I say it out loud, I'm sorry I ruined tonight, Logan."
Logan shook his head, "No, no this is good. I like knowing how you feel, remember? I should have realized…I've been so worried about getting to know you and making you comfortable with my specifically, I didn't think of you getting comfortable with anything else." Logan drove right passed Kendall's house then and onto the next street.
"Logan...you missed the house," Kendall said, confused.
"I know, I'm taking you somewhere," Logan said, driving on. Kendall stared at Logan all the way into the town that the brunet had grown up in in a town over, they drove passed the houses and into town, and Logan then pulled into the parking lot of a small but pretty veterinarian office.
"Where are we?" Kendall asked.
"Come with me," was all the brunet said. Kendall did as he said and followed the brunet threw the parking lot that was empty except one other car, they walked around the front and into the back of the office to a plain unmarked door in the back, it was open and Logan and Kendall slipped in and were greeted by barking. Kendall yelped and stared at the kennels that were filled with all kinds of dogs. Kendall walked passed them with Logan and threw another door, which led to a small hallway that was lined with rooms for treatment.
"Heather!" Logan called; grabbing Kendall's hand so he wouldn't go to run and dragging him to the front, into the secretary room, down another tiny hall and into Heathers office were she sat with a big black cat in her lap and a bird with wrapped wings in the corner.
"Logie?" she said, blue eyes widening in surprise.
"Hey, big sis. I have someone I want you to meet," and before Kendall could protest he shoved the blonde into the tidy little office and before his oldest sister, Heather stared at him for a moment before smiling brightly and getting up from her chair, cat clasped in her arms tightly.
"So you're Kendall!" she said in her mature but lofty voice. "Logie's told us so much about you! I'm Heather!" and before Kendall could resist she hugged him tightly, cat and all. Kendall hugged her back awkwardly around the cat. Logan could see his sisters blue nails hold onto Kendall tightly, her pink smile as bright as ever.
"I don't think he can breathe, Heather," Logan said when his sister cease to let his lover go in appropriate number of Mississippi's, he had counted to ten.
Heather let him go with a regretful expression, let the cat down on the desk, and stuffed her slim hands into her white coat pockets.
"Spending the night, Heath?" Logan asked, scratching the cat behind the ears, Heather forced herself to take her eyes off of the blondes lovely shy face and pretty green eyes, and looked at her little brother who was cuddling with the cat like it was a newborn baby, they even rubbed noses. She sometimes wondered why her brother had never become a veterinarian, or a blind eye dog teacher or something.
"Just till midnight, then one of the interns will spend the night until five o'clock, and then another intern until nine," she smiled softly. "Andrew's been dying to ask you about that car of yours by the way," Heather said, scattering around the desk and collecting papers, it was a nervous habit that Logan knew as well as he knew the back of his hand. She put her hands on a picture frame and showed her son's dark hair and sharp blue eyes off to Kendall. The blonde smiled briefly at it,
"He looks like you," Kendall said.
"He does," Heather smiled. "Most of the kids do. Dak doesn't have many dominate features," she then showed Kendall a picture of a handsome man in his early forties with light brown hair and even lighter brown eyes, his face was tanned and his lips were thin, Kendall understood what she meant.
"My Ceddie takes after me," Kendall said, smiling slightly. "Except the hair color…he has his…his father's hair color." Kendall choked a bit and Heathers face turned sympathetic and understanding, she nodded lightly as Kendall took out his phone to show her a picture of Ceddie with his gold brown hair and mischievous green eyes, and lovely curved lips and pale skin. He did look a lot like Kendall, Heather noted. But not totally, his features weren't as rounded and soft as the blonde before her. He must be a deliverer, not a carrier.
They heard barking in the distance, Logan perked up, letting the cat fall gently onto the desk,
"OH, is that a German Shepard? Can I go see?" he asked his sister excitedly.
"Sure, sweetie," Heather said, Logan ran out the door, leaving his lover with his sister. Heather decided it would be her only opportunity,
"So handsome," Heather cooed, she had such a soft spot for children of all ages. "I have three boys, only one girl." Heather widened her eyes to make herself look innocent and asked the question that had been on all the sisters minds,
"Do you ever want more children?" They all knew how desperately their brother wanted to have kids, not matter how much he tried to say he would be happy with just the boy, they knew he would miss that forever, and would always want them.
Kendall wasn't fooled. "Do you mean…do I want to have babies with Logan?"
Heather decided to be honest. "Look…we can all tell that you make Logan very happy, and you two love each other. And I know what happened to you, and I don't want to sound like I'm medaling nor am I pressuring you, but kids are really important to Logan, he might not tell you that, but they are."
Kendall sighed. "I know they are he isn't as guarded as he thinks he is."
"So?" Heather pressed gently.
"One day," Kendall said.
So that ending was horrible, BTW, next chapter, more Kogan smexy time and Ceddie finds out about Kendall and Logan oohhhhhh
Lots of Love,
