"Look at you," he says, and he laughs, "you look terrible."

Naruto smiles weakly then looks away, and his tears continue to fall.

"Did I really mean that much to you?" He asks, and Naruto backfires, "do you still doubt it?"

Sasuke chuckles, shaking his head at that, and sits next to him. "You really lost your shine." Sasuke states, but not meanly, and for a second Naruto thinks - this is the first time I really hear you - because Sasuke doesn't sound sad, doesn't look sad, because Sasuke's a blank canvas, or he's supposed to be.

"You can move on," Sasuke says, pauses, "I won't get mad."

And Naruto's crying harder then, shaking his head, and smiling - smiling at whatever it is, Sasuke, or Sasuke's ghost, and he doesn't know what to do but shout "no," and then again, but quietly this time, because his voice is breaking, "no, I can't."

And he wishes it was that easy, but Sasuke looks at him with urgent eyes and says, "you have to," before he disappears entirely, and Naruto's alone again with a bloody, lifeless corpse, more pale than it was ever supposed to be.
