"Matthew…"

"Hm…?"

"Matthew…"

Who was that? Who is calling his name? Canada can barely hear them. It's almost like their whispering through the air. The soft sheet of him blankets keep warm voice but that voice is still calling his name softly.

"Matthew, wake up…"

Purple eyes opened slowly. "Alfred…?"

"Matthew…"

Opening his eyes Matthew slowly sat up. Blinking the sleeping haze away he looked around . "Hello?"

"Matthew…"

"Who… Who's there…?" Matthew asked worriedly.

"Over here…"

Looking around Matthew saw something tall and covered in a large sheet. Standing up slowly he walked to it and touched it gently as the voice called his name again. Pulling it off he ignored the feeling in his stomach to just leave.

The sheet fell off almost slowly and a grand Mirror there covered in gold trim all over the edges. Looking in the mirror he saw his refection looking back for a moment he couldn't place what was wrong with it until he noticed the eyes slightly darker, the wavy hair pulled back into a pony tail with some hair to frame his face and the red mountain uniform he wasn't wearing today.

Gasping he fell back with his hands supporting him from landed on his back. The refection sat cross legged with his hands on his ankles.

"It's okay. I'm you. The other you."

"Other me?"

"Everyone has an other self. I'm yours. I found this mirror and saw you sleeping in here and called to you. Now we can talk. Can you out your hand to the mirror? I want to see if we can feel from the other side of the glass."

Unsure Matthew slowly reached out and they placed their hands together matching perfectly. Looking at the hand he marveled and wondered for a moment if he was having a dream. Then suddenly the hand grasped his tightly, hands intertwining.

"It works!"

"Wh-what works?" Matthew whispered.

"Sorry, player one but I'm trading places with you!"

Almost not having any time to scream Matthew was pulled through and he landed on the other side. Gasping he turned tried to push back but the other Matthew was already standing and dusting himself off and was giving him a smile but the eyes were smirking. Then he turned and covered the mirror and left.

Closing the door Matthew smirked to himself. He had finally after months of waiting gotten that idiot other self to notice the mirror. Climbing up the stairs he looked around. He had to be careful not to get caught, but the person he was looking for should be right next door. Looking around he stopped and noticed a cell phone there.

Picking it up he opened it when two arms reached over his shoulder. "Hey, you found it! Thanks Mattie!"

Matthew blushed and looked up He found him. The one player he had fallen in love with…

America.
