Falling through the void is cold, that's the only word Loki knows that can describe it. It feels like he's been torn open and left bare for the entire universe to see. Cold hands cling to him every so often but never long enough for him to truly know if they are real or not. All he knows is that he's cold and that he can't move or breathe, he's just cold. He's never been more in touch with his Frost Giant side than he is now because, as a Frost Giant, the cold is everything that defines him, everything that makes him who he is, it creates him and it breaks him and he hates it. So when he hits the ground, all shock and pain and gasps and groans and blood and water and ice, he smiles, he might still be cold, but at least the cold is not the only thing he feels now. At least it's not the only thing that describes him, the only thing that makes him, at least it's not the only thing that breaks him.
